Did you do a full system wipe with the advanced wipe options to format your system and data partitions before flashing your ROM?

Boot to recovery, if you have TWRP, select the "wipe" option, then select "advanced wipe", then select your system partition and your data partition(do not select any other partition), then swipe the slider to wipe, then go back to main screen in TWRP and select "install" and flash your ROM like you normally would, after it flashes wipe cache and dalvik then reboot and see what happens.

What is the latest version of CWM?

Ive recently ran into a problem where every time I installed a rom my Wi-Fi doesn't work. No matter what do( wipe davlik, wipe cache, wipe device) nothing seems to work. Plus if I reboot in CWM it boots right back into cwm. I'm currently on v5.8.3.4

You need to do a factory reset, wipe Cache, and dalvik. Then flash the ROM. The Aroma Installer for the ROM also gives you the option to wipe cache and dalvik during the install. I do both. It doesn't hurt anything to do the double wipe.
Just make sure that you DO NOT chose the wipe data option on the opening screen of TRWP. You'll end up with a brick.

thanks
what do you mean by wipe in twrp launch
maybe you talk about wipe data in bootloader menu (with rck etc..)

That's correct. DO NOT SELECT WIPE DATA ON THE FIRST SCREEN OF TWRP RECOVERY.

[help]unfortunately, setting has stopped

Is what my nexus 5 says after doing a factory reset i am not sure what to do anymore and cant find any place for help i press ok but the pop up keeps coming. Is it a good idea to reflash amdroid?
Try clearing cache in recovery. If that doesn't work then your probably going to have to flash the factory images with fastboot
