Hi, can someone please help me for using equalizer with the stock music app
V4A is not processing any track when am on stock music player
I really love how the stock music player looks and functionality but however it lacks an equalizer or the sound quality it deserves.
I've noticed that it works on rare occasion on some specific mp3 contents only, then the system overrides it the next track.
Its been 2 week since am trying every night to make it work but nothing..really desperate now and require some help
Im using stock Marshmallow B571 updated using TWRP recovery tool and am rooted with SUPERSU 2.68
Music app version is 7.1.41 and V4A 2.3.4.0

i had the same issue but after trying for over a month i gave up , i settled with Noozxoide EIZO-rewire PRO" works just fine on my mate 7 on marshmallow B571, just install it then set it as a protected apps so that the OS does not force close it when it tries to free some ram

you need to set it up as protected apps so that the OS doesn't force close in the background, i attached screenshots of my settings to my post

Its working like viper , its an illusion...its does really work try about 10 songs in your playlist turning the effect and switching between the digital presets and youll see that it does not work on all songs

Music app version is V7.1.41
I put my stock music app back into my Mate 7 today. ViPER4Android does work with it fine.

thanks for ur post. i flashed it on rocket rom v3 xxls7. i didnt notice any difference. or is there any other of enabling it. btw i opened it in applications and enabled it. but no difference

It doesnt work with all the music players
Use google play music and enable in awesome beats app
This is not my work, but a personal editing that I did based on the mod created by AC! D TEAM; It works great on both Sammy rom and AOKP / AOSP.
If you want to try, of course, at your own risk (sorry, but I have to specify it).
Personally, I always use it and I am very satisfied.

Noozxoide is force closing... any way to slove it or uninstall????

lee's file in general section worked fine for me on rr v3 ls7
just make sure you have enough space in system before flashing it.
go to sounds- music effect enable it
then enable in app in app drawer , mine doesnt ask for upgrade though

I think it's a matter of free space in the system; however, I only use this package and has never given me problems ...: (
If you can not resolve, you may delete the cache of applications that conflict and then delete them manually ...

Hey, after flashing the AwesomeBEATSv3.zip
Go to Settings->Sound -> music effects -> select Awesome Beats
then in your app drawer go to awesome beats set settings as wanted
the best settings for me are
Speaker - Beats Boost - Enabled and Slight effect strength
- Beats Equalizer - enabled and preset to vocal booster
Headset - Dynamic Range Compression - Enabled and moderate
Beats Boost - Enabled and moderate
Beats Equalizer - Enabled and preset to bass booster and loudness compensation disabled
Headset virtual room effect - Enabled and room type to stage

I cant play music via any music player for 5 to 10 mins.. vibrates and force closes.. no way to fix or uninstall..
Disabled the noozoxide and nooz player in application manager but no use...
Please help me to get rid of this problem...

Deletes the cache of applications, then use a file manager and delete them (the applications) from "system\app"; reboot in recovery mode and delete cache/davilk cache.
I hope this helps, otherwise you should delete / restore all the dll...
But what rom are you using? I have never had any problem with the roms used...

Do not use it, probably that rom has integrated some other sound mods that is in conflict with this ...

Force closes on every music player I tried Stock, Google Play, and Walman app.
On RRv3 - Awesome Beats was made for RR so don't think its the ROM at fault.

Amazing Devs and guys,
I came across this from my P3113 and works both on and in my P6210. Just follow the instructions. I am not sure if it will work on others because I do not have them to try. Mind you, my P6210 has ICS4 stock ROOTED and NOT deodexed. I am running in with Only Dolby for movie and music playing and have no issues at the moment.

No, listening to music as is will NOT yeild result. Plug a headphone or plug it in a bigger system will give you satisfaction. At first I thought I wasted time installing it but now, I got selection on my volume section whether to use music FX or dolby. The sound it produces is amazing.
Could please share, how did you install it? Can i flash it in stock recovery or cwm only?

I did use CWM v6.0.1'0. My rom is stock 6210UELPC ICS 4.0.4. The instruction Is pretty straight forward using cwm. Do not reboot. Install the Samsung plugin using cwm. Make sure that both files are in your root sdcard. Another thing before you install, uninstall ALL forms of apk related to sound that is NOT native on the rom. After install, WIPE the Dalvic cache. Then reboot.
Note that if there is any form of music or volume apk NOT native of your rom will CAUSE a bootloop.

