Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 (SM-T330NU, Region XAC)
Odin version: 3.09
Root file: CF-Auto-Root-milletwifiue-milletwifiue-smt330nu.tar.md5
First, I did a factory reset from Settings>General>Backup and reset>Factory data reset. Before this, I had developer mode enabled and the "allow USB debugging" option checked, but I forgot to redo these steps after factory resetting.
Then I proceeded to root it and everything went as normal, I've been using it for a few days now and I actually only just realized that I had forgotten to enable USB debugging mode before rooting. So now I go to the settings of my already-rooted tablet, developer mode is of course disabled so I enable it, I see that the USB debugging checkbox is unticked so I tick that.
How come the rooting didn't go horribly wrong and brick my tablet as it seems to have for most other people?
So far I've been removing bloatware, using screen mirroring, browsing, managing files, using SuperUser, installing and using a bunch of apps from the Play store, and everything works perfectly. But I'm thinking about re-rooting with all the proper steps; I've never made this mistake before and if I leave it as it is, what kind of problems might I run into later?

Hey there!
I've got a brand new SGS2 and I've installed a few apps on it, rooted it this morning after the installations and now, for some reason, I can't seem to update some of the apps I downloaded.
Whenever I try, it downloads the update and clicking on it says the app is not installed.
Luckily, the default apps have no problem.
Is this a common problem or did I screw something up during root?
(I do remember Odin or something had a button that allowed installation of apps or something, but I did not click it, was that needed?)
EDIT:
The button in question is in SuperOneClick and it says: "Allow Non-Market apps".
I hooked up my phone, tried clicking on it and the program hangs.
Tried it in download and Recovery mode, still hangs.
I have it on admin mode but it still doesn't work...
What can I do, please!?
(I posted this here as I did not see any support section, if I missed it, please move it over there, thanks and sorry!)
Realized the damn thing kept crashing because I kept forgetting to enable the USB Debugging mode, clicked the allow non-market apps and the process ran smoothly.
restarted the device (I've got a yellow triangle with an exclamation point on the first screen on boot, is that bad?)
Turned off debugging and it's still a no go!
I'm out of ideas, PLEASE HELP!!!
Hi
I have problem with backing up my SGS 6 via Smart Switch program. Smart switch won´t make backup without some permission. Every time I try to make backup this message appears : "To complete the backup using Smart Switch you need to temporarily allow some permissions. Allow the permissions on the connected device". But whatever I do is not helping. I dont want to make factory reset just for that because I got MM update today and don´t have time for that .
Does anyone else have problem, everything was OK on Lollipop but with Marshmallow I cant backup my phone.

You've to tick permission at your phone setting if you are running mm

Can you please tell me what permission I have to tick for that to work again. I looked in app permission in my SGS 6 but I cant find anything important to tick. I didn˙t disable any system app just chrome and facebook. I cant find what is causing that problem but I dont have time for factory reset once again
When you connect to smart switch and hit backup button, there should notification pop up on your phone

The notification doesn't come up no matter what you do. The problem is when you try to back up applications. Untick apps and your back up should work.
It seems like it is trying to pause or stop the applications and failing.

Whatever I do does not help. I tried different USB settings, reinstalled Smart Switch and Samsung drivers, deleting temp. data on PC, enabled all disabled apps, gave permission to everything in settings, changed backup settings and still says that it needs some permission and I dont know what to do anymore .
I found on other forums that factory reset solves this permission problem but I dont have time for that after I installed MM update and did factory reset yesterday and until now Smart Switch never gave me any trouble
So today I really messed up by flashing firmware on my GS7 (SM-G930P) and now it will boot up, and everything, but only will stay on for a minute or two before turning off and rebooting. And to make things worse, I flashed it, and now because of the very first start up menu, I dont have enough time to finish the menu, go into the settings, and enable USB Debugging. So my question is, is how would I enable USB Debugging alternatively to in the normal settings? I have no warranty on the phone, so I cant send it back, and am just averagely experienced with odin and using a command propt.
Hi there,
Please take a close look at this previous response from my colleague sawdoctor:

Hi,
So I have decided to give new life to my old XT1225 by updating the ROM to the latest version (it has a RR 5.8.3), but somehow I made a mess of it.
The USB port does not work for a long time now (hw). I always charge it using a qi charger, and only transfer files via wifi.
I have reset to factory defaults using TWRP, and that is when I realized I didn't have the latest version of it.
So I tried to update TWRP from itself, but something went wrong and now I cannot boot into recovery mode.
So I thought: No problem. I can use Flashify to get my TWRP back. That is when I realized I don't have root access. Somehow the option for enabling root (Root access) is not in the developer options, and the next option (Manage root access) is greyed out.
So I cannot flash anything because with no USB I can't run adb or fastboot.
If I try to reset to factory defaults from android, it doesn't do anything (maybe because there is no recovery?).
I can't boot into recovery, so no way to install Magisk, SuperSU or something like that.
Right now I have an outdated non-rooted device.
Does anybody see a way out of this? Either flash a recovery without root and without USB port or restore root would solve it...
Thanks
Not sure how it may help, but I can get to connect adb over wifi and open adb shell.
But, of course, fastboot cannot connect over wifi, so no flashing...
These phones are getting dated. There are services on ebay for professional charge port replacement if you want to keep it alive. I had a good experience with this one. Phone came back good as new.

A week or 2 ago I got myself caught up into a bootloop, and I've been trying to fix it. Tried the volume down + power button, tried letting it die, tried the reboot from recovery mode, tried wiping cache, and tried to get the battery taken out and put back in, but Best Buy lied about doing that
I've went here for a guide on Odin but one of parts says I need to have USB debugging enabled, but I never had it on before and obviously can't turn it on now. Is there any other options I could do if I can't get around the USB debugging thing? (And for the record, this is the first time of me doing this so I completely have no knowledge)
Usually, to completely reinstall the firmware via odin, no action is required with the system. There is a low-level formatting and a clean installation of the system. The only requirement is that the firmware must be official if the bootloader is closed (checks the digital signature). After installing the update, you will need to log into the Google account to which the device was linked.
