Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N 9005 Regional Unlock - Europe

Hi maybe this is useful ...
I got a regional locked - Europe today. It is now on Android 4.3 - Baseband version AP: N9005XXUDMJ7 .
To unlock from regional unlock if you have a European SIM, pop it in and make a 5-minute+ phone call.
Then it will work like a charm. Pop the new SIM in from other region.
If you do not have a European SIM, then I have not found a way to root it yet.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I restore Factory Firmware if my Bootloader is locked?
Yes. However attempting to downgrade to an older version of Android may fail. Even with an unlocked Bootloader, downgrading cannot be guaranteed. It's also important to be aware that flashing the wrong Bootloader (motoboot.img) for your model can have serious consequences. Always establish your model of Moto E before flashing.
After flashing Firmware Image files phone gets stuck during boot-up | will not load Android?
Refer to the guide. Check you are naming the files correctly, and make sure you are flashing all of the 'sparsechunk' files - not just those mentioned in the tutorial. The 'sparsechunk' commands listed there are not to be copied exactly, different firmware images have different files.
Downgrading and OTA Updates
If you downgrade, it is advised to avoid all OTA Updates. These updates can result in a hard-brick (phone will not turn on) if you have a newer Bootloader than the one expected. For example, you have the Lollipop Bootloader, but have downgraded to Android KitKat.
How to Disable OTA Updates?
(1) Without Root access
It may be possible to do this via:
Settings > Apps > [swipe left to 'All'] > MotorolaOTA (or something similarly named) > Disable
(2) With Root access
Google Play Store has many apps that will allow you to 'freeze' the OTA Update service. Titanium Backup is a common example.
Alternatively, with a 'root access' file explorer, you can delete or rename the following files:
/system/etc/security/otacerts.zip
/system/priv-app/3c_ota/3c_ota.apk
These additional files can be removed or renamed: (If you still get an OTA Update notification)
/system/priv-app/3c_checkin/3c_checkin.apk
/system/priv-app/3c_devicemanagement/3c_devicemanagement.apk
/system/priv-app/3c_notification/3c_notification.apk

It's meant for model number XT1023. I can't comment on what would happen if you flashed it. You can risk it, or wait for the 4.4.3 XT1022 firmware image.

Do not flash US firmwares.
You will have problem in receiving signals due to different modems.
Global Single Sim Firmware will work well but you will get only 1 sim to use.
Global and US firmwares are different.

Background:
I've got a dual sim Indian variant of Moto E XT1022 and I use it it India.
Also, I'm using just 1 simcard as I've got another phone(the awesome gnexus) as my primary phone.
Question:
Just wondering, if it's safe to flash the us variant's 4.4.3 image.
I understand radio is different, but is there a way I can dump radio.img from my current 4.4.2 setup and then use it on 4.4.3?
Hope I make my question clear.

I dont think there is any change between single sim gsm phone to dual sim variant except for sim number ofcourse. But i am not sure about network. it shouldnt cause any other issues. But i dont see the need though. i mean, 4.4.3 will eventually come to dual sim variant anyway. so, why take risk? you could try i think. but no one will be responsible except you if phone bricks.
If you have both single/dual variants firmware, try comparing both with beyond compare. you might find out if its safe or not to flash.

I'm just wondering if anyone's tried this thing or if anyone can think of something that can go wrong if I do this.
I still am able to find out how to dump my radio. Doing a lot of search to find out how.
I'm sure I'll be the only one responsible if I brick my device. :good:
Thanks for your reply btw.

Galaxy S7 duos 4g/lte mhz???

Hi everybody.
I'm from Italy. In Italy we haven't got galaxy s7 in dual sim version, but i need it.
I can buy it outside Europe, through e-commerce. The problem is that the seller doesn't know the precise code of the model, he only knows that is dual sim and sim free. I would to know if there are different models of galaxy s7 duos sim free, and what are the 4g/lte frequency, to understand if it's compatible with italian sim operators.
Thank you.

There are 2 that i know of.
SM-G930FD - This is the "European" model, u can install Single Sim ROM and Dual sim will work ( faster updates from samsung )
SM-G9300 - Chinese / Vietnam version , no Google Play and some Chinese apps .
About bands, read on those 2 pages
Thank you a lot.
We waiting for other utents if they know other versions.
A question: what means "u can install Single Sim ROM and Dual sim will work"? Is it necessary to change ROM to use the telephone?

No, i just did it because mine came with CSC for Nigeria. I choose an rom for XEU ( UK/Ireland Unbranded ) because they receive updates faster then others, and is closer to me then Nigeria ^^
ok, i understand.

