Not able to root or install TWRP on Galaxy S6 5.1.1 (SM-G920I) at all.

Hi everyone,
Trying to root my Galaxy s6 SM-G920I India version but no luck. Had to restore stock firmware thrice today. Every time I used ODIN 3.10.6 with Unibase or Unikernal it would say kernel is not SEAndroid enforcing and stick to a bootloop. If I use the CF auto root method it says Recovery is not SEAndroid enforcing and again bootloop.
Trying the alternative method of installing TWRP also does not work and I get the same recovery enforcing message and bootloop. Please help. R/L is off.
I had the same problem with Indian firmware. The latest one.
I quit trying to get root.

I have the issue too guys. The newest UAE firmware(CSC XSG) is not letting the TWRP stick after flashing with Odin. I've asked for help over in the Help & Troubleshooting section. Hopefully we can figure this out.

I read your blog. The thing is that I can't root the India firmware. Is the firm I'm using and I don't want to change it cause it's working really well.
But seems that is unable to root. And I want to erase some bloatware to make it lighter
Thanks anyway for your help

I tried this method on this website but no luck.????
There is a thread on xda about how to root DOL5 formware by an INDIAN USER USING G925I.
Not all had success with it. I would suggest sticking with DOK9 firmware and wait for a few days as android 6.0.1 has started rolling already in Korea for s6(both variants)
The changes between DOK9 and DOL5 is not huge and not worth an upgrade

I have rooted my s6 today only with 5.1.1 Android and DOL5 bootloader. I flashed twrp
down below is link. You will face a little bit of problem while going in recovery but dont worry you will be able to enter after some tries. When u enter there flash super su 2.66 and u have rooted your s6.

Drk error

I flashed the proper stock image to my soft bricked s7. Odin went through the process and ended with this error: "Device does not have drk (device root key), contact to sw pl. Please flash ENG binary then install drk." Can anyone advise what steps I can take to install this ENG binary and then install drk?
Sent from my SM-G930F using XDA-Developers mobile app
I fixed this by installing the factory binary, then flashing the proper rom, rooting and installing twrp and the usual stuff.
Where have you found the 930f factory binary?

To solve this you want ENG boot or special firmware to boot your phone and enable oem unlocking
Search for s7 eng boot root
S7 qualcomm boot img

Fix Bricked S7

So I have a S7 I rooted and I had a problem with a ROM so I flashed Stock ROM but then it said a DRK Error. I fixed it flashing TWRP and encryption disabler. But my IMEI was gone so I took in to a service center where they reset it. They reset it and got the same DRK Error so I brought it home to flash TWRP again, but then I realized FRP Lock was on from resetting and now I can't flash any custom binaries and my phone still can't boot. (Situation : No boot, No IMEI, No Custom Binary Flashing, Yes Recovery and Download mode access) What can I do?

Hi
I tried to change my firmware by flashing a stock firmware from the STOCK FIRMWARE thread.

Before you ask me
The phone's model is G955-F (it is network locked to 3IE)
I have tried to restore using smasung smart switch it gives me the same error
I have tried used odin to restore the stock firmware which was in device before.

That's probably because you hadn't unlocked your bootloader. The Odin restore method will work, I have done it myself, make sure you select all of the files required in Odin. Sammobile have the 3IE firmware, get version G955FXXU1AQDD

This could sound like a really dumb suggestion but remove your google account and retry. Could it be the factory reset protection?

I returned it, will be getting a refund and will buy another one
I have the exact same problem with my SM-G955F
It has FRP lock on it
It originally could boot up, but then the google screen would ask for a password
I then went to try and flash TWRP on it which did not work
I then tryed to install the samsung stock firmware for android 8.0.0 which brings up "Custom Binary(RECOVERY) Blocked by FRP Lock"
I dont know the password, so could not enter one
I only have access to the Download screen on the phone
Flashed AP "AP_G955FXXU1CRB7_CL12993656_QB17006520_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar.md5"
ON PHONE SCREEN IN DOWNLOAD MODE: KERNEL REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE:11, BINARY:1
What can i do to remedy this ?
