hey guys my wifi/interwebs were fine before I flashed to this rom today but when I sign into google it says "can't establish a reliable date connection to the server". My settings are as follows:: data enabled(check), data roaming(check), system select(automatic). When I skip I can access the internet and even sign into my gmail account but when I start the market or simililar I can't sign in and get that message (doen't make sense to me). Just flashed to :: CyanogenMod 6 ROM. any help would be great thanx!! this is my wife's phone and is on the warpath
ps: she's using the sprint htc hero with no sim
I had this problem after installing Cyanogen 6 on my G2. I went to bed angry and frustrated, but woke up to a working phone. So cheer up, maybe yours will fix itself too.
Hey there!
Today is my first day running with miui 1.9.30 on my desire s.
I switched from VoidU 1.1a just to try some new stuff.
Everything is working fine, but when trying to download apps from the store, it's just not working.
It says "Starting Download...", the page reloads but progress is stuck at "Starting Download".
In the "My Apps" menu, the download is listed, but also stuck on starting.
Wasn't able to find a solution to this problem so far.
I tried wiping cache / market data / google apps data.
Some people said it's related to google talk. So i have overwritten it with a different version, still no progress.
All other downloads are working fine. I can download from the internet and through the MIUI theme manager.
The Appstore even calls me when i have new updates.
Google Sync also syncs without problems
Does anyone have / had similar issues?
Aqua
PS: Yes i have looked in the Download App.
I am using a WPA secured WiFi connection.
When that happened to my GF the problem was that the language set for her Google account wasn't the same as the language on her phone. Switching that fixed it.
Today exactly the same thing happened also to me.
When trying to download apps from the market, it said "Starting Download...", the page reloads but progress was stuck at "Starting Download".
Yesterday everything was fine.
I tried now to switch from 3G to Wireless, and downlaoding apps.
This seemed to help, now downloading apps worked.
Then i switched back to 3G, and downloading apps from the market still works.
So the problem seems to be solved now.
Perhaps it was a temporary general problem of the market, or switching from 3G to wireless (and then switching back) helped.
Solved it!
Solution was as stupid as the problem itself.
Our wifi network got upgraded the last week.
As a side effect, some ports got locked again.
And yep, the market port was one of them.
Tried at a different wifi location and the downloaded worked fine again
This needn't to be the problem. I had the same with Voidu and Virtuous. The solution was either to change language (but worked only for couple of minutes) or uninstall update of Market to 3.1.5 (then you have to delete marketupdater.apk, otherwise it installs the update again).
I'm usually able to bodge my way through this sort of thing, but am at a loss here.
Just downloaded and flashed the latest nightly build for my Moto G 4G (Peregrine) direct from the inbuilt updater.
When it boots up i repeatedly get com.android.phone has stopped and it appears that it has no sim installed.
Have tried wiping everything and reinstalling but doesn't seem to have made much difference.
I'm an intermediate n00b - that is, I don't REALLY know what I'm doing but can usually bodge my way along blindly following forum posts to root/unlock/flash roms etc, but am at a loss this time. Can anyone please help?
OK I seem to have been able to bodge myself back to working phone more or less.
Installed Twrp 2.8.7 and CM13.0 20151204
Everything SEEMs to be ok now except that t keeps popping up a message saying my network (3UK ) is unavailable
This MAY be a problem with the network, but seems a bit of a coincidence seeing as I've been buggering about with the phone
Any known issues with network connectivity in CM13
EDIT: Still somehow managed to receive an SMS message when it said network unavaialbe
Try removing /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/telephony.db when com.android.phone keeps crashing!
