Well that's a first.. have it replaced IMHO.
I returned my first Pixel and now have a second. This one is going back too. Look at this:
Freshly wiped. This time it's the front camera. I still have the flashing with the rear camera.
I can't honestly be the only one this is happening to, can I?
I'm on my third pixel and it's happening again:
Can anyone suggest what might be happening? This is my third phone and I'm not hearing of others having similar problems.
Regards
Fru

Since there are individual threads going on regarding diff. issues that some Sensations suffer from, i thought i would start this thread to have all these issues in one place. And more importantly, we can suggest some tests that could be performed right out of the box to figure out whether or not the device should be sent for replacement.
I'll keep the first post updated based on your recommendations in this thread.
-The first thing i can think of is the issue with the device being loose in its back cover, which is something that should be kept in mind and also can be easily tested
-Then comes the problem of "separate" layers under the screen which is accompanied by a sound resembling "a sticker being peeled of a surface".
Touchscreen not working properly.
Except you can't test for that when you first get it because it takes a few days to appear.

FWIW, I had that issue but once I installed ADW launcher it hasn't happened again...it's been two days now. It's probably just a coincidence, but never the less figured I'd pass it on.
Is the second issue on the OP is relevant to this video?

I couldn't see any thing wrong on that video though.

As the title suggests we (at least those who N5) had to upgrade to the camera of google. For heaven's sake in this post is not to say, you no good bad etc. .. But I want to put an attention on the video. You doing various tests from yesterday to today I noticed (unfortunately) an annoying noise in the video is that in FHD 480p. The bug or problem, call it what you want, persists in all kinds of resolution that you put. Arises especially in confined spaces, such as a room or whatever at home, standing in silence and making a normal recovery. Below I have uploaded a little video to show you Yuotube on this issue. To you a review!
Edit: obviously the video was shot in 1080p, this should sentisi more noise or background noise.

In fact, restoring an old bakup I noticed that in the old version the problem persists. As you said the bug there for months. Hopefully with the update 4.4.3 solve.

That title makes no sense.
I suggest you change the title. I think it should read, rustling sound.

I really want someone else to give this a go and report back, I unitentionally fixed this problem by flashing a slim rom hdr+ bug fix. The file I flashed was this one http://www.slimroms.net/index.php/d...-4/10260-slim-google-camera-compatibility-fix
Maybe a strange coincidence, anyone else fancy giving it a shot?

Ok thanks, I'll look
Send from my Nexus 5 white 32Gb
I had to get a replacement phone because the volume button stopped working.
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems that the display on this new one is very washed out and had a pinkish tint to it... I don't know, it just doesn't look right.
Does anyone else have this issue, or is it all in my head? I am a picky person
UPDATE: I just called Verizon for a replacement with no problems. Hopefully this new one has a fresh screen.

Sounds like a display panel issue to me. I would definitely beginning another replacement. I know its a hassle but I that would drive me nuts. I know if you're not happy with it you can have another replacement ship to you. I wouldn't wait too long though get it taken care of as soon as possible

I'm just afraid that they will say since there is nothing wrong with it, they won't give me a replacement or that they will charge me for another one.

Unfortunately, when I turned it on, it updated to 4.4.4. That's a bummer.

I definitely call them and find out that information for sure. I'm sure if there's an issue with the phone that they'll send you another one free of charge. Just call and explain it to him. You don't know until you ask. Now it specially since you're on the newest firmware you can't root it I would definitely be exploring my options

I may do that.
Also, I just now noticed, but the top of the display bleeds. So I probably will get a replacement.

I would definitely get a replacement. This phone has the best LCD I've ever used on a mobile device. Colors are fantastic, whites are white, any there's absolutely no light bleed. It sounds to me like you have a defective unit.

I know it does. The screen on my last one was fantastic. I may call support next week and try and get a replacement. I do expect some hassle, though.
So everyone once in a while when I use my camera now that its on the PR rom, it makes a weird noise and vibrates. Anyone else have this issue?

Yeah..its hardware issue and the camera have some sort of green spot, right..
Yup, after I heard the noise I started to see the green dot to now. I'm going to see if I harvesting a camera from another phone will resolve the issue.
What bums me out about this is that it seemed to be just fine on the regular ATT rom and after I flashed the PR one it went to hell.

Did you did anything with it before it happened..like tweaking for 60fps video recording??
Nope.
IT seems tired to the OIS because I noticed it kicking when I start to move the phone.
