Hi, im spanish and i don't speack english very good...
I have a Orange SIM, that works good on a galaxy mini... But now i put the sim in a galaxy S3, i put the Sim code (0000) and when i want to call someone, i get this error ''Not registred on network''... Maybe its problem of the IMEI, because i download a app, and they show me a different IMEI than the IMEI i found under the battery!
I tried to install kernel and modem zip, but nothing works!
Can anyone help me pls? <3

Greetings and welcome to assist. You are correct the IMEI number should match if it doesn't then something is wrong. If you bought the phone second hand I would try and return it, if not try using kies emergency firmware rescue and see if that corrects your IMEI
Good Luck

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and when I try one click root apps it does not work. It keeps saying that root failed. I tried nearly 15 to 20 one click root apps.I was previously rooted but somehow my phone got unrooted for some reason. I tried to use my computer but it also does not work. I think that some file was deleted but I don't know. So is there anyway to fix this? My device model number is gt-i9505.

Some tools like CF Auto Root should work better.
Hi,
Bought an international Exynos S7 G930F from Ebay for use with ATT in the US. Rooted, flashed a few roms, then decided to transfer my SIM from my Note 5 to the S7. When I put the ATT sim in, the S7 did not recognize that the sim had been placed in. Even when there is no SIM, my Note 5 still shows a cellular connection and just says EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY. On the S7 I just have a NO SERVICE.
IMEI and IMEISV both read Unknown.
Baseband Version is Unknown.
I've tried flashing stock roms with Odin multiple times, no luck. I even tried using Kies to recover, it asked me for my device model number and serial number, put S7 into download mode, flashed rom and still no IMEI or Baseband. Tried multiple modems also, still no luck.
Any idea what the problem is or how I can fix this?
Thanks for any suggestions!
Hey bud. I have a SM-G930F as well with the same problem. You most likely bought it with a corrupt efs. I'll keep you in touch if I find a solution.
Sent from my SM-G925A using XDA-Developers mobile app
If you didn't have a backup of your efs folder, you'll need a tool that can write a new imei number to your phone

There is a way to repair but requires the 930f engineer binary firmware i believe. Untill that pops up your stuck.
Ecera knows whats needed maybe he can fill you in. Hope something shows up soon.
tapped on #datbombv7EchoeRom
same problem here after 160 hours of usage get " emergency call only " only solution airplane mode on and off this is embarrassing from Samsung I have seen many users complaining but no fix for sm930f

I have replied. Sounds like the device is blocked or a hardware fault. You could try flashing this factory firmware but I'm not sure if will work

I want to give a special shout out to @CuBz90. He spent a good amount of time helping me out with my IMEI. Because of him I was able to recover my IMEI and don't have to sell my phone for scrap anymore. So thanks again and hopefully that factory binary can help someone else out.

How was your phone fixed if you could share the procedure as Cubz is busy and can't help anymore. I am stuck with unknown imei and tried both his methods but Odin fails every time. Hope you could reply.
Hi. I had flashed CyanogenMod but I returned to stock with Smartphone Flash Tool, and my IMEI is still there, however my SIM is not being detected, and my IMEI SV is invalid.

There is very little information on your device unfortunately. If you have factory reset and returned to stock there isn't much else to try unfortunately apart from a service centre who might be able to repair your imei
Hope you manage to fix it

No, not yet. And when i start up the phone, and all it does is show a black screen with a samsung logo and stays that way.
Try entering recovery (Vol up+Home+Power), see if it says there on the bottom something like DM Verity failed.
If it does and the phone was rooted before (Knox something else than 00 in DL mode), just flash CF autoroot for your model, or some other kernel for your model, you can find it here or google it.
If it does and phone is stock (Knox 00), I would try Authorised Samsung repair shop, and ask them to fix it in warranty.
Thank you I have recently fix my phone. Thanks for everyone's help.

Download this file it's kinda big because it's a stock firmware. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AtUOJHO1Ks7cgTeMnlD2_XOPr1xT and there should be 4 files in it and you put these files into Odin. And in the beginning of the file names should be like AP,BL,CP and CSC. Once you put the right files in the right place click start and it should fix the problem.

I'm actually in the same boat, well not exactly the same, but I need to flash my global version to the Chinese version and have had 0 luck finding it anywhere so far. If anyone has managed to find a Chinese Rom or has one and would be willing to share please let me know. Thanks!
