Suddenly I'm getting soft reboots although I didn't charge anything. Any ideas why?

Pretty hard to identify. Undervolt, buggy rom, buggy app...
AFAIR logcat and dmesg can help devs.

What are the symptoms of a broken power button?

Your device is rebooting again and again, whatever you are in the recovery, fastboot mode or on Android.

no, those are not my symptoms...
in the meantime, I took a logcat, and at the time of soft reboot I noticed some messages about the iptables being locked. Then I remembered that everytime when it rebooted prior to that I had first wifi stopped responding and radio data too. Then it occured to me that this whole issue started at the same time when I messed with options in android firewall when I enabled LAN support. I disabled that now and I also uninstalled kernel audiotor just in case if some undervolting bug occured, then regularly rebooted and I'm closely watching the phone now

I can confirm that was the issue.

Huge Issue with Google Keyboard

I just flashed CyanogenMod last night, and apparently the Google Keyboard is very battery-hungry.
Here's what I mean:

This is very annoying and I need to have it fixed in ~6 hours.
Does anybody have an idea what this could be caused by, or how I could fix it?
Thanks in advance.
sheet happens. reboot your phone and it'll probably be alright. sometimes process get stuck and reboots usually fix them.

turn of vibration while texting
After a few days of playing around with settings I got it fixed. It seems to have been the vibration setting. Thanks everybody!

Phone keeping itself awake - airplane mode, data off, wifi off

Can nyone help me out with why this happens, only sometimes??
This time it looks like the main culprit is the kernel, but i have no idea: how id fix it, why its only sometimes, what else i oculd do to prevent it. i have even de-greenified google play services and google services framework as they never seem to stay hibernated. Yet this still happened, again....
i also noticed hsic was kept awake for a while, but since im not sure what it is, maybe that is normal...
help??
If it was always draining like that every night, id say maybe its time for a new battery... but it only happens once every few weeks, at most.
it was in the upper 80s last night percent wise. all things in the regular battery usage screen looked normal with screen showing the most usage...

Which phone is it? Go through the apps you installed just before it started and try uninstalling them one-by-one and see if the problem still persists, this helps eliminate those apps. Other than that, factory reset? Probably not what you wanted to hear but that will 99% of the time fix the issue.

What the heck is this?

I just got my phone back from warranty, so it's freshly reset and this popped up randomly. Well I must have done something that summoned it but I'm not sure. I was just playing COC and tapping the screen as usual then this. Anyone know. Bringing up recent apps showed nothing.

You sure it's not an app you installed. There are some apps that can have that.
Assuming it's not a 3rd part app, can you check the firmware/android version of your phone?

Thanks. Never mind. Figured out its Es file explorer. Sneaky little app.

Pixel 2XL Stopeed working, System UI is not responding, not even unlock phone.

At day before yesterday my Pixel 2 XL while watching a movie just said System UI is not responding, close the app and it just went to the Lock Screen and keeps bling the screen slowly. Even tried to unlocked with fingerprint or power button for PIN. But it don't work.
After a while it restarts automatically and goes to Android Recovery mode showing:
Cannot load Android system. Your Data may be corrupt....
Try Again
Factory data reset.

Then if I chose Try again it goes to same screen flashing of Lock Screen.
So far I tried, manually rebooting phone, doesn't work. Tried Safe Mode, doesn't work. Tried sideloading with adb doesn't work, tried wide data and factory reset with data and app setting restore, doesn't work. Then tried Factory Reset with no restore of data and settings then it worked and ran smootly.
But after a day, yesterday the problem started again.
Now what to do, how to resolve it, and anybody facing the same issue?

Random issues are hard to analyze.
Maybe the USB connector is dirty/wet. Maybe buttons are sticky. Maybe it is a hardware defect.
Best to post more information (BTW I can see no picture). Hopefully someone can help having a little bit more details.

buttons and charging point looks fine to me. just keeps restarting to this screen. if I go into bootloader and select factory reset the phone just vibrates once then come back to this screen.
