I want to root and install TWRP on my Lyf wind 1. I asked you about it but I want to know that my friend successfully rooted Lyf wind 1 (not mine) without unlocking bootloader. In the guide you given .I was told to unlock bootloader and I don't know how to do it. Please help me.can I root my device and install TWRP without unlocking bootloader.

I rooted my phone using Kingo Root Application the phone is I9500 Variant But i am unable to install a Custom Recovery Onto it It's Android is 5.0.1.
After reading a lot of stuff i have confused my self what to do or not.
Currently i am not able to install a Custom Recovery which and My phone just rooted and nothing else can anyone help me.

Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. I can't find a specific root method for your device, but usually all you need to do with HTC devices is go to HTCdev.com and unlock the bootloader, from there you can install a custom recovery and flash SuperSU to gain root access.

I've tryed like 20 different root apk and not one of them work for my HTC one m7 5.0.2 please help without pc thanks

Hello,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
To properly root your device,you have to unlock the bootloader first.If you have your bootloader already unlocked,then you can skip step 1.
1.You can refer this post for unlocking the bootloader.
2.Then you can install [RECOVERY] TWRP touch recovery and flash SuperSU from TWRP to root you device.

@tcfamily4eva There's a way to unlock bootloader without PC.Sunshine S-Off.It'll cost you 25$ but it is guaranteed to work.
The program will run a diagnostic test first and will prompt to pay only if it will be successful with the device.

Just debloat it and it will gets much faster.
