Hi, I need the dump to try to fix my phone. I need an h950, but If you have another version, we can try, and we can make a database to fix our dead phones...
Is an H950, It can be done from adb or from a terminal, root is needed, it only copies first 512mb not all data, If I cannot fix with that, a full one maybe its needed, but I dont think so. If it was a full bakup for privacy, make a wipe or factory reset first

If you have 11x and up ie Android 5.1.1 previously you wouldn't want dump of any other variant.. It wouldnt help anyway as a qfuse is blown..
Plus i can't help as my internet wouldnt in death of universe upload the dump.

I dont remember wich I have, 11z I think, but the only I want to fix is download mode to reflash it.
I dont know if its possible, but I must try

U may try extracting dumps from att 11z tot somewhere around this thread..
I have flashed it when bricked but in the latest scene..my phone overheated and shutdown.. And would not bootup..but download kode was availabe so i restored using the tot..
Everything was fine until i noticed DRM was not working properly.. So i checked my device ids and baaam imei was zeroed out.. Have no efs backups but cellular is working.. Only Drm isnt working..
Is there a solution using nvtools or qpst? Cuz bootloader locked ..

I'd repaired mine, with zero and with null.
null needs much more effort, but with qpst.
Can you make me a dump? I will search If I have a backup of my efs, I dont think so, but If I have a working phone, I can figure how to do it, I fix it two times in that condition with no problem at all

As i mentioned earlier.. My internet isn't very good..
I fixed my imei problem using qcom nv tool..
There is a tot file in this forum for h950..
If i can i will make a dump but only after a few days (after i have access to good internet)

the tot is useless cause I need the partition table in a single img file, and the download mode working in that dump...
I dont try but maybe I can make a single img putting one over the other file, giving the correct offset...

no sr, thats system partition only, couriously, system partition, and data arent necesary to boot in download mode.
What I really need is the first mb, I think with 128, or maybe a little more is enough, from 0 to laf partition so I can get download mode, or, at least, try to make it works and reflash

The phone dont even try to boot from sd, I dont know why it deads really, I think doing a backup a overwrite some partitions... changing if and of parameters...

Doing an unlock of my android froyo , I erased the path /efs .And now the EMEI , is corrupted or missing.
In a rooted state of my phone with the ADB shell, I tryed to created the path , and when i´m restarting the phone , the path is gone.
Also i tryed to restore the /efs but after the reboot is gone and the same if i ´m changing the version from froyo to gingenbed.
Any help will be , very appreciate .

You must update, then root it.
If you can do, before upgrade, make a dd of all default partitions, exept userdata, upload somewere and share it please...

I'm in the same boat. I even tried using my work AT&T SIM and no go. Hoping this works out. Subscribed.
I just upgraded to a Flex 2 last week and bought a $10 Go Phone card, then called AT&T daily until the pushed the 11z update before putting in my T-Mobile sim. Took 3 days and after debloatng & root, I'm a happy camper

well sr, I found the way to do it.
What ar backuped.
Ill give us 2 scrypts.
First one backups everithing exept SYSTEM, USERDATA, CACHE.
second one backups as scrypt 1 exept raw_rescourcesbak
there are only one problem, you must be rooted to do this:
the way to root stock image:

then, what you have to do is this:
install adb (I use minimal adb and fastboot and works great)
enable developer options in your phone.
then run minimal adb, you have to put the txt attached in this comment in the same folder to be easyer.
in command prompt you have to put:
to full backup:
adb shell < flex2_1.txt
to low size backup
adb shell < flex2_2.txt
you will have a lot of img files in the internal storage of your phone, thats the backup...

Cool!!!! That would be awesome! as long as we have the original system.img in root directory I can assume we could flash back to stock.
I would love to try it out but I'm using LS996. I really dont want to brick it tho.

Well, I cannot do with download mode, I have to reflash kdz with flash tool but all right, phone is back.
I dont know what means thats error, but is fixable with kdz...
At least the versions that have one....
Maybe my rom is wrong and is not related to bootloader.
I mount both partitions, stock rooted and my aosp compile and move all data of my compilation inside stock image, with -a parameter from linux, so preserve all data, links, properties and permission, but... Error 9

the error code came from the bootloader, when you change/delete/freeze some apps ... i hate LG for the locked bootloader ...

