Help fixing audio problems - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hello, im kinda new to developing and fixing bugs for new phones, i am trying to port a rom from the nubia z7 max(nx505j) to the nubia z7(nx506j) and i got most stuff working, except for the audio. Im using the original mixer_paths.xml in my build as most of the original audio policies. Where i am stumped is the audio_platform_info.xml, i cannot find this file in the stock rom, and the one from the nx505j device tree cannot help with the problem. Could any seasoned developer help with bringing up this file for a new device? Audio works in headphones, therefore its most likely a configuration issue getting it to work in speakers and microphones.

[Completed] Issues with video recording and playback on ported rom

So here's my problem, it's not anything serious or an emergency, but I would like someone to take a look:
I have an Acer Liquid E700 (mt6582) which came with Android 4.4.2, and since Acer doesn't seem to want to update it, I decided to look for a custom rom and port it to my device. I successfully did it and I now have CM 12.1 on my device and pretty much everything works.
I managed to squash some bugs like the sensors not working and such, and now there's only one thing bothering me: I can't record videos and video playback is faulty too (I tried to attach an image but I don't know if it appears).
So I wanted to know what files to copy from the stock rom to the ported rom to fix this, something in the /system/lib folder maybe?
So if anyone knows a thing or two about rom porting for MediaTek devices... Yeah I need some help here

Hi, and thank you for using XDA Assist
Unfortunally there isn't a specific thread for your device, but the best way to get an answer is to ask over here > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!

Audio Mods?

Has anyone tried the audio mods in the general android section? Specifically ARISE sound systems? (or any of the other ones?) I am kinda scared in installing one and it not working and then I would have to debug it. I kinda don't have the time for that. Does anyone successfully gotten them to work? I am currently on Sultan's latest CM rom
anyone?

Help in fixing bugs

I came across custom rom port for Intex Aqua star 2, and half successfully ported it to my own Spredtrum 7731 device, using stock rom as base.
The port works perfectly, except for the fact that it produces no sounds through the loudspeaker. Headphones are alright, no problem making and receiving calls, but no ringtones or any other sound that should be played through the back speaker.
I would appreciate some help figuring out what I have to replace from the Stock rom to the Custom rom in order to fix this...
(by the way, the same thing happens with any other custom rom I ported... no other problems apart from that...)
Thank you in advance.
P.S-I forgot to mention I have already tried replacing lib files including "libaudio" in the filename.
I also tried replacing lib/hw/audio.primary.default, which also made no difference...
Here is my logcat

Android kernel codec driver porting

I'm looking for someone who can fix an audio problem on my Samsung tab 8.9. this tablet has an outdated android version "3.2" and It's the Chinese model sch-739. I searched on XDA in the hopes of finding a custom rom that will give it some new life but found nothing for my specific model, however, I've found custom roms for the global model "gt-p7300" of the same table. I flashed them on my Chinese tab and they boot up and work good except for audio and a few minor issues. after digging into the audio problem, we found out that the audio codec driver " wm8994" does not load when flashing P7300 firmware on my china P739 tab. after further testing, it turned out to be a kernel issue because flashing "original" p739 kernel on p7300 firmware got the audio to work. we already contacted Samsung and they gave us kernel sources for P739. so the job is to port P739 audio drivers to p7300 kernel so that audio works on p7300 roms...my budget is set to 200 USD
