hi, i am new to modding android so i tried some things out.
i flashed a cyanogenmod 11 rom (not official) onto my Sony Xperia P L22i. now it's stuck in a boot loop. i didnt flash a cwm recovery onto it, and i can't boot it into recovery. so my computer only recognizes the phone when in fastboot mode. i can flash some things on it, but i just can't enter recovery to install the os.
the steps i took were this:
i unlocked the bootloader
i copied a ZIP of a rom of cm 11 on the phone's internal storage
i copied a ZIP of Gapps on the phone's internal storage
i copied the boot.img of the cm 11 rom on my pc
i started running flashtool.exe and selected flash with fastboot mode
i selected the boot.img as kernel to flash
i flashed it
i rebooted the phone into the system
since then it's been stuck in a boot loop and i cant boot it into recovery.
i hope i didnt brick my phone or something. i'm new to modding android as i said.
kind regards, Stefano
(sorry for bad english, i'm actually from the netherlands

Hello,
I tried to flash a custom rom with custom boot.img, i flashed the boot.img, but didn't add the rom to the phone memory, so the phone didn't start, then I got to the cwm, tried to install different custom roms hopping that boot.img will somehow fix, but it told me that it can't be done. then I done the backup at cwm without knowing what it does and then i couldn't get even to the cwm.
So the phone is keeping on the "Sony" screen. Can't get to the fastboot, flashmode.
Is the only way to fix it is fixing the boot.img by jtag?
Sorry for my bad english.
With Regards,
Gediminas

Hi everyone!
So, I have an Xperia SP (C5303) , I am used to flash custom ROMs with CWM Recovery, now I'm currently using AICP, but the thing is I've switched to AICP from CM12.1 and by accident I've switched from CWM to the horrible Cyanogenmod Recovery.
So ok, to get back to a decent Recovery, I've tried to flash TWRP using ADB... But when I put my phone in Fastboot and use the
"fastboot flash recovery recovery_image.img" the terminal says that he couldn't find the Recovery Partition!
So I've tried to flash it through Terminal Emulator on the phone itself..... No luck either, I've put the "flash_image" file with chmod 755 into /system/bin and when i run "flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery_image.img" it gives me a Seg Fault! (Probably because the partition isn't mounted)
And before anyone asks, no, not even Rashr or similar apps work.
Does anybody have any idea of what is happening?
Thanks for the help!
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist please post here Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm using Xperia SP from 3 years. Recently, I was about to flash CM12.1 Lollipop ROM.
I did these things seqentially as below -
1. I rooted the phone via Towelroot app.
2. Backup DRM keys with Bakup_TA_Master.
3. Then, Unlocked the Bootloader via Fastboot cmd. (link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2354721 )
4. After that I flashed CWM v6.0.3.5 & created full Backup.
5. Wiped Chahe, Dalvik Chahe, Data & System.
6. Tried to Flash CM 12.1 ROM (downladed from LINK: https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_sony_huashan )
BUT soon after a few minutes of installalation my device showed an error message and it shut down and doesn't started.
It don't shows bootloader, no SONY logo, not reboots to CWM Recovery. It is almost dead, But.....
The only two things it allows me to do is boot to Fastboot Mode & Flashboot Mode when connecting to PC via usb cable.
I dont know what to do now..........
Hi,
Zip from Github have not to be flashed from a recovery.

EDIT: Thread closed - Support provided in another thread and by PM.
I have Lenovo A6000 and I have installed stock recovery by minimal adb and fast boot software .
In the bootloader sceen I have successfull flashed stock recovery (not corrupted because installed it before and was working ) but while rebooting to recovery menu it stuck on boot loop,
then I have installed TWRP recovery image successfully by Minimal ADB fastboot, and same result came.
So I have decided to install stock rom by fastboot software from bootloader .
After wiping data by below command
fastboot -w
followed by
fastboot update <stock.zip>
An errom came and says no android-info.txt found.
What it is???
Please give us a way to install Stock ROM because no recovery is working.

Phone: Huawei G8 Single Sim (Vodaphone carrier)
after installing the unofficial cyanogen mod ROM and installing TWRP for my device, when holding down the power button & also trying through fastboot, i always seem to go to the EMUI recovery and not the TWRP one.
I have tried the following.
>using power button and volume up
>booting into recovery through fastboot (also trying this straight after flashing)
My phone is unlocked and rooted i have also tried flashing through the twrp app and flashify but get an error along the lines of failed to copy files.
The only way i have been able to get into twrp us by using the command "fastboot flash boot twrp.img" which then boots the phone into twrp.
Any help would be much appreciated.