Do you know wich LG apps are required to boot? this apps can be injected and problem solved

post 67 tells that the problem is kernel modules and modem.
what I do to test is: step by step:
take the img of stock image and the aosp compiled one
mount both in diferent folders as we do to make a rooted image
then, take all files, folders and symlinks keeping all properties and paste over the stock image, so If any file is missing, in my "modded system.img" will be there.
then flash the modded file as the rooted system in the phone from download mode, with send_command.
I have everything, If you want to check the image, I can upload it and you can test it.
there are 2 problems:
1- Its made with h950 files, so I think its not compatible with the other versions.
2 - for people that upgrade to 5.1.1 at&t software arent kdz files aviable, so, if error happens, no way back, so it can only be tested with phones with kdz aviable.
I dont know wich version of phone you have, but If I send you the scrypt to collect files, can you send it and I make the img for you to try
I have the H955 UK/EUR version I'd be happy to try help if I can. I Wonder if its a DRM problem? I used to have Sony Z1 and before all the updates unlocking bootloader lost the DRM keys causing the camera to stop working along with other bits, but loosing the camera was the main problem. Could it be a DRM problem?

H955, firmware version 15c
If you have system.img or rootedsystem.img on your internal sd use dd commands you can find on a couple of threads around here (sorry, I'm not being mean, I genuinely don't know where to find them as I've never used them to restore).
If you don't have the .img file I suggest using LGup, you can find the download link and a guide here.
And you can get a KDZ that's even more up to date than what you had here.
I really hope this helps you as I've been in exactly the same position as you after a build.prop edit and I sent my phone off for repair before I found out about this.
It took 3 weeks to get it back (it was over the festive season) and it was the longest 3 weeks of my life.
Download a kdz for your phone, then reflash it, in normal mode so you dont miss your settings

I Flashed my mate 8 with phoenix the 2nd method
and I trusted what THEY said that i will get back the imei and network signal by using the HCU which never happen now it's more than one month trying everything spend more than 50$ without any results
my phone is nxt-al10 everything is set perfect it's even receive OTA update but no signal!!!
NO ANSWER TO MY REQUESTS TO THEM OVER THE CHAT OR GSM FORUM

1) unlock bootloader
2) Falsh your region OEM info via SRH tool.
3) then reboot

Factory Image won't work unfortunately...I purchased a stock image of my Phone. But made the mistake of using one of the DGTKS files that was closest to my L09 model as instructed in the unbrick method (METHOD 2) I succeeded in unbricking my phone and then flashing my Factory Image but lost my imei & serial...so I used HCU to reinstate my imei etc and managed to get a very week signal that would cut out as soon as you went inside or jumped in the car.
Nothing I tried worked ( flashed modem img etc) I had the phone back to out of the box state ( Bootloader locked ...stated in Fastboot ) but weak signal. I took it back to the manufacturer who didn't seem to detect that I had mucked around with the firmware and replaced the motherboard under warranty.
I was given a second chance and dodged an expensive bullet.....I havn't even unlocked the bootloader on the replacement phone.
XDA site needs to warn people to stay away from this method (method 2) If I ever was stupid enough to brick my phone again, I would use the Phoenix tool only to flash my own firmware and never their modified DGTKS files which I can concur that the NXT files for the mate 8 have all been removed from their supported firmware list.
As i tel to other people , you need to erase modemnvm_factory / modemnvm_system / modemnvm_backup partions and to flash them with a partions comming from a full working mate 8
Tested and worked my mate 8 work correctly now
But sorry for all who wait for solution i can't share this files it's the choice of the person who helped me to do this and they have right

For the moment i used dc-pheonix and xml scrypt that i have edited from an original factory rom unpacked not like the one in dc unocker
Edited it to erase and write the new partions only
But the right partions have to be dumped from a fully working mate 8 and than flashed to your bricked one
I will try to create a free solution soon to do not have to pay again dc unlocker

Happy for you , but i have to find a working solution for everyone,and than try to find a solution for my g8 too (if any one can dump all g8 partition pls tel me )
