No. It's XT1254 and XT1225 have different FCC IDs, different radios.
You can cross flash stock XT1250 U.S. Moto Maxx & XT1254 Droid Turbo, as they are the same FCC ID.
You can cross flash stock Moto Maxx XT1225 and Moto Turbo XT1225 as they are the same FCC ID.
Even if you could cross flash stock XT254 firmware over your XT1225, your carrier Jio Sim uses LTE bands 3, 5, and 40. Droid Turbo XT1254 does not have LTE band 5 or 40. You would be limited to LTE band 3 only on your carrier. The XT1225 at least has LTE bands 3 and 5.
Plus, there's no guarantee even a real XT1254 Droid Turbo could get VoLTE on India Jio Sim, even on LTE band 3. It's Verizon's VoLTE the XT1254 is configured for, not another carrier. We can't even get VoLTE for the XT1254 with CM-based custom ROMs.
Over in the Droid Turbo forum are two "stock" XT1225 Brazilian based Marshmallow ROMS which can be flashed onto the Droid Turbo XT1254, but both use @bhb27 custom kernel, as well as CDMA prop build lines. They aren't pure stock.
____________
Here's the XT1225/XT1250 and XT1254 bands and FCC IDs:
The XT1225 and XT1254/XT1250 all share LTE bands 2, 3, 4, 7.
The XT1225 additionally has LTE band 5 and 17.

The XT1254/XT1250 instead has LTE band 13 (Verizon LTE band), plus CDMA bands. While it does have some HSPA bands, there's not as many as in the XT1225.

Hey Chazz,
Thanks for a quick & detailed reply.
Appreciate your work.
The only option left is an update from Moto.
Would request all the members in the forum to please send request to Moto to enable VOLTE feature for our phone.
One more question Chazz,
Does our phone has antenna for band 40 ?
I guess we have the hardware, is just not enabled by Moto.

Can I flash a GSM rom on a CDMA Moto G If I don't intend to use as a phone

Hello. I have a Moto G XT1031 (Moto G Boost Mobile version) which I currently have flashed with a the verizon stock rom (I used it on Page Plus). Its on Android 4.4 and I want to convert it into a DIY Google Home device which requires a later version of Android. I see that there is many roms with android 7 or 8 available for the GSM version of the Moto G but nothing for the Boost Mobile version. I was wondering if I can flash one of those GSM roms like LineageOS 14.1 and have it function. I don't need cellular connection, just wifi is sufficient. Thanks a lot.

Enabling lte band b7 and 4g+

Hi
In my country lte only supports b3 and b7 bands and 4g+ works on b3+b7 carrier aggregation .
as you can see in the links below rn7 pro supports b7 and 4g+ :
c.mi.com/thread-2449929-1-0.html
kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/Ir/redmi-note-7-pro
redmi note 7 pro supports b7 only in China pack , not Indian . My phone's package was Chinese but it came with bootloader unlocked and global rom was installed on it . my phone only supports b3 currently and I can't get 4g+ . (I checked available bands using network signal guru and some other apps )
I followed some guides and tried changing lte bc config in nv ram using qxdm to add b7 but it already had b7 in nv ram settings . So I thought this might be related to firmware or rom , as I was on global rom , so I flashed stock China rom , but nothing has changed . I'm sure my phone has hardware support for b7 , but I don't know what should I do to unlock it . I'm currently using miui11 global rom .
Please help me guys .
Thanks in advance .
did you tried stock china rom with fastboot or recovery?
the phone supports FDD-LTE B1 B2 B3 B4 B5 B7 B8 B20 B28 TDD-LTE B38 B40

yes , It's on lte . just 4g+ is not working , because b7 is locked on my phone .
Even device have good single bands support that doesn't mean it have good Carrier Aggregation support. That's why i have made website cacombos.com what list Carrier Aggregation supports and data is based from modem logs.
Could someone send to me modem log from Redmi Note 7 Pro? I don't have any data from this device so i can't verify Carrier Aggregation support. I have here instructions how you could get log file out: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g...tions-from-your-android-phone/#Xiaomi_devices
Then just send to me https://cacombos.com/contribute so i can add it to my website. I can now guess it support about same combinations as Redmi Note 7: https://cacombos.com/device?model=M1901F7G but without log i can't verify.
CA not support all Mi devices, cheating mi, but you unlocked band via qxdm

Most of Xiaomi devices support CA - i have over 30 device Xiaomi device database in cacombos.com confirmed CA support. Just problem is low and middle-cost devices support only CA used in China like 1+3, 3C, 40C and 41C.
If someone have this Redmi Note 7 Pro device, please send to me modem log file so i can add this device to my site. It's very easy from modem log but i just need that.

Motorola Moto G 5G, firmware change from XT2113-3 to XT2113-2?

Hi All,
This is probably my second or third post here at XDA but I have been working with custom ROMs for a few years now, mostly eOS.
My question is can I change the firmware of Motorola Moto G 5G (also know as Ace 5G), firmware change from XT2113-3 to XT2113-2?
The later has more bands and is better compatible with my provider Bell in Canada. So is the hardware of the two: XT2113-3 to XT2113-2 the same and the firmware controls the bands, anyone know?
TIA, jets
As far as I know, the -3 is a mediatek device and is incompatible with -2 ROMs.
