Simple, fast and seamless YouTube mp3 converter app.
Which quality are the MP3s converted to?
The audio files are always converted to the highest available quality which means that'll be at least as good as the audio in the video if not better. The most common bitrate for the MP3s is 192 kbps, but if the desired video does not provide a bitrate this high then this number will be lower, usually 192 kbps or 128 kbps - you can always check the bitrate after you've downloaded the MP3 by viewing the file's properties.
Are ID3 tags automatically added?
Yes, if we are able to find the correct ID3 tags for your MP3 then we will make sure that it is added to the MP3. This will allow you to display more information about the MP3 when you're playing it.
What if ID3 tags are not found?
When the right ID3 tags are not found for your MP3, then the thumbnail and YouTube link will be added as the tags.

Hi,
The app does not delete any song if it is uninstalled.
But it's a bit sad that you are uninstalling it.
You misunderstood me, it's a great app. I only uninstalled it because I had a bug on my phone and I didn't know what caused it, only to discover that several mp3s I downloaded were gone (I forgot if they were downloaded with your app or some other). Anyway, I actually reinstalled it now and I'm going to keep it, it's getting more and more reliable. :good:
EDIT : BTW can you add a YouTube download queue if possible?
Thanks.
If you face any problem, please report.
I will try to solve it.

Is it ok to report the errors here?
Because I was trying to reproduce the error, I've downloaded some other songs using YouTrack and I have uninstalled it again (after copying the songs elsewhere) and I confirm, the songs are deleted from the Music directory on uninstalling it.
EDIT: and they're not recovered with Titanium backup
Hi denimwho,
Nice app, but I`m using it to write about it but it does not work in three different devices. Or the download fails or make a little file that goes to a Youtube to Mp3 web converter....

I use Android's Download Manager for downloading mp3. Maybe there's somewhere in settings to disable only download via WiFi.
I will try to fix the WiFi problem in the app.

Hey guys!! First of all I just want to thank the developer for doing such an amazing work building the best available video player on andoid, and for free. You rock!
I want to know if there could be a chance to take advantage of root access for being able to browse system folders (like “data”) when manually loading subtitles. In my case, the reason I need this feature is because I’m using MX as default player with Popcorn Time and this app, in my device, only works fine if it’s cache folder is setted to internal data folder (by default). So it downloads the video and subs into that folder, but the subtitles needs to be loaded manually on MX and obviously I can’t do it.
If you think there would be any other way to solve this I’d really apreciate the info.
Greetings to all and thanks in advance for the help!! (and sorry about my english...)

Hey @josuearisty!!
Like I wrote in my previous post, the reason I need this is because Popcorn Time, in my device, only works with default cache folder path which is "data/data/pct.droid/cache". It stores video and subs into that folder and while the video is sent automatically to MX with an http server, subs needs to be loaded manually so, if I'm not able to browse that folder I have to download them separately which is really annoing.
Thanks anyway for the info. :good:

Tried it. When I select data folder in browser, it doesn't get into it, in fact, It doesn't do anything... :crying:
Same thing as when I try to browse into that folder while loading subs. Like if the browser doesn't have root access.

If you add the entire root or data partition, it will impact media scanner's performance. So, It's not suitable for everyone. Only experienced users can make use of it. Better to have it as an optional.
Anyhow I will try to convey your request to the developer.

Thank you so much @ktsamy!! I really only need this function in the browser that's called when loading subtitles as, for the video, Popcorn Time uses a stream which is automatically sent to the player. But I don't know if this needs to be "activated" on media scanner too. I mention it just in case.
Greetings and thanks again for your help!!

Hi guys,
MX Player has been my favorite player for ages but after I've upgraded my GS5 to Android 6.0.1 it started doing something annoying. Before the update if I had a bunch of videos on a folder it would simply play one after the other. After the update the first video stops playing when it reaches the end but the next video doesn't start...instead I have to start it manually. I went to the MX Player settings, then Player and made sure the option "Back to list - return to the list after playback is completed" was unmarked. Any idea on how to fix this?

I was wondering if there was a fix for this issue.
My tablet (Galaxy Tab S) just received an OTA 6.0.1 update, and now has the same issue.
@rawfa
@Vanillo
@Ragepaw
Hope you guys are openning the videoa from either samsung file manager or Gallery. It's actually not a MX Player bug. It's a side effect of content provider. Latest Samsung File Manager and Gallery uses Content provider instead of forwarding normal file paths.
For example, MX Player will receive "content://[email protected]/external/video/media/12345" instead of actual file path. So, it may not be possible to open the next video when actual path of the file. Next button doesn't work with most of the known media players because of this new implementation.
Instead of File manager, you can use MX Player directly to open videos. If you want to use in Hierarchical Tree View, Just Go to Menu > View > Folders. To show all videos without showing any folders you may use "Files".
Thanks @ktsamy.
Unfortunate answer, but it also explains the other weird issue I have been seeing, which is MX Player showing a number instead of the filename.

Things changes with newer android versions.
From android 7.0 onwards it will be default on all apps having target SDK as 24.
It's unfortunate that Nougat will no longer allow the file scheme when target SDK is set to 24. So, either they have use Target SDK as 23 or have to switch to content scheme. But, When content scheme is used the intent receiver will not aware the actual path.[emoji20]

Hi,
I just updated to version 1.10.17 and since this I cannot fast forward my mpeg-ts videos anymore (streamed from my VU+ box). This worked just fine the second before the update.
Sent from my phone
I also ran into the same problem, or worse as I'm forced to watch the entire video in one sitting because if paused, the player restarts from the beginning of the video instead of resuming. Everything was running great yesterday before the update to the new version.
I've the same problem with TS files too. After the recent update, once I touch the scrollbar, it jumps to the beginning of the movie. MPEG2 VOB files also have similar problem, but instead of jumping to the beginning, it seams to jump to random position.
There is also another problem with TS. I can see multiple subtitles in subtitle menu, but the selected subtitle doesn't display. This problem also appears after the recent update.

We are rolling out the 1.10.23 in phases. So, it may take a while to reach everyone. Meanwhile, if you would like to install the app manually, we suggest to always download the app from the official website (http://mx.j2inter.com/translation/test-build).

Hi,
I am using LG V30+, on beta stream of MX player, i am not able to forward or resume the .MKV files in my mobile. but the same version of MX player working fine with Redmi K20.
Is there any particular update or fix need to be done from MX player end ? to fix the issue.
I am having the same problem
I can no longer FF or skip forward it just snaps back to the original spot. I am now using other players but I used to like MX and would like to be able to use it again.
Same problem with mkv. Always from start, any seeking disabled. I use maximum speed to seek to where I want and use slowest speed instead of pausin. Please, fix.
I've been using this app for years to download my favorite music,. thought I'd share, and it has absolutely no ads,.and that's the beauty.

Dude, I've been a member for 10 years, I wouldn't upload malicious content.
Hi, App doesn't work
Download continuous to 10% and then shows error
Just use deezloader
I'd recommend using the app newpipe from F - Droid. Org. It's open source and completely replaces the YouTube app. It respects your privacy better and let you download the music in whatever format you want. I particularly like that it it keeps a local copy of your subscriptions and doesn't provide that information to YouTube.
