Hi,
I would like to share with you a method to make Snapshat's app working on every rom, even if you have Root and/or Xposed.
1 - make a backup with TWRP or whatever you want, if you want to restore if you don't want snapchat working
2 - in TWRP : full wipe (data, system, cache ...) + format data
3 - download the original samsung rom here http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?r=&v=&q=s7
4 - flash with odin
5 - boot and setup your S7.
6 - Install Snapchat app and login !
7 - Root (with Odin) & flash TWRP recovery (with Odin) OR Root throught TWRP with magisk V8 and phh's super su app... the two work.
8 - Install busybox free (open it and "install")
9 - Install mybackup pro (link play store)
/!\ authorize root access to MyBackup Pro /!\
10 - Mybackup Pro : Setup storage backup in you external SD
11 - Mybackup Pro : Backup snapchat APK+data (important)
12 - Reboot into recovery : in TWRP : full wipe (data, system, cache ...) + format data
13 - Install your desired custom ROM
14 - boot and setup your S7
15- Re-do step 8, 9, 10
16 - Restore backup apk+data
17 - Reboot
18 - Enjoy ! open Snapchat's app, and your credentials is automaticaly in.
Have a good day !
Is more easy install Snapchat, log in, and then install xposed, Snapchat works perfect with Root, but with xposed nope.

Yes but if you want a custom rom, you have to do this method, else, Snapchat will not work.
And with your method, you have only an samsung's official rom. So you can't backup you \data partition without loose you credential snapchat.
I have already try

I think that snapchat team has disabled login since a few weeks ago.
If you wipe and flash again this rom, you will loose possibility to log in.
Will Titanium Backup work as well for this?
If there is the option to backup APK + data, so, Yes.
Why is it necessary to back up the APK?

Once you log in in the application, all information about that are in a data folder. The backup save the version of the APK (i don't know if it work with a new version) and the data folder.
So when you restore it, your credentials are already in.
Easiest way to get Snapchat working
In the past month I have been having the Snapchat login issue as well. The last few times I installed a new rom I have been unable to login to Snapchat. Trying to restore a titanium backup of working snapchat data did not fix the issue (it use to but no longer works for me). The new roms I install do not have Xposed Framework, but are rooted. The phone being rooted is what is causing the issue for me. I have been unable to find answers to get this working for me, but I finally figured out the easiest way in my opinion to fix this.
Doing the steps below will temporarily unroot your phone. Make sure you download a flashable version of SuperSU to your phone so you are able to root it again.
1 . Open up the SuperSU app on your phone.
2. Under settings select "Full Unroot".
3. A SuperSU screen will pop up telling you "If cleanup succeeds, root will be lost, and this app will close automatically in a few seconds". Select "continue"
4. The next screen should say "Attempt to restore stock boot image? This is required for OTAs to succeed". Select "No".
5. Your phone should now reboot. Once booted up you should now be able to login to Snapchat (removing root allowed me to login successfully).
6. Once logged into Snapchat you can reboot into recovery and flash SuperSU to root your phone again.
Hope this helps.
This doesn't solved my logins attempts. Full unroot with supersu doesn't help me.
only, flash room whitout xposed....
install snapchat 9.31.1.0
login
reboot...
install xposed
done
recomend snapprefs

The method I posted is the only way that fixed my issue. Do you have xposed on your phone as well? Did you follow the steps I posted?

Before I fixed my issue this would not work. My phone being rooted blocked me from logging into any version of Snapchat (including 9.31.1.0). The only way to fix was for me to do a full unroot.
The best solution i have is to flash the superman rom, because, it will prompt you if you want to install root and xposed, if you choose "no", then you can login to snapchat, after that, you can dirty flash the rom again, and you select "yes" to install root and xposed... no problem in the future ...
***Solved***
If you have a app with Magisk or any system less
All you have to do is disable and delete the xposed module in Magisk manager and login as normal.
No need to do a unroot and everything
Works on the galaxy project rom.

