I own a Vodafone Smart Tab 3G manufactured in South Africa by Vodacom and I am running stock firmware 3.4.67 and Android 4.4.2, unrooted and bootloader locked. I have tried to root it using all methods but none works. I have tried eroot, Framaroot, Towelroot, Kingoroot, OneClickRoot and many more. It seems my device is unsupported and unrootable, how can i successfully root it?

If you find a solution please do let me know.. same issue this side :/ no root method works. the only info ive found so far is that its a ZTE V71A and if i check this up it links to the vodafone smart tab 7, not 3g, so irratating! hope someone takes on a root solution soon

just use kingo root or srs root my Vodafone smart tab 3g has been rooted thanks to kingo root just try it....:good:
Update the stock firware first
I also struggled for a while until I updated my tab and used kingo root
I just got mine today. Kingo root worked like a breeze for me. :cyclops:

Mine keeps on rebooting thought rooting it would solve the problem but it didn't so can anyone help me???? PLEASE its been a month now.

Did you have rebooting problems before rooting or rooting made your that problem?
Have you tried to reset your tab?

What if any custom roms have you got for your device? im looking to get mine on to lollipop but cant find anything compatible

Have you found out a way of getting the tablet to communicate with the laptop? Im struggling with that, i tried to use usb drivers supposedly for the tab that i downloaded from a certain site but they still dont work.

download drivers from here

right click on my computer and click on manage.
click on device manager
find vodafone smart tab3g under other devices
right click and update driver software
browse my computer
let me pick
see all
have disk
browse
navigate to
C:\Program Files (x86)\ClockworkMod\Universal Adb Driver\usb_driver
or
C:\Program Files\ClockworkMod\Universal Adb Driver\usb_driver
select android_winusb.inf
select android adb interface
and then you are done
root with kingo root
recovery image attached for those if you who are intrested.
flash threw flashify I suppose

Nope the root method most probably but not the recovery.
For recovery do a search for CRT recovery or mtk recovery port. Its a automatic recovery porter for mediatek devices.

i have samsung g928f edge phone, phone get flashed successfully to latest version 6.0.1 but after giving DRK err, when try to root with kernel or any other root file frp doens't let it to get flashed the file phone only go to download and recovery mode tried also downgrading to 5.1 but due to frp lock i am unable to flash the phone did lots of tires to remove frp with different tool but no luck phone is usless now for me can't flash can't root how to get rid of this problem ? updated to 6.0.1 with odin smart switch but same drk problem comes up
help would be really appreciated

Hello ninjas! I felt like rooting my phone and started the process. For some reason OEM unlock option is no longer showing in developer options. I tried clearing settings cache to restart dev options and clearing cache from holding down vol up plus power etc. My model is Galaxy s6 g920v. Thanks for the help.

No root available at this time on Nougat 7.0

S6 Verizon comes with an locked bootloader. So there's no such thing as "OEM unlock". I think. Did you try new CF autoroot? If you success, tell me plz.
on the cf autoroot page it says most of these will brick your devices if you have a locked bootloader (probably a fixable brick)

By the way, removing Reactivation lock didn't solve the problem. Download mode always returns with error 'Secure check fail (recovery)

How did you remove the reactivation lock? Did you unlock the boot loader?
Hi. Anyone. Please help me please.
I installed a custom recovery and rooted my friend's j7 Prime, and everything went good.
now, the next day, his phone will not boot because of "Custom binary blocked by FRP lock".
I can only imagine that he flip the Oem switch at the developer options, and now his phone won't boot.
I am searching for a week now for the solution to found out that the only solution is to reflash the stock ROM via ODIN.
but the problem is: I CANNOT FIND MY FIRMWARE.!!
I am searching the firmware for 2 days now, I really cant find the right
firmware for the phone. please help me please.
I am from the Philippines and I need the firmware for all networks since the phone is open line.

Try this one combinefile.com<<index.php?a=downloads&b=folder&id=19962 I've tested it a couple of times 100% working I use Odin to flash it. My phone is Galaxy J7 Prime SM-G610Y Baseband: G610YZTU2ARJ3. I'm also from PH am sure it will work on you guys :fingers-crossed:
Note: Use https and replace << with / to go into that link or just search the baseband in google and look for the combinefile website.
