CellMapper is a crowd-sourced cellular tower and coverage mapping service. By contributing data to the website, you can help map actual coverage of cellular networks based on real life conditions.
Once the data is uploaded to the site, it will be used to extract details of individual antennas on each cell phone tower along with the position and technical details of that tower. Likewise, the coverage and signal strength of the network in areas that have been mapped.
Map
You can see all data on our site.
Go to https://www.cellmapper.net/map
How do i Contribute?
To contribute, simply download app from link:

Not strictly an app related question, but since I donno where else to ask... is there a way to ALLOW ads only on Cellmapper website, if I am using EasyList?
I do NOT want to allow the same ads on other websites, so removing Google AdShite from the EasyList is not an option
I do want to support this great project, though! Cheers!

If you use Adblock on your browser where you have EasyList, you can add this rule to allow ads:
@|https://www.cellmapper.net/map|$document
@@||www.cellmapper.net/$document
No, I just use EasyList via IE11.
I'm a bit confused on interpreting the results on the map. I've been driving around my area mapping my roads but I don't understand how to get the map to display only MY contributed data. I have the "Only show my contributions" checked, but all that seems to do is remove the towers for my chosen provider when I check it. When I uncheck it, the towers show back up. 'm still seeing everyone elses's contribution when I have the button checked however. Am I missing something? If I don't select a provider but still have "Only show my contributions" checked, I see nothing.
Secondly, where is the legend that shows the what the colors mean on the signal trails? I mean, I assume red is bad but what about the different levels of green??

CellMapper Premium is adfree version of CellMapper App: https://www.cellmapper.net/subscribe
With advertisement revenue and Premium subscription we cover our server and maintenance costs. Even us, we do not like advertisement but seems it's only way to cover our hosting costs today.

Currently CellMapper can record 5G signal strength and quality but it doesn't show 5G towers on map before Standalone network available.

NetGuard can prevent applications from using the internet (=firewall).
You can allow/deny internet access for each application, even system applications.

There's no "best" - this is subjective.
You have a list of apps, and you can choose whether or not to allow an app access to the Internet over WiFi or Mobile data.
Whether or not you want to let an app access the Internet is up to you.
I have just released alpha version 0.2 with quite some things improved.

Not on a granular, per-app basis, at least right now.
NetGuard for Android works by creating a VPN service at system level. Based on your choices in the allow/deny screen, NetGuard will set up VPN rules for which apps are forced through the "VPN". The "VPN" isn't a real VPN; rather, it just sinkholes the traffic to nowhere.
The limitation here is that when creating these rules, we can only set which applications' traffic enters the VPN. We can't granularly control which requests or hosts they can talk to, on a per-app basis. It would be possible to set "for all apps" a whitelist/blacklist of IP addresses, but this would be quite different, and would likely be less useful as a firewall, and more useful as simply an "ad blocker".
The VPN interface doesn't tell us which app is trying to access the internet though - we need to set it up before-hand. There are ways to tell, but Google (or a careful OEM) could easily block those with SELinux policy updates, and the goal here is to try to get all the functionality we need without any kind of root access.
Nice app for non rooted users.
I've just created an issue on Github though.
French translation done.
I'll try to create an icon this weekend if I have free time. Let me know if you want a specific color,... etc.

The problem you have reported is probably caused by a broken VPN implementation in your ROM. I will look into it later this week more detailed.
I like to keep the current colors, realizing not everybody will like them, but I know from experience I can't make everybody happy anyway.
Thanks for your translation!
@Primokorn can you please try if you have the same problem with one of the no root firewalls from the Play store?

Can you logcat ??
Hmmm. I uninstalled it immediately. There's no status of what it's doing and all I see are ads.
I'm sure there is some power under the covers, but it would help to provide a settings screen first where the user can disable ads and maybe a description of what will happen while it communicates with the router.
I don't get it why someone needs such an app especially because you can a) Open your Router GUi via Browser or b) use the apps which are provided directly from your Router manufracture.
Thanks for the effort and app and everything but I have many doubts especially when it comes to security, because you're only a single developer, there is no source code and not really an explanation about everything what the app exactly does.

At this stage you should change name of this app to "full screen advertisement player".