This is a modified version of @jrkruse stock BPB1 deodexed ROM with all(or most) of the stock BS removed.
INSTRUCTIONS:
I've included the links needed if you want to use xposed. If you chose not to use Xposed, then skip that step in the flashing process.
I have only used Safestrap to install this ROM, but FlashFire should work as well.
1) Flash NO_BS_BPB1_ROM_DEODEXED.zip
2) Flash Extra_toggles.zip
3) Flash xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon.zip
4) Flash Lollipop_Safestrap_Reboot_Extended_PM_PB1.zip
5) Flash BPB1_Firmware_No_Bootloaders.zip
6) After first boot, open Lollipop Recovery Control and install the latest Safestrap.
7) Open up Viper4Android and install the driver. Then install Viper Fix 1.1.apk and run the Viper fix in the app.
There is no need to flash any Viper zips with this ROM. This ROM has all the same apps as BOK3 V5, but obviously updated to the BPB1 apps. The only app added is multiwindow. I don't use multiwindow, so I can be certain that all aspects of it work, but everything seemed to work normally when I played with it.
Note: Don't pay attention to the 1- prefix in front of some of the ROM versions. I prefix all my flashables in my ROM folder with a 1-, 2-, 3-, ect, so that I have them all in order when I flash them instead of having to remember the order every time lol. I forgot to remove those prefixes when I uploaded the ROMs.

I've downloaded it multiple times from multiple mirrors, I keep getting 6619258FCFF93587050F9E15B2FFBAA9 as the md5 not
a1d8316898d604314b884dafb09298b0 that is listed for 1-NO_BS_BPB1_ROM_DEODEXED.zip on the download page. I'll give it a try anyway since I can always reflash my NCG stock.
Edit:
It works! But now I have 492 errors anytime I want to download something from google play? Anyone else with this issue?

Does anyone know what exactly is new/improved in this BPB1? I feel like these versions keep getting released, but I have no idea what is actually improved LOL.
Thanks! Seems to be working well. Google Calendar kept force closing, so I removed it and installed the Play Store version.
Some apps seen to have a touch recognition problem, like titanium backup. Haven't had any FC errors.

I don't have any of these problems on mine. Does anybody else? It sounds like you guys might have some bad data from a previous ROM. The Play Store was updated in this ROM, so clear data for the Play Store, and that might fix the problem.

Few Questions
First, since I'm pretty new to flashing ROMs with SafeStrap...
At each step of your process when you say "Flash" does that mean Safestrap-> Boot to Recovery ->Install Zip ???
I'm looking at needing Xposed in order to bypass my company's Exchange security requirement of encrypting my device in order to allow email access.
I got a little confused with all the Xposed documentation out there.
Does this set of instructions get me to where I can load the Xposed module to bypass that security and then continue from there?
Big Thanks for your help.
I'm going to start a backup of current ROM so I'll be ready to install this soon.
Regards,
NerdyKowboy

Yes, flash means install in Safestrap.
If you flash the Xposed zip I linked in the original post, then you can use modules in the Xposed installer app included in the ROM.

1.) In safestrap, just do wipe->factory reset or is more of a wipe required?
2.) Can I flash them all using the Zip Queue in Safestrap (TWRP 2.7.1.0) or should I do them one at a time?
Factory reset in factory recovery. You can install all of them on one queue.

I did that, and this is AWESOME. Love the ROM. Tough to decide between the two launchers. Haven't had this level of control in a while.
Only snag was that Android Pay doesn't recognize the device as Android authentic, so can't use Android Pay (which I almost never used anyway).
Thanks for all the work @CVertigo1

I believe Android Pay doesn't work sheerly because the device is rooted, not because of the ROM itself.
Can't get snapchat to login with Xposed. I've read the solution is to do an Xposed framework uninstall, login to Snap, then reinstall Xposed, but have found a lot of people get hung in a bootloop when uninstalling.
Is this from using the wrong uninstaller or something else?
Which uninstaller is correct?
Do you have another solution?
I have tried removing the modules and doing a reboot to see if that'd be adequate.
EDIT:
The issue was the xposed framework.
To anyone else doing this on Galaxy S5 with this ROM (or same version of Xposed)
1.) uninstall Snapchat
2.) Deactivate modules from Xposed
3.) Download and Flash "xposed-uninstaller-arter97.zip" from this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463
4.) Reboot and wait for all the apps to Optimize
5.) Reinstall snapchat and login
6.) Flash the same Xposed framework in original post of this thread (apps will re-optimize)
Is there a way to disable the high volume warning? I can't believe they now also have it on Bluetooth...

Since Xposed is already in the ROM, inside of Xposed, go to Downloads & download the module "NoSafeVolumeWarning". Enable it and reboot.
Boom. No more volume warning.

Successfully uninstalled Xposed, Reinstalled SnapChat and logged in without issue. Then, reflashed the Xposed framework.

