Hello friends. I have a question. Is correct flash the firmware XT1557 model on XT1556 model. Unfortunately I possess the XT1556 model, which long ago not updated, however the model XT1557 if it is constantly updated and given that both are Turbo edition (Merlin) wanted to ask if I can flash the firmware of one over the other without my device is damaged, lost signal or get some brick. Thank you very much for your help
Hello,
According GSMARENA they differ 3G and 4G bands only:

So I think you can use XT1557 custom ROM on XT1556 but you must flash XT1556 radio after.

Suggest some custom rom for XT1557
and stock firmware?
you talket about custom rom, but I want install 6.0.1 indian (xt1557) on 6.0 brazilian (xt1556), can I?
It's really needed flash radio? because I saw that xt1557 have all frequency bands of brazil.

Changing the radios does not change the supported bands of the device, that is locked far deeper in the device than we can access.
I would strongly suggest not trying to switch stock firmware, although you can try... as far as custom ROM's go, just stay on the latest stock radios, they are tuned properly to your device, switching to XT1557 radios could have negative effects at worst, at best they would be exactly the same.

There is no german language in the dual sim versions.
But you can try "morelocale 2" to get at least installed apps back to german.
I have a xt1032, running 4.4.2, on t-mobile, so I think it's a GSM model. Should the system version read 174.44.1.falcon_umts.AWSRetail.en.US or 174.44.1.falcon_umts.Retail.en.US?
I had to restore the firmware at some point and I'm wondering if I installed the wrong one? What does the 'AWS' part mean?
If you have an XT1032 Moto G, then your phone is not compatible with AWS. XT1034 is the AWS model.

Thank you for the reply. I have reached my 'thanks' limit for the day so I will hit the button tomorrow
Hi to everyone,
A friend of mine is travelling to the USA in a few days, and I will ask him to bring me an unlocked Moto G. Now my questions are:
1) Which are the diferences between the US and the International versions in regards to the software updates?
2) Does the US celullar version receives the android update before the International one ?
3) If I bought the international version, would I still be able to flash the GPE rom in it ?
Thank you in advance
1) I think none
2) I think so
3) You should be able to do this with xt1032 and xt1033 with The others im not sure.

Get the "Global" (XT1032) model.
Seems both the retail "US" and "Global" models sold in the USA get their updates at the same time.
"US Cellular" is the name of an American carrier, be careful not to mix things up.
The GPE is an XT1032 and there are conversion guides on here for that exact purpose.
Thank you both, you have clarified me lots of things. now I know which exact model I should ask my friend to bring me. Thank you again.
Cheers

You should be fine with this one (common Europe KK 4.4.2),
Blur_Version.176.44.1.falcon_umts.EURetail.en.EU

Hi guys.
I was using the Lollipop version 5.0.2, but I did downgrade to 4.4.4 KitKat
I could not install the Brazil Retail version, so I opted for the Asia Retail.
Is there any difference between them? (I'm live in Brazil)
thanks!
Wrong section to ask questions, perhaps different radio.

So far, the signal is stabilized, 3G operating normally. All right? Or I wanna try to install the Brazilian version?
