Anyone figure this one out yet? I have been scratching my head trying to be able to change mine. I followed some guys instructions on Reddit, but that didn't work for me. Wondering if anyone else had figured it out.

Can you post a screenshot? I'm just curious at this point. There's also access to some settings from the lock screen.
Edit: disregard, it just goes to system settings or Nagar settings.

nope.
The lockscreen wallpaper is kind of annoying, but the persistent "This device is HD capable" notification is driving me out of my mind.

He's using the stock launcher. If you switch back to that, you can change the lock screen wallpaper with a long press on the homescreen.

Unfortunately, I didn't (well, at least not for what you're seeing in that screenshot). If you visit plus.google.com in Chrome, it offers to put a link to the site on your home screen. So, that icon just opens the web version of Google+. I did install Google+ earlier today, but because I had to sign it myself to remove the conflicting permissions (it conflicts with the improperly built Gallery app), Google's servers rejected the client. IMO, the only chances we have of getting a working Google+ installed are 1) if the phone is rooted, then we should be able to replace the Gallery app with a non-broken one, or 2) Lenovo needs to fix it. Option 2 might happen by accident if they ever decide to release Android 7.
Looks like you can only change the lock screen wallpaper to a static picture, no live wallpapers unfortunately. On other phones you can.
Also, I can install and use Google+ just fine it seems, perhaps because I installed their latest December update.

My stock launcher somehow become corrupted, every second, I get "Unfortuantely Launcher has stopped working". It was a ***** to get to the Google Play store between saying, "ok" and having the message pop again in 1 second. So I was able to get into Play store and install another Launcher that is near the original Launcher_3. However, it does not have that LockScreen Walpaper mode.
I don't know how to fix and reinstate the original launcher. Even after trashing and reinstalling it, it still doesn't work.
Any insight?

you can set it as a home replacement, so a launcher....or you can just use it as a normal app
if you set as a launcher then it will have it's own app drawer
I think its brill, could do with a K9 plug in though

I noticed that when trying it out. It was quite disheartening since I REALLY love the app and enjoy being able to modify which items are where on the screen layout, but without an app drawer, it's kinda.... useless.
Update: Looks like Beta 2 has been released, and app drawer functionality has made it's way back in.
Horray for the updated features as well as being able to use it as my launcher replacement!
I'm not sure if this is a bug, so I might file it as a feature request on the bug reporting page - Pressing the "Home" button on an HTC EVO doesn't bring you back to the main launcher page, instead leaves you either in an app drawer view, or in a settings menu. To get back to the launcher, you need to press the "Back" button several times.

I also find this frustrating, but overall the launcher is excellent.
I do suffer with FC's at times which just seem to not stop, but I'm overlooking these while in beta stage.

I've posted a bug report about the home button and got a response. Hopefully they end up getting a fix out for it relatively soon.
I think some of the FC's you might be getting are from the Android version you're running. You have a Sony X10? Aren't you running 1.6? I'll have to look further, but I think that the app is compatible with Eclair or above currently.
Great home replacement app! I do have some pet peeves though:
- As others have said, you cannot return to your old homescreen even when pressing the Home key several times. It would be nice for it to revert to a previous home launcher (e.g. ADW, Launcherpro) unless prompted again.
- Is it possible to make use of K9 Mail instead of GMail for the email client? A plugin of some sort would be mighty fine.
Other than that, this might be my next favorite app for Android.

If you enter the App Drawer and press Menu -> Home Settings -> Home Switching -> Toggle "Switch Homes"
I think this is what you are referring to? This should allow you to use the Home button to toggle between SS and your main launcher.
EDIT: Beta 3 was released. http://gsfn.us/t/1yjjb
Fixes "Home" button while using SS as primary launcher. I <3 the devs of this app, they REALLY listen!

Same here. I'll try reinstalling.
UPDATE: Just uninstall and reinstall beta 3. Works fine.
Did Verizon disable this for some reason? Or did HTC? When I open the Google Search app (where you can usually say "Ok Google" to jump into voice commands), the settings say it's enabled, however it doesn't say "ok google" next to the microphone icon in the search bar, like it usually does
It's especially weird because I vaguely remember using the Ok Google a few days after I got it, but I could be mistaken (quite often this is the case)
No matter how loud I've screamed at it, it's not working. Anybody else having this?
Lol. The m8 isn't "always listening"

Is your app out of date perhaps? It works fine for me, but it is limited to the Google Now app. I can't do it on the homescreen, but it works perfectly fine from the Google Now app (swipe up from home).
If you are totally up to date, maybe try going with a factory reset.

If you want it on the homescreen, you'll have to sideload the Google Now Launcher APK and use that instead of BlinkFeed. You do lose access to HTC's widgets, but other than that there's not much difference.
If you want to do that, here's the XDA thread to get the APK:

One of my favorite features on stock lollipop was the Samsung live weather lockscreen. It seems this was lost in Marshmallow. Does anyone know how to install it? I would greatly appreciate the help.
I would love to know this as well
Same thing happened to me yesterday after the Marshmallow 6.0.1 update. No more live weather option on the lock screen.
Same here. It seems they've removed it completely. It was my favorite too.
...
I've been looking for a way to get this back or some suitable replacement for this feature and can't find either.
Anyone got any ideas?

Yes, Ive been using it for a while. You need to download the Samsung Good Lock lock screen , It will actually change your UI. . Then enable it, it will give you an option to either use a widget or a stock clock, select either your own weather / time widget or the stock Samsung widget. I use XWidget . then once finished setting your widget before clicking finish, hit the little edit icon to the right of the widget you selected and click the button to "Enable to access the secured lock screen" otherwise it wont update, then click save.

When I first got my Honor 8 in November 2016, when it was running Marshmallow, I was able to use Muzei Live Wallpaper for both desktop and lock screen. This looked great and made the whole experience seemless.
After signing up and downloading the update to EMUI 5 through the BETA scheme, that option had disappeared and I was stuck with pics from the gallery or the Magazine Unlock as backgrounds to my Lockscreen. I had logged this as a bug through the beta program, hoping that it would be sorted out before the final release. After updating to the final release for EMUI 5, it seems that the option is still missing, OR am I not seeing where to go to set it?
It now just looks dis-jointed having different pics on display after I unlock the phone, or worse, going from a static picture to a different live wallpaper that might have movement.
Is anyone else able to have a live wallpaper on their lockscreen as well as their desktop?
I can set live wallpaper on desktop, but not lockscreen.

Your best bet for fixing the flashlight issue is to probably install a Pixel Launcher, stock or modded and customize your At A Glance settings. As for the lock screen weather, not so sure you can turn that one off.

It was the same on my 4XL. It's nuts that they put that on the homescreen. Every morning when I turn the phone on, I have to swipe left to get to the homescreen I want to use. I don't want to root, or change the launcher. Back in the day, I was able to choose the homescreen page I wanted.
