i have samsung galaxy s4 gt-i9515 . Yesterday i rooted my phone using kingroot app. Then i installed twrp recovery for my device using a flashing tool called FLASHIFY. when i started the process it suddenly goes to downloading mode and got stucked. I tried to get out but i can't. in the downloading mode, it says 'COULD NOT DO NORMAL BOOT'. My custom recovery is working, so i jumped to this and tried clearing dalvik cache.,etc by seeing some forums, but nothing happens,it again returned to downloading modes. what can i do to get my phone back ? i have downloaded a firmware to flash. But i have some doubt before flashing the firmware using odin. ( doubt): in the first line i had said that i have gt-i9515,this a value edition, but when i searched for my device firmware there showing firmwares for two ,one is for s4 gt-i9515 and another is s4 gt-i9515 value edition,so my question is these firmware are inappropriate ? can i flash it ?
plz tell me what happened to my phone and there is any alternate for flashing a firmware ?
plz help me

Stuck in Odin mode with every reboot.
I've rooted a few tablets and phones successfully in the past ,includes a few galaxy GT 8010.
I used the same process for a N8020 . But when it reboots ,the normal red android process does its routine, Reboots and "Downloading....." mode appears .Tried rebooting with same result.
So I repeated the process a few more times with same result.
Flashed " Philz recovery " which I can access.
Tried installing customs stock roms (can't find any original N820 australian optus 4.1.2 firmware online ( hotfile host sites are down).
I get an error 7 ( tried looking that up with out success)
Please advice ...I've exhausted all my search efforts.
These are the CF Auto root file I used; p4notelte-gtn8020.tar.md5.
Tried Echoe n820 roms and Darkman roms with error 7 and install aborts.
Once again, HELP please.
Not sure how to delete post.
I manage to acquire the stock FW from Sammobile , (DL through a file host site ) .
Flash through Odin and all good.
Repeat root process ,this time not a hitch.
Hello!
I tried to install twrp on a rooted sm-p600 device and after it restarted it just shows the logo screen and it does nothing!
I rooted it using odin and CF-auto-root a while ago and it worked perfectly.
I have tried to flush twrp recovery, and clockworkmod recovery but it just cant get into recovery mode!
I can go into download mode though.
I also downloaded official kit-kat rom and tried to install with Odin but i keep getting "FAIL".
I have tried everything I read about it with no luck.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance!
Use the forum for your device not this one as its not for 2014 model .
My Galaxy Grand Duos GT-I9082 was running the Cyanogen Mod 12 for the past 4-5 months and over a period of time the system started crashing frequently and I wanted to get back to the Stock ROM. I made a factory reset, wiped partitions and wiped delvik cache. I started Odin, got the device into downloading mode and flashed the Stock ROM (downloaded from sammobile 1 year ago) which I have flashed several times before also and which has worked absolutely fine everytime. This time however, after I flashed the Stock ROM, the downloading process started and the process came to a halt after a few moments and the operation "FAILED". I made a reset and tried to flash the Stock ROM file again but to the same result. I made an exit from the Odin, disconnected the device and tried to start it but it said "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
Neither can I start the device nor can I go into recovery mode. The phone can only go into the downloading mode right now.
I downloaded other Stock ROMs and tried flashing them but none of them are working. I even tried the emergency recovery in Samsung Kies but that does not recognize my device itself.
Anyone has a solution here?
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist.
If flashing a stock firmware didn't help I suggest you to use a PIT file in addition to the firmware

Good luck!
This problem started after I tried to install XPOSED my phone was rooted.... when I installed XPOSED I got a boot loop and accidentally erased everything even my OS somehow... I got TWRP back on my phone but cant do anything else it just boots up onto the GALAXY S6 screen ive tried to install stock firmware but it keeps saying FAIL on ODIN I followed step by step I need help!
90% of the time Odin fails if u trying to downgrade. Why not just download one of the ROMs on XDA and flash it via twrp
Can you link me to one?
Hello,
My N8000 was updating today and it got stuck at the samsung logo agter the "Galaxy note 10.1" screen. I am unable to access recovery mode; only download mode. I have been looking for hours for a solution but can't find any. I have tried to flash a stock ROM from sammobile not working (odin always fails) , tried flashing both custom and stock recoveries but odin keeps failing. I installed the toolkit but inorder to flash roms and stuff i need usb debugging to be enabled, and it is not. Is there a way to enable it while on bootloop?
Thanks,
Where does Odin fail ??

When flashing stock recovery, it fails at recovery.img, flashing rom at boot.img
Suggests wrong files used .
Or possible damaged NAND .
