I attempted to root my Samsung Galaxy Tab A (SM-T350) with Odin3, but after it showed "pass" in odin3, The tablet automatically restarted and got stuck on the boot screen, it doesn't respond to any buttons, it cannot go into download mode, recovery mode or anything. It's just stuck in the boot screen, with a bunch of RBG pixels at the top. I'm new to tablet's and phones, so I can't tell if it's bricked or not, though I think that it's bricked. If it's not possible to recover my tablet, is it possible to transfer the photo's over to my laptop? I have tons of photo's that I really want to keep, so if it's possible to transfer the photos over to my laptop and factory reset my tablet, please tell me a solution to this. I'm thinking of giving it to a professional to fix, but I want to see if I can fix it on my own to save money.
The tablet model is "SM-T350", before I attempted to root it.

Pressing the down volume (-) button and power button together on the frozen logo usually works for other users. Works like a fast reboot.

sucsessfully rooted my tab last night and downloaded some apks to it.
downloaded tiger woods and it was it the wrong screen dpi so i downloaded lcd dpi manager.
in my haste to play said game i changed the dpi without backing up my system and rebooted.
now tab will switch on (opening screen with samsung galaxy tab ect shows) and the internal lights are on but the screen is blank.
can get into the menu from holding down the power and volume button.
any help will be gratefully recieved as the wife is going to skin me alive when she finds out i have broke her new toy.
can enter odin mode if this helps.
Flash Stock Rom.
You are not bricked if you can enter Download/ODIN mode.

Have you tried just letting it sit on black screen for a few minutes? Boot animation could just be broken.

Please help me, my samsung galaxy tab 3 gone black screen
after installing some of games from google play,
when i restart my tablet after startup sound it will stock on
black screen with a little glow on screen.
when i tried to go to recovery option to perform a hard reset by pressing volume up ,
home button and power samsung galaxy tab 3 appears and stock on it and nothing happens,..
please help , i try to find an answer on google but nothing found.

I wanted to solve this problem on my own but after almost 6 hours I just can't figure it out. Its either totally bricked or I'm just missing something simple. I've seen many people complain about this problem but none of them seem to have had the same problem I do. Thing is I was just really starting to love the way I had the phone set up. DAMN!

START

This stays on for about 10 seconds.
Then blank screen (2 seconds)
(vibrate)
Screen still blank (2 seconds)
REPEAT (Auto reboot and goes back to start)
Other notes:
Trying to boot into recovery (home+vol up+power) Nothing Happens
Try to power off and nothing happens.
Pulled battery, did the 30 sec and restarted no change.
I have all updated usb drivers.
Odin will not see the device because its not on long enough. (Kies didn't see it either.)
Plug into PC via usb - Nothing Happens, device doesn't even show up because its not on long enough (win 8.1 and 7)
Pull battery to get it to stop, once battery goes back in, it auto starts again.
I TRIED AS MANY SD CARD / BATTERY/USB CABLE/POWER CABLE/BATTERY PULL/BUTTON COMBINATIONS AS I COULD FIND ONLINE AND THEN SOME. No Luck with anything.
I know this isn't a "help desk" I just wanted to give as much info as possible hoping to help you help me!
Please point me in the right direction.

Try to hard-reset your phone. There is a button combination for that., search it over the internet.

Unfortunately the hard reset combo does nothing. I've tried every button combination that I have been able to find with no luck. Factory reset, hard reset, etc. etc. no luck. I've also searched for a possible "hidden" button underneath the back cover or something of the like...nothing.

At least, it is not hard-bricked. So there is hope.
Have you checked if it is entering the download mode? If not, then try it. You can use this mode to flash file via the PC.

Ok so i have my sisters samsung galaxy tab4 ( sm-t230nu ) which she brought to me today.
Her screen went black, lights up and all but it stays black in color. Up down volume buttons work and u can hear them working, power button works, turns screen on and off, TOUCH SCREEN WORKS, on certain areas u can hear the noise it makes when u tap on the screen and apps. I pressed the power button alone for it to restart, it restarts but does not show samsung tab logo or anything at all just lit up black screen. I even went on YouTube to memorize the hard reset sequence of buttons u have to press in order to complete the reset and i did manage to hard reset. But screen is still booting up on a lit black screen. I removed the back cover, unplugged the battery and tried booting it up and still nothing. BTW its full factory, no root roms or anything of the sort. I need help on what could be the problem. Only thing i believe might have caused this was a recent update on the system. My sister sais a few days ago it gave her a notification about it and she clicked on yes. I dont know what version of android it had nor which it had updated to. Please help. Tablet is not that old. Hi, I am a beginner at all this. I recently rooted my Samsung Galaxy Note2 (GT-N7100).
It was working fine, everything was all right.
Then I saw that I could change my boot animation, so I saw some YouTube videos about how to do it.
I downloaded an Iron Man boot animation, and tried to do the steps as told in the video.
But I could not Overwrite the existing files nor can I copy the new files.
Then the actual problem started.
Now my Phone only shows Galaxy Note2 and thenot the screen goes blank, the sound of Samsung comes but no image, Also the bigger problemy is
That my power button is not switching off the screen, the screen never shuts off at all.
I have to use app (screen lock) to do that. Even then I come to my locks creep and it does
P.S. The other functions of the button is working like, when I long press it it shows me the options of Power off, reboot, Airplane Mode etc.
If you could just help me fix my power button I would be grateful. Thank you.