Magisk manager work in systemless. It's work that same as supersu in systemless. We have official topic in xda how its work.
If you want you can create zip pack to flash and you dont need modded rom that same as xposed.
If you want you can use xposed but then you cant pass safetynet because your rom its modded and you can use some apps, games and android pay.
Hi Chudy

Xposed v78 official you can download from official topic
thanks for answering. I continue with error 7 when installing any rom. I think error 7 is given after using the Xposed Mobile Faker module. I have TWRP 3.0.2-0 recovery. Before using the module xpoded mobile faker could install any rom. Change to recovery stock eh install B571 full update.app with error at 99%. I think that the module xposed mobile faker corrupt some binary or scrip, may be possible?.
I can only install TWRP recovery backup. But no zip nor update.app with recovery stock

Ok, install this rom. I hope I have no mistakes. regards
Install Ale95 kingvip v3.1 with error 7. The error is after or during installation Cust or simlinks. Both in this rom as in other roms.

Please write in correct topic. Don't spamming. If you have error write in @Ale95 topic
I can't log into Snapchat on my OnePlus one. This has started very recently, after a factory reset.
My account is not locked, as I have logged in on my iPhone. I did try to unlock it however to no avail.
I have no 3rd party Snapchat apps installed.
Some apps I have that might be causing the problem:
Titanium backup
Magisk manager (with magisk hide enabled)
Catlog
FX file explorer
Rom: resurrection remix (6/20 update)
Kernel: resurrection kernel
A0001(bacon)
yeah its because of root, UNroot then log in then root again. its the most simple way.
I Found the reason and the resolution in the OnePlus 3T forum:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/help/snapchat-fail-login-root-t3571405
"Snapchat checks for root and purposely prevents you from logging in if it find it. If you rooted with SuperSU, try installing Chainfire's SUHide. Otherwise, if you rooted with Magisk, enable MagiskHide in Magisk Manager."
It took forever to find this solution, it worked!
I use SU# and it was simple to "unroot" from within the SU# app
1. click on the settings in the upper right, scroll down to the "cleanup" section, select full unroot, accept all the warning messages, the phone will reboot into recovery and then reboot the phone after it finishes. Your phone may cycle through the reboot process a couple of times
2. log back into your phone, then you can log into the Snapchat app.
3. now you can re-root your phone, if you want to.
Cheers.
For me the easiest way was to install SC in other nonrooted device and log in. After that, use Titanium Backup to export the data app, then from the rooted device just import data and that was it.

I wonder why they have such dumb policies. Can't they just simply increase their encryption level? Other social apps don't have any issues with root and they're also secure af!
Hello.
First of all, here is my device:
Code:
Samsung Galaxy S7
Model: SM-G930F
ROM: [URL="https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/development/rom-ryzen-rom-v1-0-t3667900"]Aspiration S8 Port V1.0[/URL]
Root: SuperSU
After I installed this ROM (with xPosed), I wanted to set up Snapchat. When logging in, I get the error some people receive when they got a rooted phone. I did a lot of research and found three methods:
Uninstall xPosed (via recovery), restart, install Snapchat, login, reinstall xPosed - DID NOT WORK
Create a Backup using Bluestacks 2.5 and B.S-Helper - DID NOT WORK, I COULD NOT EVEN LOGIN INTO SNAPCHAT WITHOUT ROOT ON BS
Using the function "Hide Magisk"
As you see, the first two options won't work. So my question is, how do I change my root from SuperSU to Magisk? And will this option work for sure with Snapchat? As I am very frustrated and sad, I would be honored if anybody would give me a tip.
Sincerely
Vesanius
EDIT: For all those, who got the same issue, I would like to let you know that the third method works. You have to uninstall Snapchat, uninstall xPosed (incl. modules), install the ROM again without wiping any data and choosing Magick instead of SuperSU, install Snapchat, login and then install xPosed. I hope that helps some of you folks.

