LG G3 Stylus (D690) Internal storage issue - Android General

Hey guys! This may be an old phone and maybe a late post. Posting because got an internal storage shortage issue. Anyone has any idea on how to increase internal storage? Aside of having a sd-card (which is recommended because of the said storage shortage issue)
As per review, it has 8gb of total internal storage but yet 4gb is available for usage and this can easily eat up on i dont know what's on it since all my files are on the external sd-card and most of the apps that can be move to sd-card are already moved. Updated to Android 5.0.2 OTA.
If anyone can help me with this shortage issue is highly appreciated.

[Q]Nexus S Storage Capacity

Hi guys,
sorry for my noob question but im really "NEW" to android and my nexus s, i was wondering if there is a way to increase the internal storage capacity of my nexus s. I learned that everytime that i would install an app it would install in the internal storage, but the nexus s only has 1GB internal storage right? and the USB storage is 13gb+ i think, i can transfer some apps to the USB storage. my problem is when the time comes that im already out of internal storage capacity. I believe not all apps can be moved to USB storage.
It will take hundreds of apps to fill that 1 GB internal memory.

[Q] How much internal storage is enough for Honeycomb

Hi, I have searched for this answer but can't find a guide so here goes...
I am looking at buying an Android 3.0 tablet, possibly the Asus Transformer, as it looks good for use on my travels.
When I bought an Ipad, internal memory was key(as its not expandable) so I bought as big as they did, however I am not clear on how Android 3 treats internal and external (SD) memory, and if its different.
Asus only seem to be releasing the 16 GB internal memory storage transformer in the UK first, and I am wondering is that enough ? or should I wait for the 32 GB internal version. I know they can take up to 32 GB SD card external memory, but can you install all your apps aswell as data there, and is it hot swappable ?
thanks for any help

[Q] Storage question

Friends, I wanted to ask if anyone knew of a way that I could use my external sd card as the primary storage rather than the stock 6gb that came with my phone.
I have a Droid x2, it comes with 4gb internal storage, 2gb locked app storage, and I put a 32gb micro sd into it for the external storage.
I am not rooted as of right now, due to some issues I was forced into doing a reset, so I running stock GB 2.3.4.
Is it possible to somehow use the 32gb card as a primary default storage, and have the little one as external?
Thanks for your time and assistance.

[Q] Anyones phone already broken because of flash memory?

Anyones phone already broke because of the very limited read/write operations of the internal flash memory? Especially talking to people that dont or cant use microsd in their phones.
Its easy to change microsd card if is broken. but when internal memory is dead, you can throw the whole device away.

Storage

Hey everyone I had a question. Does anyone have issues with lack of storage or is 16 or 32 enough? I'm wanting this phone but im wondering if the lack of SD card will be ok. Thanks everyone.
Space required is your personal preference.
its all up to your personal needs, i skipped n4 for the 32gig n5 and honestly i haven't used up anything more than 20gigs of my phone. Heavy gamer so i needed the space, also I do use my phone as an entertainment hub instead of a communication device, tones of songs and 4-5 movies fill up my phone.
16 wasn't enough for me. 32 may have been OK.
I have the 16GB and a Meenova USB OTG micro-SD card reader. Works nicely with Lollipop so far. (I have StickMount Pro; not sure if it's necessary but I bought it for KitKat.)
How much space does lollipop take up on the phone?

Click to collapse
It takes nothing out of storage. Storage refers to the /data partition. ROM sits in /system partition. They're fixed sizes so it.doesn't matter how.much lollipop takes up
If you genuinely want to.understand, you can go to sticky roll-up in my signature then look for the storage thread.
Ok will do, thanks a lot!
