Lg g4 AT&T H810 stock firmware - AT&T LG G4

I have an at&t lg g4 on android 5.1 lollipop. the software version is H81010i and build number is LMY47D. I am trying to update it to marshmallow but it says 'software is up to date' i tried updating it manually but that requires version H81010o. I have searched on the forum and version H81010o is an upgrade over H81010i. My phone is not rooted. Is there any way i can flash stock firmware using kdz method as mentioned in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/g...k-kdz-t3107848
I dont want to brick my phone so plz suggest a working solution for me. Thanks.

[Q] Stuck on V10d

Hi guys,
I have a bit of a problem with my optimus 3d, ive had allsorts or roms installed, custom and stock and i have reflashed back to stock 10d using the binary file and lg flash tool, no problems there, however now ota update and lg update program are telling me I have the latest version! I'm pretty sure 10K is the latest version but my phone is having none of it. The last rom i had was the leaked GB rom and yes i have reflashed the froyo baseband when i went back to 10d. Any ideas why my phone cant see any updates?
Thanks
P.S. My phone is and unlocked Euro open version
If you have EuroOpen version of phone latest firmware is v10d.
You can flash v10k using kdz method in my sugnature.
Thanks for that mate, i'm glad someone knows what the most current firmware is, i'll probably just wait for gingerbread and get it ota when it's released
V10k Was latest EuroOpen, but LG deleted it from server.
Let me guess... LG deleted it with no explanation as to why?
I don't know In many countries v10k is the latest firmware.
And P920 is removed from the list in LGMOBILE support tool in the EuroOpen tab.

[Q] OTA update Available but not able to update due to rooting.

Hello,
New Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA update for D838-HKG sets is available. But everything time i try to update it gives an error, says, suspect of rooting and Update service is not available for rooted device.
I have unroot my device even after it is giving similer error. Please help to update device.
because you already rooted it once. unrooting with su app. will not going to change that. if you want flash d838 lollipop update via lg offline flash tool 2014. look for a kdz and flash it that will update your phone to lollipop.
bartdotnet is right. I had the same problem too, and installed the update thru the LG offline flash tool
the most recent KDZ version is v20a (for my phone D838 HKG), and you can download it from http://lg-phone-firmware.com/ (it's about 1.2gb in size)
search for a tutorial on using the flash tool, and you're done!
android version in v20a is 5.0.1, and the battery life is worse than before, so think twice before taking the plunge

LG LS770: Should I update to ZV8?

Hello,
I have a Boost LG G Stylo that's running Android 6.0, the software version is ZV7, should I install the ZV8 update, or stay on the current version.
The update size is 206.8.

Might as well update. It is only a security update. Then there is ZV9 it i a security update also, same advice. The only reason not to upgrade is if you were back at Lollipop 5.1, and that is that you could root 5.1, you can't root anything from Android 6 and up, the locked bootloader from boost/sprint/virgin mobile keeps us from rooting.
I updated my Stylo to ZV8, there's no discernible difference between it and ZV7. Just security policy updates and such I imagine.
I wish I were a more talented Android dev; if I had the skills I would put in the time and effort to do something about the locked bootloader, but alas I don't know where to begin. I've heard soft rooting on Marshmallow is possible with kingroot but I haven't tried.

Thanks for the info.
I tried the soft root a while ago using kingroot, it worked, but after I rebooted root access was lost, and it never worked again.