Cross-Flash Oreo or Pie firmwares for all LG G7, G7+ dual sim Thinq except t-mobile

Does not work with t-mobile! Sorry.
Hello!
Good news for everybody! The new LG-UP v 1.15.06 not only allows us to install Pie, but also Cross Flash between devices.
Example: I live in Europe - Romania and I wanted my language for my LG G7+ EAW. Unfortunatetly this model is for Hong Kong and does not support most of european languages. No problem with this new LGUP. I just crossflashed my LG G7+ 6Gb Ram, dual sim to LMG710 EM. Maybe I can unlock bootloader with a little help.
I also flashed 2 diffrent LG G710N korean firmwares. All working fine.
The only problem was with the Korean open firmware, not supporting sim network, but I reverted back and it worked.
Easy commands for this new LGUP v1.15.06
If using powershell from win10:
1. Install USB drivers and put G7 in download mode
2 Open powershell from C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP (shift + right mouse) and type cmd and hit enter.
3. Type this command: lgup_cmd.exe comX "C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\common\LGUP_Common.dll" "(path to your kdz firmware)"
Example: (if your phone is under com5 and your kdz is located in D:\ and has this name G710NO20c.kdz)
lgup_cmd.exe com5 "C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\common\LGUP_Common.dll" "D:\G710NO20c.kdz"

Hi Inerent.

In setting of your G7 after flashed N020c Korea have dual sim?
thx for you sharing.
BTW flash 710em can't to unlock bootloader when you was 710eaw

Yes, G710EAW and android pie korea 20c is working. But the version with bloatware works. The open does not work sim cards. Dual sim works also.

I am getting unbeleivable battery life with G710EM european firmware. Also no stutter or lag whatsoever. This phone is a rocket now.
I flashed Hungary open/unlocked firmware.
i was flash this Korea Pie, everything alright, but dual sim doesn't have to setting. On notifications have 2 sim, i can't change 2 sim, when i chose one the phone is turn off screen but can't change sim.
I can received 2 sim but only call with sim 1.
Now i returned HK 10f firmware.

Hi Inerent
I found G710N20f_00_LGU_KR_OP_0308.kdz https://drive.google.com/open?id=1lRJHBqqXEIpGsV3Eyrqqnkk3lCvq2AIM from chinese forum. Test it!
dual sim on the G710N (korean version)
Hi to all,
I own a G7+ (Korean version G710N) but the dual sim service does not work (since in Korean is kind of impossible and incomprehensible to have more than a sim card.
I'd like to install the Pie for the G710EMW (dual sim).
Have you ever tried to install different firmware on your model? Have you ever get any issue? (sim not working, bootloop, etc...).
Moreover, in the LGE developer webpage (developer.lge.com/resource/mobile/RetrieveBootloader.dev), seems like is not possible to unlock the bootloader of the korean model (I also tried by adb commands but I didn't success!).
Hope to read back from you,
Thanks in advance,
Benf
I was flash G710NO20f_00_OPEN_KR_OP_0308.kdz , my 710EAW ask insert USim and no service with no IMEI but clean firmware. Again with G710N20f_00_LGU_KR_OP_0308.kdz have 1sim slot 1 to call and 2sim received.
Have any way to flash G710NO20f_00_OPEN_KR_OP_0308.kdz with G710EAW10f_00_OPEN_HK_DS_OP_1126.kdz modem partition, i'm think this way to have Korean Pie for dual sim.

Does that version have WiFi calling?
Now, i'm using G710EM10s_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0219.kdz DEC region. Dual sim and everything are ok, waiting for the next of LMG710EM-V18b-EUR-XX-MAR-xx-2019 (not release). But my G7EAW is still lost S/N after corss-flash to India 10t.

There shouldn't be an issue with the Korean version. Just debloat it with adb and you'll be good.
thanks ,
the seller told me that in addition to Korean bloatware there is also a booting logo, whit adb can i deblot also booitng logo? (i don't know this adb program i never used it)

No you can't debloat the booting logo, but it's literally just a boot logo. Not like you can customize it with European firmware
thanks, but how i can do if as you told i can't flash european firmware on V500N version

?? I said you can't change boot logo. Just use app inspector to find packages that you want to uninstall and debloat with adb.
thank you,
but neither in the future will it be possible to flash the European firmware on the V500N?
the two phones have identical hardware the korean model only has the extra digital tv

They don't have identical hardware because there's regional hardware locks that prevent cross flashing. They are tiny fuses which can theoretically be blown somehow in 9008 mode but that requires the firehose.
thank's you for your help
did you know how to make the USSD running ?.... in my country i need USSD to work so i can refill the balance...