Phone seems to be working now. Though not sure what i did to fix it
Now I can't install apps from Google play. Get the error "Chrome Browser - Google" can'r be downloaded. Try again and if the problem continues, get help troubleshooting
error code RPC:S-7:AEC-7 JZLQ-5JDI-W4ZW6
Edit: Also can't open the clock (eg to set an alarm) tap on the widget and it just says unfortunately clock has stopped
Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 G920P.02
Android 5.1.1
Rooted, No ROMS
I am very, VERY confused. This makes absolutely no sense to me. I believe my phone is just fried but I will find out when I take it into the sprint store tomorrow. I will most likely get a new/replacement phone but they will have no idea what caused the problem and I need to figure out how this happened so it won't happen again. I'm also very curious as I don't understand at all.
The problem: It started with me not being able to connect to the internet on ANY of my apps. No crashes or anything, just no connectivity to the internet. Calls and SMS still worked like normal. After calling sprint support they told me dial ##72786#, which then just simply broke calls and SMS. Now NOTHING works.
What caused the problem: This is where I am most confused. I was trying to setup a VPN (purevpn, to be exact) on my Xbox One. In the process of this, I was modifying my router settings on my Windows 8 PC, plugged in a 2nd router, and constantly turned the wifi off and on. I was using my phone to test if the wifi was still working. (e.g. going to google.com on firefox or launching clash of clans...literally that was it) The only thing that I can think may have messed it up was a step in settings up the VPN. On my computer, after I installed the purevpn software I located myself to "Network and Sharing Center", then clicked "Adapter Settings", then clicked on "Pure VPN", then "Sharing", then checked the box "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection", and lastly from the drop down menu, selected "Local Area Network." This allowed all devices on my network to use the VPN. Somehow this messed up my phone that hard?

Steps I have taken to fix this: I tried rebooting my times a million times. Then I cleared DNS cache in firefox and tried to connect. Then I tried hard rebooting my phone to flush DNS cache. Then I called sprint support, who told me dial ##72786#. After dialing this, calling and SMS DO NOT WORK. "Hands free activation" starting running after dialing that number and fails to work everytime. When I wasn't able to call the phone rep back, I used the sprint online chat support. I told the online rep what happened, and they assured me the only way to fix this was to factory reset my phone. As frustrated as I was, I did it. After the factory reboot, my phone STILL CAN'T CONNECT TO ****. Exactly how it was before the reboot, except I lost all of my stuff. I have done countless google searches and am clueless and need help.
Google will push all your stuff back to the phone after you log into your account. But you'll need the internet for that.
How did you get root?

I really don't remember, It was months ago. I paid $30 for it though and have never had issues with it.
Just brought it into a sprint tech store and they fixed by putting in a fresh sim card, reseting the phone, cache, dns, and everything they could reset. After that did not work they flashed an updated version of my phones software on the phone, which removed the root , and fixed the issue.
I explained what I did to all of the employees in the store (I was the only one there) and they were all as clueless as me.
Does anyone know what could have possibly caused this?
Sup folks,
so something very annoying is happening on my Pixel 7 Pro.
I first noticed it yesterday when i couldnt get any ,,Press Yes to Sign in,, Prompts on my Pixel 7 anymore.
I then reinstalled the whole phone and everything worked as before.
To explain ,,working as before,,:
- Google One Backup has its grpahical backup with the Loading bar etc
- I can get Sign In Prompts
So this worked up until about 4-2 Hours ago.
I reset cache and Data on Google, Playstore and Google Play Services with Airplane Mode and restarted my Device because i had them on the Zygisk List.
Now its the same as before. I cant get any SignIns and my Google One wont backup and or will just show its bareones UI when pressing backup and even refusing to backup at all.
Oh yeah and going into Settings and Google then pressing on Devices to get the Devicelist just unlimited Loads me.
Im also not able to link my Chromebook at all.
EDIT:
I wanna metion that it now after like waiting some time, did a full backup.
It also showed me the prompt of signin but said it was ,,smth smth expired,, and linked me to my Devices.
The phone shows up all fine in Find my Device too!
But still no Sign In Prompt and chromebook working.... NOR the device tab
Anyone else or just me?
Seems like the Module from @Displax caused this.
Once removed Chromebook worked like a charm.
But it takes some time to break, which is weird.
