Hey, could someone upload mixer files for me? I have a P9 Lite and I recently enabled both speakers for media, so I tought I should look into the Mate 9 files to see how they enhance the sound. There are several files and folders on my phone in /system/etc/audio. I need the folder with all audio files and folders or the one with mixer at least.

is there a way to;
A) change the actual volume of the alert (I know about turning vol up/down) but what I want here is a louder alert when I recieve a message.
B) can I download new wav files to add to the default ones with myxda2i?
B1) if the above is answered yes, can you advise how I install them please?
Thanks
Pete
I would like to add to this.
I have downloaded .wav files and copied them into the windows directory, but when I go to listen to them in the sounds and notifications section they don't play, this has happened to all .wav files apart from one so far.
Look for the Nokia sms sound file uploaded somewhere in this forum. it works on my imate pocket pc and is loud.

I've also noticed that many wav files are some how encoded in mp3. So they have a file ext of .wav but ppc will only play pure wav files. If you switch the file ext on the wav's that do not play to .mp3 they will sudenly play in windows media player. this will tel you that it is not pure wav encoding.
if you choose properies of the wav file on the pc
it should ms ad pcm as format then it's a pure bred
puls modulated media
Here is my problem: I am trying to add some WAV files(lossless audio setting) to Zune via a direct copy of the files from an SD card to my PC. The audio files are from a CD that I own and ripped in that particular format. I have instructed Zune to look to a specific folder on the PC for music(the one that contains all of my audio files I would like to transfer to my WP7 device). Zune doesn't see these newly added files(older music files are there as well) and I am at a dead end in what to do to get them onto my phone. Any help is greatly appreciated. FYI-when I try to "Play with Zune" from a right click on the mouse, they won't play in Zune. When I try the same thing with WMP, it plays in WMP...go figure! I would just love to be able to drag and drop to add files to my Focus! Help?!

I would say, Zune doesn't support .wav extension. I recommend to convert it to .mp4 or .wma. Recommend to use some pro editor like Goldwave. Depend on you, but yeah, Zune does not support .wav
I just figured that out after staring at the file association page in the Zune setting. They need to support their own files!

Not a completely bad thing. WMA lossless does sound pretty darn good, sadly though I don't think any "Phone" has the sound processing to let the files sound their best. If you want some damn good audio quality, the Zune HD was pretty much king as far as a SMP.
Hi
I learnt that Mango supports the wma lossless as mentioned in the thread below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1221284&highlight=lossless
Is that true? Anyone tried?
My act was to drag converted wma lossless with mass storage enabler before mango. However the prob was the tags were wiped off
Would be great if Zune 4.8 supports wma ll
Hoping someone can help me get my head around using these .nomedia files for audio in ICS - I have a bunch of ringtones etc. sitting in the media/audio/.. folders with a .nomedia file at the top level so these audio files don't show up in my music player, but by having that file there, I can no longer set them as my ringtone/alarm/notification. How can I have audio files show up in the sound choosers, but not the music app?

I'm not sure if this will be applicable to you. In my phone, all the ringtones are stored in the folder /sdcard/ringtones and these ringtones won't get read by the music app that I'm using, which my case is Google's Music Player. My songs are all stored in the folder /sdcard/music, the songs in it show up in the music app.
Thanks wlteh, I'll give that a try and see how it goes I'd read somewhere that additional ringtones were supposed to go in the /sdcard/media/audio/.. folder, but maybe that changed with ICS?
Do you have separate folders for ringtones, alarms, notifications in the /sdcard/ringtones folder?
Ciao,
i've found and solve a ringtones issue on tuttoandroid.net forum, so i want to share this with anyone;
NOTE: despite the old nexus4, the nexus 5 does not like mp3 files; copy in the folder RINGTONES/ALARMS only .ogg files if you don't want to lose 1/10 call!
You can check this issue by copying an mp3 file and trying to tapping continously on preview in the list of ringtones to ear: mp3 will fail preview sometimes, despite .ogg files won't ever fail.
Try to convert your mp3 --> .ogg online of by some audio-converter
I hope give you help with anyone Bye Bye

Hi ... I notice all my music / audio files are all in one place . If I open the Files folder and select Audio everything that is audio is listed, its nice and all but when I want to just listen to music I also get audio files which aren't music playing too. Is there application or program I can install which will separate music from plain audio files ? I know I can create a play list but I'm just curious if there a program I can use to do such? Thanks
using 3rd party music players like black player or poweramp have the option to filter songs from size or length

Soo put your audio files in a separate folder .
(Ex: Let it be like this "Folder" - "My-Audios) .. Move all the audio recordings to My-Audios folder . now open the same folder and create a new file and rename it to .nomedia (no capslock) ..)
Once done , all the audios in the folder won't be listed in any music player .
When u need them , open the folder and play each manually from file explorer . it's better to use Es file Explorer

This is what I thought I could do but it isn't the case . I already have my music with folder from the artist but once I try using their player all my music and audio files show up and I don't even see these folder, its all in one

Then 3rd party music players are what you need. The ones with the option to filter out other audio formats.

Yeah, but u should create a .nomedia file in the audios (an empty text file with .nomedia as name : dot nomedia) ... Later ur audio files will not show up in music player .
Poweramp has a different kind of sorting ,where u can filter to now show up which is less than 500kb ,1mb, 2mb soo on . u can try this too
