I have the HTC one x att version, recently when I leave my phone on silent and standby while I sleep the battery is getting wasted horribly.

It could be a multitude of things. The app will help you track down what's causing it.
edit: Whoops! I thought that thread was for BetterBatteryStats. Download it from the market. It helps a bunch.

Do you happen to have the link for that thread? I usually bookmark helpful links so I can give them to others later on.
EDIT: Found it.

There is another very common issue with LTE, which drains the battery very quickly. Basically it occurs if you lose connection for a while (most frequently occuring in subway rides) - and then regain it afterwards.

not to be a jerk, but there really is tons of info on this question all over the site. just do a search, and then another search within threads if you want to find specific posts. this is really covered a lot. you have a better chance of finding a personalized solution and learning a good solution if you skim through and see what answers work with your exact problem.

Sound problem with Rempuzzle ROM HTC Wildfire

Hello everyone,
In the first place, I'm really sorry if I posted in the wrong place. I'm kind of new in the world of forums. So feel free to correct me. Wanted to post in the RemPuzzle thread but the forum wouldnt let me.
My problem is that I just installed Rempuzzle on my HTC Wildfire and I have a really annoying bug, sometimes the in call (and media) sounds stop working, have no idea how to fix that, usually a restart works, for a while. Please help me, I really like this ROM.
Have a great day,
Beres Zoltan

Believe it or not all the kernels are battery friendly but nobody here seems to get the same results out of the kernel. Unfortunately any suggestive threads like yours get closed down as with ROMs,kernels and modem flashing the results may vary.
This is subjective and we have 1000 threads on the topic. Try a few and find what works for your
