[Help] Looking for android app allowing multiple user profiles. - General Questions and Answers

Greetings all.
I'm looking for an app that allows multiple user profiles, such as:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-parallel-space-multiple-accounts-t3308715
All the apps I am currently running (GO Multiple, Parrallel space, Appclone, etc) only have the ability to 'clone' 1 specific game (clash royale in this case) with 1 single google profile. I want an app that allows you to create multiple. While using multiple of such apps does the trick, so to speak. Appclone started to fail and no longer boots up the clash royale game.
If anyone can help me with this, appreciate it.
Using the S7 on Android Marshmallow. And I'm rooted.
Regards,
Skyrider

Not really related to my thread, but I assume you need a specific amount of posts before you can create threads here. At least it was so in the past.

10 posts is the amount to start posting

I get to assume no one knows?

Titanium backup should work (Data profiles). I don't know if you need pro.

[Q] auto answer

Is it not possible to have the phone app have an auto answer feature? I know this was available in the past roms but appears to have gone away with jelly bean. Probably few people use it but when you are on a motorcycle it is invaluable.
Seconded

Figure out a way? Im looking for a solution too. Also for my motorbike
I don't think it needs to be built into the ROM... there are plenty of Apps. Could do it using Tasker as well.
What rom are u using?
That feature isn't part of the dialer, it should be under: settings / call settings / all calls / answer calls

Use LAPTOP to control ANDROID device? Anyone know how?

If I had a nickel for every app in the play store that let's us android users control our laptop one way or another, I would have more than a nickel. So, out of all the apps on the play store that do this, I can't seem to find one that all allows the LAPTOP to control the ANDROID phone. So apps like Wifi Mouse would not work, I would want the opposite of what that does, so that my laptop would control my android. Any apps/programs out there that you guys have used before or have heard of? Wouldn't it be easier to make a pc program to control an android, than the other way around (that's what I thought...)?

Android SDK and ADB with the device emulator. Not sure that it would work over network tho.

Yeah, I need it to work over network for what I want to do to, or else no point in doing this.

Air droid won't let me use the keyboard keys of my laptop to have control over my android though. That's what I'm trying to do.

[Completed] Restricting internet access to specific apps when opened.

Greetings, XDA Assist!
I want to know if there is a way to restrict internet access to an Android app *ONLY* when it is opened.
For e.g, if I want to hide my last seen on WhatsApp, I switch off my WiFi/Data, and open WhatsApp -> Reply to the messages -> Close Whatsapp -> Turn Data on.
Is there a way to restrict internet access to only certain apps when they're opened, and regain access when they're closed?
It would be of great help if you direct me toward a solution, maybe a Tasker profile?
P.S - Classic XDA Lurker. Lurking for two years. Joined recently. You guys are brilliant. Keep up the good work!
Thanks in advance!
Hi there!
Depending on root or not, there's different option available
In your situation, I'd personally use Greenify
Or some custom ROMs have App Ops built in. You can select permissions on a per app basis. I don't think its quite what you're after in this case.
See if Greenify suits your needs. Read about it in the opening post in the thread I linked. ?
Good luck!!

And no, I don't think your example is going to hide last seen. As soon as you read or post anything, I'm sure it'll make you last seen. No matter how you try to hide it. As soon as you do download or upload. .. It knows you were on. Nothing will change that.

Yes, I misunderstood your goal. You want the opposite of what I was thinking.
If the app is open and no data or WiFi...the app will not function while you use it.
If you don't want people seeing your presence on social apps....you'd have to not use them. Lol
Take care.

Thanks for the reply!
I'm aware of Greenify and my ROM does have App Ops.
I wanted to know how to automate it ONLY when you open the app.
Open Whatsapp -> App stops accessing internet (OR) WiFi/Data gets switched off. [Preferably former]
Close app -> Regains internet access.
Something similar.
I'm sorry, I searched Google and XDA....found nothing like what your after. Lots on keeping it off data when closed....but not open. Again....you can toggle airplane mode on, then open it and test your theory...but I doubt it will have your desired results.
Here's a tasker guide, you can check it out, or ask in the thread perhaps.

Good luck again!

[Completed] Problems with Search function in threads

Hi,
I have been having a issue with the Search function in threads. Some threads are over 500 pages long so I'd like to be able to search key words in the thread. For some smaller threads the search seems to work fine, but for very large threads the search always returns 0 results. This happens for words I know for a fact are discussed in the thread. "Lollipop" for example.
This is an example of a thread that always returns 0 results. I have also tried this in different browsers, with the same results.
Search: "lollipop"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2706391
Is anyone else experiencing this or know how I can fix it?
Thanks
Hi
Can you specify if you are using an app, or the website on a browser or pc?
Thanks!
---------- Post added at 07:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:23 PM ----------
On Tapatalk I got many results in that thread for Lollipop. ?
Browser on a pc. Win7. Tried chrome, ie, and ff.
Do you get results when you search the thread I liked?

Must be an issue with your browsers. Try clearing cache on them in app settings. Data maybe too... Tho it'll wipe cookies.

HWUE

Hi all....new member question.
I am rooted, running stock, and have removed most of the programmes I dont use.
I have 2 questions.......
My biggest problem is a program called HWUE which I think is the Huawei user experience. Is this safe to freeze ? It keeps running despite the fact I have unchecked the box for user experience program.
Secondly (and less of an issue) is the fact that nfc cant be frozen without force closes.....any way around this ?
Many thanks.
