[Completed] Need help on Flashing Xperia SP C5302. Its gone dead while flashing. - XDA Assist

I'm using Xperia SP from 3 years. Recently, I was about to flash CM12.1 Lollipop ROM.
I did these things seqentially as below -
1. I rooted the phone via Towelroot app.
2. Backup DRM keys with Bakup_TA_Master.
3. Then, Unlocked the Bootloader via Fastboot cmd. (link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2354721 )
4. After that I flashed CWM v6.0.3.5 & created full Backup.
5. Wiped Chahe, Dalvik Chahe, Data & System.
6. Tried to Flash CM 12.1 ROM (downladed from LINK: https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_sony_huashan )
BUT soon after a few minutes of installalation my device showed an error message and it shut down and doesn't started.
It don't shows bootloader, no SONY logo, not reboots to CWM Recovery. It is almost dead, But.....
The only two things it allows me to do is boot to Fastboot Mode & Flashboot Mode when connecting to PC via usb cable.
I dont know what to do now..........

Hi,
Zip from Github have not to be flashed from a recovery.

[Q] Xperia L brick dead

hi,
I've been looking around the forum and couldn't find a solution for my problem
I bought a Xperia L for my child and based on my experienced with my Nexus 4 I wanted to install a custom Rom.
the phone is free sim. I 'm allowed to free bootloacker it.
After enabling USB debbugging ON and installing the drivers with flashtool (vers 9.13 on win 7 64bit) I managed to boot in flash mode and unlock the bootloader via flashtool (thanks to the key provided by Sony) .
the phone rebooted with the Sony logo and those coloured lights.AND USB debbuging OFF !!!!
I've tried to flash a original sony ftf (in put into the firmware C2105_15.0.A.2.17_CE or C2105_15.3.A.1.14_CE file in flashtool) but no luck. it tells me that is preparing the files and then reboot into "device" (usual reboot)
After removing the battery I've rebooted in fastboot and somehow managed to flash the custom Rom (.img) from Phantom (I can see his logo when I turn the phone on). but that's it.
I'm somehow suspecting the USB debbuging OFF creating me issues and the SD card being blank to not help either.
I've installed the PC companion lately but it does not recognized it either...
I'm quite a newby and my goals are 1st to have it working again then to root it in order to install a custom ROM.
Any help or suggestion is welcome
Try removing battery for 2-3 minutes and se if that can get it to boot or at least get to recovery.

I'm in recovery mode now.
I'll look in the forum for a modus opererando from that point but again any additional suggestion/help is welcome
ok.
I'm in the recovery mode v5.0.3.5 by TZ (guess is the phanton owner)
My SD card is formated and I've copied the phanton.zip file. tried to install... no luck. also copied the sony factory file and still no luck.
the menu gives me different options but not sure what to do. will still look in the forum but no luck so far....
I have not rooted the device (and do not know what to do), still cannot flash the factory rom with flashtool (as described above) ...
Any help on where to start from the recovery mode?

Welcome to XL world!
I think that you are a little bit confused!Relax...
First of all...,ftf is stock rom and .img is kernel.
So,first u have to unlock the bootloader and then u have to flash stock rom again otherwise u'll get into bootloop. Then u have to flash a custom kernel with CWM (which u can find in Development sector or in Original Development sector) and then flash a custom ROM via CWM from Development sector...
Hope I helped...

thanks Kazabubu, I understand the steps you described and :
1) I have successfully unlock the bootloader
2) TRIED to flash the stock rom (ftf) (using flashtool, in flash mode ) but the phone was staying in "Preparing files for flashing" and then disconnecting
3) I think I managed to flash a custom kernel ( phanton) in fastboot mode
4) reboot in recovery mode
5) tried unsuccessfully to install a ROM (stock or custom) under recovery mode.
NOW... extremely strangely I left my phone connected to my PC and went to buy some stuffs... When I came back flashtool had flashed the stock rom... and it's working again.... do not ask me how... I have no idea.
I''ll leave it like that and will "only" try to root it as it is.
I'll close the thread and again thanks for you help guys!
Just flash a custom kernel first then boot into CWM and then flash a SuperSU.zip from the recovery.. It will directly root your phone..
Here is the link for the Zip file..http://download.chainfire.eu/204
Sent from my LT26ii using xda app-developers app

[Completed] Is it bricked?

Hello everyone.
I`m new here and I`m a noob. I just rooted my device Sony Xperia SP C5303 with towelroot/ got supersu from googleplay and rootchecker. All went well , phone was rooted, after that I unlocked the bootloader, using IMEI and keycode they provided + comand prompt with fastboot. After that I installed furrydaus`s ROM with gapps already included, kernel included etc. I installed it with recovery tools I found on this site, for unblocked bootloader phone. Everything worked well , the clearing data, wiped dalvik, wiped factory ..after the instalation I clicked on reboot device. It rebooted and that was it. NO kitkat, no ROM, phone dead. Nothing happend, can`t use my phone now. I made a generic firmware with flashtools but It won`t work. What can I do now? How can I get back to stock ftf?
Hi,
I see you've already asked about this in the rom thread, which is definitely the best place to find help..... As the members there know your device and the rom.
If that isn't helping, you can ask here in your device section..

[Completed] How to unbrick LG G2 Mini (can't boot up, no recovery, no fastboot)

Hi. I was trying recently to install CM12 and i f****d up things. Before that, the phone was already rooted and working perfectly fine, but now it is bricked. If I turn it on, it get stuck on the LG logo. I can only access download mode, as I didn't have any custom recovery installed. Only download mode and the hard reset screen (when I enter recovery mode) which does nothing, it just freezes too. The problem is that the PC doesn't recognise the phone while in download mode and I can't do anything. If I could acces it through the PC, I can flash the stock ROM and repair it. Any suggestions? I really need help. Thanks
Note: Last night I managed to acces fastboot and flash recovery, laf, boot and aboot, drivers were fine, cable is original and tried all ports.

[Completed] problem came on installing stock and custom recovery

I have Lenovo A6000 and I have installed stock recovery by minimal adb and fast boot software .
In the bootloader sceen I have successfull flashed stock recovery (not corrupted because installed it before and was working ) but while rebooting to recovery menu it stuck on boot loop,
then I have installed TWRP recovery image successfully by Minimal ADB fastboot, and same result came.
So I have decided to install stock rom by fastboot software from bootloader .
After wiping data by below command
fastboot -w
followed by
fastboot update <stock.zip>
An errom came and says no android-info.txt found.
What it is???
Please give us a way to install Stock ROM because no recovery is working.

[Completed] how to get my phone out of the boot loop?

hi, i am new to modding android so i tried some things out.
i flashed a cyanogenmod 11 rom (not official) onto my Sony Xperia P L22i. now it's stuck in a boot loop. i didnt flash a cwm recovery onto it, and i can't boot it into recovery. so my computer only recognizes the phone when in fastboot mode. i can flash some things on it, but i just can't enter recovery to install the os.
the steps i took were this:
i unlocked the bootloader
i copied a ZIP of a rom of cm 11 on the phone's internal storage
i copied a ZIP of Gapps on the phone's internal storage
i copied the boot.img of the cm 11 rom on my pc
i started running flashtool.exe and selected flash with fastboot mode
i selected the boot.img as kernel to flash
i flashed it
i rebooted the phone into the system
since then it's been stuck in a boot loop and i cant boot it into recovery.
i hope i didnt brick my phone or something. i'm new to modding android as i said.
kind regards, Stefano
(sorry for bad english, i'm actually from the netherlands
