Im new to android i was hoping someone can tell me how does network lock works, and how i can unlock the phone using ADB or any other methods which can be done using the computer without paying for any unlock code.

I want to root and install TWRP on my Lyf wind 1. I asked you about it but I want to know that my friend successfully rooted Lyf wind 1 (not mine) without unlocking bootloader.
