[Q] Updating galaxy s6

Hey, there is an update for the g920f galaxy s6 , it fixes the ram problem and I really want it, but my device is rooted, and it has a flashed theme, I want everything to stay this way but if I will flash from odin it will be as new.. Titanium backup will backup it to the phone but the rom flashing will delete the backup, also, titanium backup will keep the themes? App saves?everything?

N915G - Soft bricked installed wrong stock ROM

Hi,
I was trying to flash the stock ROM on my N915G ROM earlier today however it was the wrong one. It turns out it was for the Singapore version of the N915G (5.1.1) not the Taiwan version which is the one i wanted (5.0.1 is the latest version for the Taiwan version).
Odin shown the failed message when i tried to flash it (which nearly gave me a heart attack).
I installed the CWM recovery and tried to restore my backup that i taken however i just get the Samsung logo boot loop.
I then wiped cache and dalvic cache and reset the ROM. I managed to get as far as the "android is optimizing apps" box but i just get a boot loop when its finished optimizing the 23 applications.
I am thinking i should probably just try and flash the stock ROM with odin but i really dont know what to do!
Any help would be much appreciated !
Alex
EDIT: Flashed the stock ROM and seems to be working now. Can close thread.

Wiped OS from Samsung, can't boot

I've accidentally erased the OS off of my Galaxy S5 while in TWRP, and was wondering how I would be able to install Lollipop back on it.
what is your model name?

You could
1) restore a backup if you ever made one:silly:
2) flash stock ROM (this will wipe your data though)
3)or if you're not that picky download a custom Rom(like cyanogen) of android 5 along with gapps and flash them in twrp (this will be choice if hadn't made any backup that I could restore)

Note 4 N910C Firmware issues

i am in a big trouble , i rooted my note 4 and installed custom recovery and custom rom (unofficial cm13) then i thought i should try some other roms a this rom was not so good but whenever i tried anyother rom it was showing bootloop.so i cleared the cache partition but nothing works for me, then i thought it's time to go back to stock but the backup which i created through twrp was not working same bootloop. now i don't remember my csc and pda , but i do remember my region that was XSG (UAE).
N910CXXS2DPK4_N910COJV2DPI1_XSG
N910CXXU2DPI5_N910COJV2DPI1_XSG
N910CXXS2DPL1_N910COJV2DPI1_XSG
i have tried these above firmwares but same bootloop (restarting on Note 4 logo) and my system status is custom , even installing all these above firmwares. i have flashed few bootloaders and modem files via odin as my friend suggested me so but nothing worked for me. only thing is working that is unofficial cm13 backup
i am waiting for your reply

Trying to find the ROM I used from last year

Hi Guys,
I had a 6.0.1 MM custom ROM (found here in the ROM section) installed on my Galaxy S7 SM-930F last year. I made a TWRP backup prior to upgrading to Nougat however stupid me I have forgotten a folder to manually back up when I was on MM. I've tried to downgrade and restore using TWRP to no avail.. it would say the restore is complete and stay stuck on the Samsung logo. My nanadroid backup ends with G930FXXU1APGH so I searching the ROM section of XDA forum to see if I can go back to what I installed as it appears I have no record of the ROM I downloaded here so I can restore the backup successfully. The backup I am trying to restore is from TWRP 3.0.0 and I am now using a 3.1.1
My questions are:
1.) Do I need to be on the same exact build number of Marshmallow for the TWRP restore to work? (I've tried older/newer TWRP/different build # for Marshmallow)
2.) Is there a best way to find out which custom rom I installed last year (search function?)? All I know is that my backup ends with G930FXXU1APGH so that build # is the only lead I have to search through the forum
3.) Restoring the backup always leads to a stuck Samsung logo. I've tried different TWRP, rooted and gone to Nougat/MM and restoring from there, cleared data/factory settings/cache etc. Any other suggestions?
Thank you for your help.
