The following steps will allow you to get the the full stock recovery menu, this may also work for other versions.
1. Power off the phone.
2. Hold down the "Volume Up" and "Power" buttons at the same time. As soon as the ASUS logo appears, release the buttons. The will bring you to the "Select Boot Mode:" screen.
3. Use the "Volume Up" key to navigate to [Recovery Mode] an use "Volume Down" to select.
4. The phone goes through a short loading and should bring you to this

5. From here, press and release the "Volume Up" and "Power" buttons again (you may have to hold them for a second or two) and you should be at the full android recovery screen. (Sorry, can't post a screen shot of this.)
From here you can; Reboot, Reboot to bootloader (fastboot), Aply update from ADB or SD card, Factory reset, Wipe cache, Backup and restore user data, Integrity check, Mount /System, View recovery logs, power off.
Maybe this will help move us towards unlocked bootloader, root, and twrp.
Can't progress
I was not able to go through step 5 and my phone just down.
Don't give up, it can be tricky to get into. Most of the time I can go straight into it but there are time I have to try four or five time before I go into it.
Remember, both "Vol up" and "Power" at the same time.

Since this is a factory Recovery, you are very limited on what you can accomplish with it. Unless your phone has root access, you would not be able to flash anything other than a factory update.

Stock recovery only reads the external sd card. Do NOT paste the firmware zip inside the internal storage. You have to use a microsd card instead. after selecting apply update from sd card then wait about 15 seconds.

o yeah i rooted and everithing ai have a custom room of modaco.. ic a screen with green letters
Nandroid isn't the recovery image. It's a utility that backs up and restores your phone. Now, you need to have flashed the custom recovery image. Download the clear lockscreen file and rename it to update.zip and place it in the root of your sd card. Then turn your phone off. Now, press and hold home, and hit the power button so the phone turns on and continue holding home until the recovery menu comes up. Then flash the update.zip and reboot.
same thing hah

Okay, here's the situation. I had the first version of the Skydragon 5.0 Lollipop ROM on my Verizon HTC One M8. I saw that there was a new version of Skydragon that had 5.0.1, so naturally, I wanted to update. I downloaded the ROM and flashed it through TWRP, which I already had installed. I rebooted, and the standard fastboot menu showed up without me pressing Volume Down and Power at the same time on my phone. I thought this was weird, because I didn't tell the pone to boot into any sort of menu, and the only options on the screen were HBOOT, RAMDUMP, REBOOT, REBOOT FASTBOOT, and POWER DOWN, as shown here:
{

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I selected the "reboot" option. I got rebooted into the same menu. I then selected "reboot fastboot" and the same thing happened. I then selected "hboot" and for a split second all of the normal options, including "recovery", appears, but I am unable to move the selection. Then it shows that there is an update and it asks me if I want to start the update, as shown here:
If I press the Volume Up button to update, this is what is shown after about five seconds or so:
If I press the Volume Down button to not update, this is what's shown:
Any way I try to do it, whenever it asks me to reboot, I get stuck in exactly the same situation with the same options and the same limitations, and I'm at a loss for what to do here. Can anybody help me? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Eject your SD card.. Boot to recovery (option will now work) . Once in recovery put SD card back in. Flash rom. And oh by the way, delete that 0P6BIMG.zip from your ext SD so you stop going nuts!

Thank you so much. I feel like such an idiot for not trying that earlier. but that totally fixed my issue! Thanks a million!
Hi guys,
So three days ago, I dropped my phone in water. I kept it off and didn't touch it for 3 days. Today, I realized there is no more moisture by the cameras and tried to turn it on. When I do, it gets to the screen that says "dm-verity verification failed...need to verify DRK first...". I did try and hit reboot system now, nothing, lopped back to this. I have really important pictures on here.I have a few questions:
1. Can i get the pictures off of here before I wipe?
2. What can i even do to fix this?
I was not rooting the phone or anything like that. I'm pretty much a noob and literally have no idea what to do. I really appreciate any help. it's the green international s6 edge
THANKS GUSY!

