Guys, here is the ZIP to update via TWRP,
https://mega.nz/#!wA8C3RJJ
is the backup of my entire system, it contains boot, recovery (stock) and system partitions, it's safe to flash due I made a full wipe of the system before doing this backup. Should be easy to update as a piece of cake.
Copy the uncompressed file to the root of your MicroSD card should be something like TWRP/backups
1. Reboot into TWRP
2. cancel if ask for code
3. Don't allow system modifications
4. MAKE YOUR OWN BACKUP just in case
5. Optional, erase data, always is good a fresh install
6. Go to Restore
7. Select system and boot.
8. Reboot and enjoy

Nice!
If you are rooted/with TWRP installed simply don't do it...
P.S.: if you decide to install it (and all go fine... ) could you kindly boot on TWRP (not installing it, only booting to it from fastboot...) and without modifying system taking a backup of: recovery, boot, system? Thank a LOT!

If you are rooted, you can pull the OTA from your /cache and share it ^^

Hi Julio, listen to me... :highfive:
If you boot in TWRP *before* flashing it, you can take a full backup, included (stock) recovery!
Don't swipe to allow /system modification before taking I too... :fingers-crossed:

I know that man. But before the update I was fully stock.
Now I can take the partitions with root and terminals or TWRP. Your call.

If you've not got stock recovery it will download the OTA, reboot into custom recovery, try to flash, fail and nothing else. No damage will be caused.

sometimes the super su apk doesn't install automatically (beta), you need to install it manually via play store, or check with root checker.

Uhm.... I'm not sure you have well understood what I mean...
If you are still STOCK and update to Nougat, remaining STOCK yet, (only unlocked bootloader is needed I think...) and before flashing TWRP and/or obtaining root, you can boot on TWRP without flashing it.
If you do so, you can take a full stock boot, with (original) /recovery too and with untouched /boot & /system...
Was it already clear?

Hi.
You need to follow the steps in order for enabling xposed. The zip file which needs to be flashed and the app are required. Prior to lollipop, you don't need to flash a zip for xposed..
Secondly, no CWM recovery is available for the device and also, CWM is almost obsolete. TWRP is better as it is a touch based recovery and more user friendly.
Third, a Chinese cm12.1 was available but I don't speak Chinese and I need a Baidu account to access the download link.
Thank you for your reply, i finally have my xposed working, with your help. but it seems that some mods are not compatible, i searched whats compatible for f1 plus and i dont see any forums about it,gravity box not working fine. I saw some mod working with 5.1 but still not working with my f1plus, sorry for asking too much but maybe you have a list that is compatible for f1plus, thank you in advance...

Yes. ColorOS is a heavily skinned version of Android and most Xposed tweaks are designed for stock or near stock Android.
However, Greenify works like a charm

[FIX]Pokemon/Android Pay root on/off zips! 10/14/2016 CM13 Tested!

I was trying a few other mods that took me to installing apps to toggle root but needed special SU and all that jazz...I was not very comfortable with installing another app just to toggle it.
So I tried a terminal command way and it worked well, but remembering the commands and typing it in all the time sucked so I found an updater script that will work just the same.
Only bug is reverting back might take two flashes because of the mounting another folder. I might try and solve it when I have time but works flashing it twice.
The code I used makes it easy to know if it's working....look at theses screenshots of the recovery log

How this works:
The script will look at the folders bin and xbin where the su files are located so simply remaning them suBU will kill root and apps that look for root...the other script renames it back to su from suBU so rooted again on boot! Simple and clean!
To confirm you can flash them and get the nothing to message just to make sure!
If you have root in other folders and this does not work let me know and I will try and make special zips.
Hope this helps you CATCH 'EM ALL and use android Pay of course.

LG G2 d800. Custom LolPop ROM. Apparently I am no longer rooted, but the LP cust ROM must be causing the PoGo "not compatible". Have tried a few suggestions to no avail. Cant access TWRP anymore either. Any ideas?

Oh man no TWRP access, you need recovery or you could root then use a terminal app and do these commands to find and hide the files they check for.
I got that from G+ so no credit to me for that, and it inspired my script.

Okay, used Kingroot, but It's acting kind of funny. I think it's rooted. At least it passed root checker app twice. Then tried to use Flashify to flash TWRP img. 2.8.6 which was on there as my recent recovery image. Tapped boot into recovery and the LG logo with the boot certificate error came up. I thought I was screwed, but hit power button, and it did a regular boot into Lolli.
I'm nervous about messing with it. Last thing I want is another brick. Is there a way to check for sure that TWRP is on there successfully?
And if it is, and if I am rooted, You're saying that entering all of that code into terminal command will work and allow Pogo? Sounds too good to be true. I'm sure I'll find another new and unusual way to brick that I haven't done yet...

Does this do the same as if I went into the file through ES File Explorer and delete the su out of xbin? That trick worked for me over the weekend after I flashed CM13 and MM. I think I read somewhere it only works on CM13.