I don't believe that people are necessarily saying that your app is a "hack" but it's more of an issue of can others access your app, or can other apps access your app, and ads inside of an application that does things like accessing your routers GUI isn't acceptable because ads already track and report back as much information as they possibly can, and it's not secure at all to see ads that are all over the gateway to and from the internet. If an app on our device can gain access to your app, or if someone from outside of the network is able to gain access to our router, then they could potentially have access to the entire network, including every device connected via wireless or wired, doing massive amounts of damage, or simply compromise the network to use it as a part of a botnet.

For parents: text a code word to your child's mobile phone to find out where they are;
For senior citizens: If you’re lost in the forest, you can easily communicate your coordinates to the rescue services, even if you are out of mobile internet coverage;
For hikers, hunters and extreme sports lovers: in case of injury, your friends or family may quickly locate your phone and call the ambulance;
Even if you drop your mobile phone out in the wild, you can easily locate it!
★ It is free of charge and doesn't require an online login.
★ Three modes of operation:
- automatic reply with the coordinates to a code word text message;
- automatic texting of current coordinates on a regular interval (for instance, every hour);
- automatic texting of current coordinates to a trusted contact by pressing a hotkey.
★ It's easy: just enter your trusted contact number and a code word (such as "1234"). If your phone receives a message containing your code word ("1234"), the application will automatically reply to the sender with a text message containing your current coordinates.
★ It's safe: the two phones communicate directly via SMS, without going online, and avoiding services of third parties.
★ It's thrifty: the application saves your battery life. It runs in the background and activates when it's time to send a message with coordinates.
★ It's informative: a message contains phone's current coordinates, their accuracy (in meters), exact time of locating and the battery power.
★ Localized to two languages (Russian and English, depending on your phone's OS language)
☞ Note:
You will be charged for a standard text message according to your current mobile phone plan.
It is a new version. Please, do not hesitate to report bugs!

How do I log out of the app? I would also like my cable provider logged out.
I made an account with an email different than the one I use for my cable provider (I share the cable bill and my friend pays through his email which I would need to log in to use the cable provider). Will that affect the DVR recordings?

i am almost sure most major canadian channels do... i can login with my tv provider to see "ctv go" which provides the canadian ctv channels... tsn and sportsnet do this as well... in fact one provider here named "shaw tv" uses the exact same app as xfinity... the difference being its canadian channels... let me know exactly what you need... i can likely help you out
Any plans to implement PiP or split screen viewing?
If you go to any of the canadian television broadcaster websites, and click the "watch now" or "watch live" button, you'll be taken to their login page where you can enter your cable/ satellite credentials. The major networks are CTV, Global, CityTv (and CBC, which has an alternate credential system). The major cable channels also use the same credential system - Sportsnet and TSN are two examples for sports. If you could adapt the app to work with that system, it would no doubt be incredibly popular among Canadians!
Help with my FitzyTV
Hi Fitzy,
Well, I really want to like you. I even bought a firetv stick (I've been a roku guy for years). I often babysit my granddaughter away from my home and they only have wifi, no pay TV. So I thought I'd take my spectrum cable with me via fitzytv and a firetv stick. I had it working the first day about a week ago, but since then, it take atleast 5 minutes to boot up and then it won't load channels but shows the channel guide. Is it possible that spectrum blocks my transmission since I'm not on my wifi?

Use the apk "coronatracker.14-02-20.V1.5-code-6-release.apk" downloadable in the 2nd post.
Please add landscape screen orientation support, for tablets can be nice.

Data crawled by priority from 3 sources WorldMeter > Arcgis.com API > Wikipedia
WorldMeter is good.
Arcgis.com API is late.
Wikipedia is fast but data struture is not stable.
I created mirrors API which auto crawl data from sources by 5 minutes, if source [1] datastructe is not OK I wll try to source[2],...
If all source datastructure is changed or down, my server's cache will not be updated.
All client request will be serve by my serve cache.to protect sources data from flooding.
You can create better application base on my API:
http://corona.hamatim.com:3000/map-report
http://corona.hamatim.com:3000/case-report
http://corona.hamatim.com:3000/chart-report
If there are other source I can add more to make it near realtime.

Cluster or heatmap is better. The current one looks cramped and very little data can be seen. Can you add ability to bookmark countries. Like if we are interested to track 3 or several countries of interest. I think new infection as well is necessary data.
And please the news feed from worldometer is really helpful.
