Hello,
i've got Asus T100TA and I have both Windows and Android on that device. Already its Console OS, beacause it can run most of apps (ARM translation), but I can't install gapps on Console OS. I have tried a lot of ways to achieve that. I have manually copied gapps files to /system or use apks that download and install all files, finally i tried apps like flash gordon or flashify to flash it without recovery but all methods didnt work. Also tried to install android x86 but ARM apps didnt worked, even when tried add libhoudini. Could you give me some advice how to achieve that Android with gapps and ARM support?
I just figured out that in Marshmallow Android x86 in settings is option "Apps compatibility", i've seen it before but it didnt work. I've turn slider on , make reboot and now its working, but im curious what i need to do to install gapps in console OS

It is easily possible to install Ubuntu, Backtrack or another Linux Distri with the App Complete Linux Installer form Play Store. The App is also a guide, so its very easy.

Do you know how the os installaton works on tablets with intel atom or core m? Can I just download windows/ubuntu and install it form a bootable USB like on laptops or do I need special ROM for that device like regular android phones?

If you have access to fastboot mode (Google it if you don't know how to open it), you can install the official Ubuntu ROM using this method:
How to install Ubuntu Touch on your Android phone or tablet
Or check this official instructions: Installing Ubuntu for devices
But, there's no Windows OS for Android devices.
However there are certain custom ROMs which gives Windows 8 like interface. Search and find those ones compatible for your device.
Else, you can install launchers that give UI like Windows 8 from Play Store.
Hope this helped
Hi,
I am new in the Android world and I want to know if they are any ways to automate deployment of rom.
Let me explain :
I have 5 asus Z380KL, I have configured 1 tablet with all app, settings (android and apps), account... and I want to know, if they are any ways to completly backup this android and deploy to 4 another tablet, WITH ANDROID SYSTEM settings, app settings, account. I've tried TWRP complete backup, but the img is not recognized by other tablet (with chmod 755 like I see in another thread). I've tried Titanium Backup in pro mod but android system settings and some app are not backuped (and Yes, the tablet is rooted).
Actually, I have 5 tablets, but in some days, I could get 60. And I don't want to take many times to deploy each tablet with all configuration.
So, is there a possibility, with fastboot and adb shell and others things, without touching the tablet (only to boot in bootloader) to install/flash/backup each tablet. Only in command line ?
And what is for you the best/fatest way to accomplished that ? I have to create my custom ROM based on cyanogenmod or offical rom ? (If yes, can I add gapps, and others apps with config and android system conf and already account configured ?).
The best way for me is to branch the tablet, boot in bootloader, and launch script on my computer to install completly (with android system settings and app settings) the tablet, and loop for each tablet.
Have a nice day
I may be getting a micro-pc with no OS on it at all. I was thinking I would like to install Android on it as the operating system. I want to run Kodi to manage my media and then some emulators and Arcbrowser. I will also need to run something like file x-plore.
Is this possible or should I look at installing Linux first then Andriod?
Hi guys. I'm new on this forum. I have Piranha Intel Tablet 7001. I bought it 6 years ago. It has 4.4.2 as you see. With this because of old OS it's not open some major apps. When I try to open any app which has latest version in my tablet, I'm facing with "Unfortunately, .... stop working". After that I decided to change OS. Firstly I tried to install this roms via my pc with adb sideload and fastboot but It didn't work. After that I tried to change bootloader and recovery to make this process easier but I can't do it again. Many many times after I saw an archive file in this forum. It was temporary recovery for Intel tablets (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/intel-android-devices-root-temp-recovery-session.2975096/). Still I'm trying installing but in all roms I decided to install I'm facing with E: Error executing updater binary in zip "externad_sd/..." problem. I don't think this problem from TWRP or CWM because I can install some scritps and modules like SuperSU, BusyBox etc. .Then I want any rom link which is suitable for my tablet (I want android 6.0 or more) because I really fed up after trying 100+ roms for my device.