If you boot recovery then it's safe now. Yes that script worked on non systemless root but I got lazy and made zips to do the same thing in recovery. While Android is running I wouldn't delete Root files..Just a bad feeling. I go to recovery for all system files just for piece of mind lol

My script does rename them inside the zip, I just got the idea from that pic on G+. CM13 is Marshmallow though lollipop would be CM12....I recommend whatever runs good on your device. I use CM13 but I'm a Nexus user.
Yeah, that's what I thought. I just wasn't a fan of MM when I used it for a day last weekend, plus PoGo would freeze for a second or two every time I caught one. Anyway, thanks for your feedback. Maybe someone will come up with a workaround, or maybe those Niantic F"ers Will come to their senses and stop their idiocy of blocking innocent root users.

I'm using Magisk now, this mod only worked on Cyanogen mod 13 but Magisk is great and gives root and safety net passes.

Flash Systemless Root on Moto Z (Retail Unlocked) - Nougat 7.0 Using Magisk

With the help of another user on here (Thanks @estanenmi) I successfully flashed systemless root on my Moto Z (Unlocked Retail US) using Magisk
This guide assumes that:
Your device is running stock OS with latest firmware Blur_Version24.21.46 (Android 7.0 Nougat)
Your device has stock recovery, no modification to system at all.
You have a MicroSD Card inserted in your device
Download TWRP from TWRP website https://dl.twrp.me/griffin/twrp-3.0.2-0-griffin.img.html
Download Magisk v9 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
Download phh superuser from http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/magisk-phh-s-superuser-android-pay-t3435921
Copy Magisk and phh Superuser zip files to the root of your MicroSD
Flash TWRP using fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-griffin.img from command prompt or just boot TWRP using fastboot boot twrp-3.0.2-0-griffin.img
Select RECOVERY MODE from Fastboot
When prompted to enter password to decrypt, select Cancel.
When prompted, select Keep Read Only.
Tap Install then select Magisk v9 zip from the external MicroSD Card
From Install select Phh Superuser zip from the external MicroSD Card
Reboot!
Download phh superuser app from the Play Store
i followed all the steps but no root

Wait till its done!
Your device should now have Rogers 24.246-45 Firmware.
From the Bootloader, select Recovery Mode.
Select ADB Sideload
Unpack the Blur_Version24.21.46 zip file.
From an adb capable command prompt, enter ADB Sideload <name and location of Nougat.zip> (minus the <> obviously)
This will take time. Leave it alone!

Still running encrypted sadly. Couldn't ever figure out how to psych my boot image myself. Usually just flashed a different kernel but haven't seen one that works for nougat yet

With the help of another user on here (Thanks @estanenmi) I successfull flashed systemless root on my Moto Z (Unlocked Retail US) using Magisk
This guide assumes that:
Your device is running stock OS with latest firmware Blur_Version24.21.46 (Android 7.0 Nougat)
Your device has stock recovery, no modification to system at all.
You have a MicroSD Card inserted in your device
Download TWRP from TWRP website https://dl.twrp.me/griffin/twrp-3.0.2-0-griffin.img.html
Download Magisk v9 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
Download phh superuser from http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/magisk-phh-s-superuser-android-pay-t3435921
Copy Magisk and phh Superuser zip files to the root of your MicroSD
Flash TWRP using fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-griffin.img from command prompt
Click to collapse
I did it and I have root, but I want to make some exceptions. I use the twrp backup of the system file of my post, you can find it here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3510790
Also, if you are stock with unlocked bootloader and you want to keep your recovery you don't have to flash the TWRP recovery, just boot it and follow your steps and you will be root ASAP.
Thank you

You shouldn't have any issues then. DO you get an error when you try to flash Magisk or PHH SuperUser? Does it boot but you're just not rooted? Did you download the PHH Super User app after flashing the Zip? I need more info about your situation.

Did you solve the problem yet? you may try to delete TWRP folder in your internal and external storages they will reboot twrp and required your permission to write again when you go to recovery mode next time. and it will be flashable (as my experience)

Nope, im talking about while running the system, it works fine in twrp, i actually solved this by changing the permissions by checking all the boxes with es file explorer.

Cannot open TWRP mode
Hi guys. I am using Baseband version of C5000ZCU1AQC1.
I have already disabled FRP and CROM. And I flashed TWRP using Odin(success) But right now when I follow key sequence and try to boot into TWRP...
It brings me into Recovery.
I cannot access the TWRP.
What is wrong?
At this point should I wipe cache partition & data and then try updating the custom ROM using sdcard? Because if I try to click 'update from sdcard' it shows me that it is not possible.
Also. How to backup everything without TWRP??? This is so confusing. Since I don't have the same firmware version should I just not risk it? Please tell me.
If it's not possible in anyway I would break this phone in two if not.
