After many try who have unlocked bootloader failed to update their phone.
Need a volunteer to try because i didn't habe connection here cz of the bad wether.
First if you have in android 6 relock your phone then update via ota
After that when you habe android 7 working you got error with the camera
Try to unlock your phone again via flashtool
Then force root su or try to inject latest kernel for android 6 it should work buy all time got update notification.
Any try.
Don't have internet to try
Or should wait dev to uodate flashtool and kernel
This is now confirmed working (Except flashing the 6.0 kernel)
relock, flash FTF for a region with the update via flashtool, update OTA, unlocking again restores the camera.
Just flashing supersu will NOT root the phone as you need an insecure kernel which we do not currently have for 7.0
I would suggest you only flash the 6.0 kernel on 7.0 if you are familiar with fixing soft bricks and bootloops as I am pretty sure this is what will happen.

Do you know where to find the FTF for a region with the update? I'm on the XZ dual and I wanted to download the generic Russia ftf from MM to get the 7.0 ota but I can't find a copy anywhere (xperifirm only finds the newest 7.0 ftf)

I've already tried, but I can't get the recovery to boot up, it installs correctly without errors using adb, but when I boot up, I'm not able to access it.
Can you provide the recovery.img or the link that you downloaded from.
I tried it with Androplus's original recovery but correct me if I'm wrong but I guess we need a kernel that supports custom recovery.

What's going on with kingroot for Xperia z3 lolipop 5.1.1? There is a date for available kingroot for this version?
No there isn't. Kingroot only supports 5.0 not 5.1 You could always flash 5.0.2, root with kingroot then flash a pre-rooted 5.1.1

Did you flash a stock 5.0.2, then root with kingroot, install the latest dual recovery from PC, boot to recovery, do a complete wipe then flash a pre-rooted 5.1.1 from recovery. It should work. I tried it here, worked perfectly.
BTW make sure you put the pre-rooted 5.1.1 on your sdcard before you start so once you go into recovery to do a full wipe you don't reboot until you flash the pre-rooted 5.1..1

It should not do that if you do it properly. You only lose stuff in your phone if you unlock the bootloader and you do not need to do that. Also, making a backup of things you want to keep is always a good idea.

No you will not lose warranty if you follow the locked bootloader tutorial. You do not need to unlock the bootloader to install recovery and flash a pre-rooted 5.1.1
Please take a moment to look through any of the multiple guides in the general section to see how to do this

Kingroot will send your IMEI to an IP address in china, I do not recommend it. Downgrade and use giefroot, install dual recovery, flash a pre rooted 5.1.1, then delete the recovery if you want, but I do not see why you would do this.

You are confusing recovery with losing drm keys when unlocking the bootloader.
I have never come across anyone who has recovery installed correctly and used correctly who has had problems like that
@DANIELTZ19
If you're worried and want another opinion then my advice is that everything GregBradley has stated is correct. His method is also the safest and reliable with an excellent tutorial in the General forum. Read it http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/general/guide-rootrecovery-how-to-root-install-t3017056

source: http://android.gl/huawei-p9-l09-b136-android-6-0-ota-download.html
edit: it looks like this update is for EVA-C900B135 because in the updater script there is the following content:
Code:
ui_print("EVA-C900B135");
ui_print("Thu Apr 14 06:56:40 CST 2016");
ui_print("EVA-C900B136");
ui_print("Sun Apr 24 08:26:31 CST 2016");
maybe this is the reason why my EVA-L09C432B135 did not accept this update.
before applying the EVA-L09C432B135 manual local update my phone was on EVA-L09C900B130. i hope i did not mess my cust up and there will be a working update in the near future

don`t flash in TWRP! you will maybe brick your phone.

Well the obvious choices are:
1) Use mobile Q to restore to 5.0.2...unlock bootloader, install twrp....upgrade to marshmallow using the modified update.zip that doesn't wipe recovery and finally root using the file mentioned.
or
2) Live with it as it is until someone figures out how to restore fastboot which will probably still require downgrading.

The answers to all your questions is NO...
First of all, stock kernel uses verified boot, so no joy on rooting that...you can only temporally root on some Lollipop firmwares from an exploit used by iovyroot, but root won't stick on reboot due to verified boot, so this is only good to take a TA backup...
Second and last of all , to be able to flash a custom kernel you need to unlock your bootloader...

In my experience the only solution to this is to backup data, then if possible, use firmware updater (can downloadn in playstore) then download the b360 update with the Full ota-mf-pv tag. Flash it using dload method. About thw dload method search the honor 6x threads cause i dont use it. I did not encounter this problem when updating

Is the build number and system update present? If it is im glad to know that. If you really want to root your phone the go to this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6x/development/twrp-t3583413
It will answer all your questions about that
Be advise that emui 5 uses a different twrp version than emui 4.1 just reaf op's post and you will be fine