3.Ensure that your phone carries more than 70% of charge. And all your internal files will be wiped
STEP 1
1. Download magisk and force encryption remover in to sdcard plz don't let me explain about magsik it's what that give u root access and its the best one right now .Period.And I love magisk very much thank you for ad free YouTube and black theme .
Download latest magisk from this site -- https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445/amp/

8.When odin shows PASS u can remove cable and press Volume down + Power key to force reboot until u see black screen (If it boots then twrp will be gone u need to start the whole process again )Once it does, you need to let go of the Volume Down button and hold the Volume Up button while still pressing the other listed buttons. This will boot the phone into Recovery mode and you should now see TWRP. You will see TWRP no excuses.
9.Now is the best part if anything goes wrong you are literally Fished and I mean it. The screen will be for making TWRP permanent do these steps or your phone won't boot P.S. you can fix any Samsung phone very simply so don't worry
Do these --Select Keep /system RO. Tap Wipe> Format Data and type “yes”.
All what I said is there in screen so do these things perfectly u just need to read everything properly
10. Now go back to the main menu in TWRP and select Reboot> Recovery . Select don't install TWRP app it's annoying I know u can disable it in settings option in twrp
11. After rebooting recovery flash force encryption remover that u downloaded and then after Tap the Install button in TWRP, navigate to the location where you copied the the no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip and select it. Swipe the installation confirmation slider when prompted
12.Now go back to the main menu in TWRP and select Reboot> Recovery
13.When the device reboots into TWRP, tap the Install option, navigate to the Magisk-v15.3.zip and install it. Or the latest magisk zip file
Magisk will now be installed on your device and it will be rooted the next time you boot it up. If not installed download magisk manager and install APK when you boot up to system
When the flashing is complete, tap Reboot> system.
Congratulations! Your new Samsung Galaxy C7PRO is now out of warranty… err… rooted. Open Magisk to verify if your phone has been properly rooted or not.

Hi. This is a twrp installation guide for the IM-100, the last phone produced by Korean factory maker Pantech.

I will start with the completely pure itself that has not yet unlocked the bootloader.
1. Unlock the bootloader
1. Settings - System Information - Build number 5 times to activate developer option.
2. Enter developer options as shown in the picture below and activate OEM unlock.
3. After turning off the power, press the wheel key button and the power button at the same time to enter the boot menu, then press the wheel key to move to Fastboot and select it with the power button.
4. After entering Fastboot, connect to the computer, download the attached file from the link, decompress it in a convenient place, and run shell.bat.
5. Type "fastboot oem unlock" in the CMD.
6. Check the IM-100 screen, move to the same with the wheel key and select YES with the power key to unlock the bootloader. (reboots and resets automatically)
2. Install TWRP and the latest firmware binary.
1. After powering off IM-100, enter the boot menu with the power button + wheel button combination as before and enter recovery.
2. When the screen appears, press and hold the power button and turn the wheel key to release the lock, then rotate the wheel key to move to Apply update from ADB and select with the power key.
3. Afterwards, in the previous CMD window, enter "adb sideload IM-100S_BOOTSTACKS.zip" if your IM-100 device is a SKT device, "adb sideload IM-100K_BOOTSTACKS.zip" if it is a Kt device, or "adb sideload IM-100GN_BOOTSTACKS.zip" if it is a GN device.
4. When the installation is successful, go to Apply update from ADB again, select it with the power key, and enter the adb sideload twrp-3.4.0-0-ef71.zip command to install TWRP. (GN devices are supported from TWRP 3.5.2_9-0 version, so please install the corresponding TWRP link.)
5. After turning off the power, enter the power menu again and enter recovery, then the TWRP screen welcomes you.
6. This recovery does not support Pantech's data partition encryption, so data mount is not possible.
Therefore, when installing a custom rom, data partition format must be preceded.
Format the data partition through the Wipe-Format Data menu and proceed with the ROM installation.
In the case of ROM installation, I will not explain further because the method itself is common to most devices.
