All you have to do is unzip copy to your sd card create a file called media and put the file in there and they will show up when you go to your settings

I've done this and they don't show up in my settings. Is there anything else I need to do? If I go to the files in file manager they all say unsupported file type when I attempt to play them. Both the ogg and mp3 files.

Not sure what the problem is, but I've downloaded this several times and not only will they not play on my Charge, they won't even play on 2 different PC's.
Giving up!
i came across these 2 post, and is there a program that lets my browse back ups, to extract the camera files. i am referring to these two posts
Hey.. I also had problems with the camera but found a fix on here. I got this to work on all asop ROMs but KK. You gotta take the system/camera data folder and also grab the data/SlimISP_PH.bin file from your stock TW ROM and overwrite the system/camera data folder in your asop ROM and ADD the file to data than reboot.
If you find that the camera does not work after flashing a asop ROM like I did.. Searching for a fix and at my Witt's end BAM.. Take the cameradata folder from your TW ROM and also there is a slimhp.bin in data extract those and save em to your SD card and when you flash your asop ROM take the camerdata TW folder and overwrite the asop one and than grab the slimhp.bin and add it to the asop data and reboot. Ahhhh thank god!
Been trying to modify my ROM so I get my own wallpaper in place of the default's. I looked in framework-res.apk, found the offending file and switched it for my own (there was only one copy of the stock wallpaper, in \drawable-sw720dp-nodpi\).
I flashed the ROM and the original stock picture came up.
Is there anywhere else it could be coming from? It'll have to be an .apk file, because there are no copies loose in the ROM itself.
Edit: Okay, it's all academic. Deleted all the wallpaper.apks, including the main program, and it's now working as intended.
how do I replace my actual system/app folder for a backup safely?
I want to make sure things won't go like this again, also sorry for the wall of text beforehand
My phone is the LG Optimus G AT&T and I'm using the stock 4.1.2 rom
I tried to install a status bar for a stock based ROM and a lock icon removal on my stock rom but it didn't work as expected. It messed up some things and the systemui kept notifying me that it stopped working every few seconds. The zip files I flashed supposedly installed a few files inside said folder but I'm not sure which files nor if it edited other files so I want to replace it completely to not have any problem. thing is, I'm not sure of how to proceed here, do I just wipe it with an explorer and then paste the back up there, or will that break my phone again? do I push the backup with adb command prompt after deleting the folder? Is there another option?
I'm not sure if this info is helpful at all but I thought you guys might need to take it into account, just in case
I'm also not sure of which category is the right one, since it's my first post in this forum, though I've been lurking around for quite a while
I tweaked the system apps a bit before screwing up, and deleted the AT&T bloatware that nobody uses, also replaced the stock launcher with nova as a system app. having only 1 launcher caused a huge mess after trying to fix things by replacing the contents the folder with a copy of the backed apps.
First I replaced all 4 files with the name "systemui.apk/odex" and "LGsystemui.apk/odex". then I tried to replace the whole folder by moving things and I accidentally checked the "apply this action for all files" option (or something along those lines) while overwriting them, which probably caused nova launcher to stop working and rebooted my phone automatically. then I spent 2 hours trying to figure out what was wrong with the phone because I couldn't do anything, just open the settings through the status bar and it turned out I had to reinstall nova launcher outside system by sending the apk to myself through email to not get in that mess again, and now I'm here, a little desperate to know what can I do to not screw my phone up.
Thank you
does anyone have original or or m9 m10 wallpapers, i deleted my originals from the /system/customize/resource folder
i tried to put other wallpaper in that draw but they have to be named wallpapers***.jpg i could not use windows to rename the wallpapers i wanted to use as char files cannot be used when renaming a file, the asterisks, i could restore my nand backup, but i do not want to lose a game level im playing, i was looking for abstract wallpapers, or like i said m9 m10 or anything interesting with the prefix wallpapers***.jpg so i can put them back plzzzzzz