You could have used a third party app (Like Root Switch) to hide your root without re-flashing your ROM or switching to Magisk

Oh, thas odd. Because I had the same issue and this worked like a charm. I had to restart my phone because it would not let me unhide it and that did the trick.
As we known when samsung phone is rooted then Knox is tripping so multi user with a work profile isn't possible with the error message... can't create work profile.
This is howto guide to bypass Knox security so Shelter works on it, after many tries and errors methode
My setup
- S20 magisk zygisk root android 13
- Magisk modules: lsposed, knoxpatch apk and enhancer (in lsposed), shamiko as blacklist mode, safetynet fix
- Shelter
Guide
- Root your samsung phone with zygisk magisk (25.2) and install those magisk modules. Reboot several times
- In Lsposed enable KnoxPatch module with suggested Recommended. Reboot
- In Magisk Settings change Multiuser Mode > Device Owner Managed (using in multi user profile)
- In Magisk Settings change Mount Namespace Mode > Inherit namespace. Reboot
- Install Shelter and create work profile following Setup Wizard
- Clone the needed apps to Work profile or install directly from Shelter Work Profile
- In Magisk configure DenyList with those apps in work profile
My rooted S20 works fine in Work Profile with my company apps Microsoft Authenticator, Company Portal, Outlook, Teams etc.
Hope it helps for you guys too.
Further process how to make company apps work on Work Profile created by Shelter/ Island needs follow steps
- Install Applist Detector to check root
- Install InitrcHider (zygisk version) in Magisk
- In Magisk configure DenyList with full denying for those company apps (ticks all processes)
- Uninstall Magisk from Settings/ Apps, not directly from Magisk! because if doing it from Magisk then you loose the root
- Check root again with AppList Detector
- Delete company apps data and cache from Settings/ Apps then setup those apps again as new

Does the above steps really working bro?
Please help me bro
Device Details:
Samsung S10
Custom ROM: One UI 5.1 android 13 by Ivan_meler
Issue: unable to use intune company portal and Island
Please guide me how to do it bro. The above instruction not working for me bro
Did it work for you to install Island?
The scoop is how to make Shelter/ Island/ Insular work with rooted Samsung.
Further process how to make company apps work on Work Profile created by Shelter/ Island needs follow steps
- Install Applist Detector to check root
- Install InitrcHider (zygisk version)
- In Magisk configure DenyList with full denying for those company apps (ticks all processes)
- Uninstall Magisk from Settings/ Apps, not directly from Magisk (important!) because if doing it from Magisk then you loose the root
- Check root again with AppList Detector
- Delete company apps data and cache from Settings/ Apps then setup those apps again as new
Thanks for your reply bro
My first issue is that when i try to install shelter or island it starts, loads and restarts automatically bro
Rooted, installed above modules and followed the instruction bro.
Are you sure your Knox works? Samsung Health, Biometrics, Samsung Pass etc?
It looks like you've trouble with Knox.
You can try enable multi user (per default disabled in Samsung) either using Firefds Kit module in Lsposed or edit the build.prop with
#Multi user
fw.max_users=3
fw.show_multiuserui=1
I have attached the screenshots bro. Please check. Yea even i think knox is not working it is tripped and i m using custom rom bro. If i use intune on main profile it says you need to enable encryption and in island profile it is not even registering profile. Samsung pass doesnt work bro...other samsung apps works properly when i use lsposed knox enhancer bro
My knox is tripped too because unlocking bootloader.
I'm using stock ROM with custom kernel rooted with magisk. The phone is still encrypted.
Your case is using a decrypted ROM. You can search in xda flashing custom ROM without decryption.
The official twrp doesn't decrypt the data partition, the biggest catch will be that you will not have the data partition in a twrp backup. But apart from that, twrp will still work for installs and updates and backups og the system and cache partitions.
Use smart switch doing backup in stead.

How to do it bro using smart switch
You can still use One UI5.1 ivan_meler custom ROM. Nothing wrong with it.
You must flash stock ROM first to get back encrypted. Set it up until your phone is working.
Flash twrp and get custom ROM on external SD card.
Follow your own process to flash custom ROM with twrp.
In twrp do wipe dalvik and cache as usual. DON'T format Data. Doing it will get your phone decrypted.
Install your custom ROM.
I did it as remembered back to the days with my old s10 with custom ROM android 10.

In the official TWRP My SD card shows only 117MB instead of 128GB bro. So i will try adb sideload bro
Probably your SD card is formatted with ExFat which isn't visible in twrp.
Try FAT32 in stead.
{the file is too large for destination} -b cant able to transfer file more than 4gb bro after formatting SD card to FAT32
Bro in island work profile, intune looks like this only bro, I did click in check device settings multiple time bro nothing happens bro but in the main profile I can install and register my device in intune bro and use my company mails and teams bro
You do know how to use island? You can only use one intune app either in main or work profile. Clone or install directly in work profile and uninstall from the main profile.
Did you check the root from work profile with Applist detector? Install Applist Detector in work profile and run.
In my work profile my device settings is registered as unknown, but ok because it does pass all checks from company apps.
