Try this
1. power down the phone and let it completely shut down.
2. Hold the power key, home button, and volume up button for 3 seconds.
3. Boot into recovery mode
4. Wipe cache 3 times and reboot
5. Try to manually update your phone.

Just wanted to let you guys know I reflashed my OF7 stock firmware through ODIN and then took the OGA OTA update. I then flashed djvoleur's v6 kernel and the 5.1.1 TWRP through ODIN. Most updated ROM, root, and custom recovery. Everything works fine. The link to the kernel is below.

But I am still showing 20j. I loaded the update zip from this thread in LG Up and checked fota upgrade and hit start. It took a good 10 minutes to install, and then booting up optimizing apps for another 10-15 mins.... so it definitely did something

Yes to do the upgrade. However I had a heck of a time getting the lgup tool to recognize my device. Had to do a bunch of Google research until I finally found some solutions. Once I get it to recognize i just followed the parameters from the screen shot and all worked like a charm. Been running it for a while now. Seeing a pretty big improvement in all around battery life and the call out bug where it doesn't ring is solved. So I very happy with this update.

The one that says Stock is the full firmware and can be flashed over PJ2 stock.
The one that says Dev Friendly or whatever is the same as the Stock version, it just doesn't have the aboot.mbn so it doesn't remove Developer Edition status.
