My Galaxy Grand Duos GT-I9082 was running the Cyanogen Mod 12 for the past 4-5 months and over a period of time the system started crashing frequently and I wanted to get back to the Stock ROM. I made a factory reset, wiped partitions and wiped delvik cache. I started Odin, got the device into downloading mode and flashed the Stock ROM (downloaded from sammobile 1 year ago) which I have flashed several times before also and which has worked absolutely fine everytime. This time however, after I flashed the Stock ROM, the downloading process started and the process came to a halt after a few moments and the operation "FAILED". I made a reset and tried to flash the Stock ROM file again but to the same result. I made an exit from the Odin, disconnected the device and tried to start it but it said "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
Neither can I start the device nor can I go into recovery mode. The phone can only go into the downloading mode right now.
I downloaded other Stock ROMs and tried flashing them but none of them are working. I even tried the emergency recovery in Samsung Kies but that does not recognize my device itself.
Anyone has a solution here?
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist.
If flashing a stock firmware didn't help I suggest you to use a PIT file in addition to the firmware

But while I try to wipedata/factory reset from recovery mode it cannot perform, after sometimes it automatically rebooted & stuck on bootloop page. Though download mode & recovery mode is available & Stock ICS & HC ROM installation success via odin, my device cannot boot successfully. Good Day Everyone. My Samsung Note 10.1 started the other day with a bootloop. I couldn't enter recovery so I downloaded odin and a stock Rom from sammobile for the device. I did the reflash it says pass and still was in the bootloop without access too the recovery. I did the reflash in odin with NAND Erase All ticked and instead of using PDA to select Rom I used CSC. It flashed and booted and showed the samsung Logo and stayed there for about 30 min. After a while it showed the recovery mode menu with the driod laying down with a red traingle and exlimation mark. I can't seam to get the Tablet back up and running and really need help and advice. Please can someone help me because the device doesn't work with Kies and that is why I tried Odin v3.10.7. Any suggestions would be appreciated
NAND Erase All ticked

i have samsung galaxy s4 gt-i9515 . Yesterday i rooted my phone using kingroot app. Then i installed twrp recovery for my device using a flashing tool called FLASHIFY. when i started the process it suddenly goes to downloading mode and got stucked. I tried to get out but i can't. in the downloading mode, it says 'COULD NOT DO NORMAL BOOT'. My custom recovery is working, so i jumped to this and tried clearing dalvik cache.,etc by seeing some forums,but nothing happens,it again returned to downloading modes. what can i do to get my phone back ? i have downloaded a firmware to flash. But i have some doubt before flashing the firmware using odin. ( doubt): in the first line i had said that i have gt-i9515,this a value edition,but when i searched for my device firmware there showing firmwares for two ,one is for s4 gt-i9515 and another is s4 gt-i9515 value edition,so my question is these firmware are inappropriate ? can i flash it ?
plz tell me what happened to my phone and there is any alternate for flashing a firmware ?
plz help me
My phone is Samsung Note 4 (SM-N910C) (XFM-N910CXXU2COJ5)
Earlier today i reseted efs using z3,but when i tried to write back the cert file it failed ;
So i decided to download official rom and flash it with odin, but strangely it failed to, and now it its stuck on(Firmware upgrade encountered an issue.Please select recovery mode in kies & try again).
Please i need your help on what to do, am i supposed to repair refs first so that odin could flash the official rom?