The installer is Aroma. Pretty straight forward instructions.
While i was fiddling with some apps through Titanium backup i deliberately wiped stock music player app. I do have a backup(done via Titanium Backup) of the same but i cannot restore it the way i backed it up. Can someone please help me to get the apk file of Samsung Stock music player app... ?
And also the method through which i can install or restore it in working condition ? Any help will be appreciated.
I really liked the sound customizations of stock music player app which is even greater in stock Samsung JB music player app. Someone help me get either ICS or JB Samsung stock music player app which should be compatible with my Galaxy R.

Delete odex file of music player app if exists.
Flash it in recovery. If it doesnt get installed then extract the apk file and install it like normal apk or push it to system/app/ and set permissions.

Use any root explorer (say solid explorer)
Go to root folder -> system -> app
there you will find MusicPlayer.odex file. delete it.

You just need to copy and paste the apk file from your sdcard to system/app folder.
here is about how you set permissions
In this case you need to set permissions as 0644 (-rw-r--r--)
P.S. Flashing the zip file i attached will do everything. Manual procedure is just incase if it doesnt work.
I flashed it through CWM although it plays the song but none of the sound effects are working... and the player itself keep crashing once in a while.
Are you also using the same version of that ? Is this compatible with our SGR?

Yes I am using the same. For me it crashes only when i press 'End' button in options. Else it works flawlessly. For you It is crashing oftenly may be because you didnt delete odex file! Equilizer doesnt works, it is a known bug. Visit this thread.
If you dont like this S3 music player. i can upload stock one also!
SGS3 music player is great. I was using it for a while on ICS.

I wanted that stock player for Equalizer only if it won't work then its of no use to me. I uses Galaxy Tab 2 which has the same music player as SGS3 and i really like its Equalizer very much but i can't use tab for my music needs everywhere, that's why i wanted it in my SGR.
Anyway could u please upload Stock Music player of Galaxy R ?

if you desperately need that music player only, then you need to reflash rom.
else you could also give a try to MiUi Music player. Equilizer works flawlessly and Music player is awesome.

Flashing the ROM is the last thing i'd do coz i'm too lazy to do all that backup and restoration thing. I'd try this Miui player.. thanks for that

it wasnt mentioned hence i took 2 logcats
1) during pushing file to system only (logcat1) (ignore following if this is sufficient)
2) first one followed by reboot (logcat2)

I have a Stock ROM Android 4.4.2, no root, updated from Samsung today. I noticed that the flashplayer is not working anymore. I did an uninstall and re-install, but isnt working anymore. On JB 4.3 Stock ROM it was working.
Anybody with a clue?

Install Dolphin Browser from Google Play, then open it.
Go to Settings / Web Content / Flash Player and set it to On-Demand

I followed all the steps in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548001
But the problem is my note 3 is not allowing me to click on the "install" button.
I have also ticked Setting>Security>Unknown sources.
Did you guys saw the same installation screen as attach image?

Yes must be installed.
Did you removed the previous flashplayer?
Warning: Make sure that you have uninstall the flash player installed in your device and then install the hacked one for compatibility reason.

Do you have any app related to screen adjuster or display settings running in background? If so disable it and try to install, apks cant be installed if any screen adjuster related apps are running.

I can confirm that after loading the apk I was able to get Flash running on 4.4.2 with stock rom and FlashFox Browser ..note this is not Firefox Browser

I have a Nexus 7 2013 on 4.4.2 and can play flash on flashfox browser, and have had it working in firefox. But the popup window has sound but is black with no picture, when I maximize from popup it plays fine. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

I dropped Dolphin ages ago because it stopped supporting Flash player. Are you say that they re-instated this support?
The only browser I know of that supports flash is Boat but now I'm wondering.

With the hacked flashplayer from surviveland Dolphin flash support is working.

Have you enabled unknown sources in settings>>security?
Which ROM are you using?
Is other apk installing properly?

I recently installed this music player in experience rom v7 and works fine but in every 2 mins or 3 mins while songs are playing there is a very minor glitch in sounds can you look into it and update me if there is any fix i really like this music player and you have done a very good job porting it to oneplus 3. Thanks in advance

I am not the original developer...
Please read the first post carefully.
There is link to original thread too.
But I will give u another idea,
Download the Music 9.3.3.A.0.3 apk from following link
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/sony-mobile-communications/walkman-music/
And rename it: music.apk
Now push it to system>>app
Process: Make a folder called 'music' inside 'system>>app' and paste the music.apk there. And don't forget to set the correct permissions(rwrr).
It is a very good music player, from sony. And its working properly here( stock OOS 4.0.1)
