There are no custom kernels for MIUI 8.
You can try CM13 latest build. My mi4i has never been this smooth since the latest update

so what regarding the bugs in cm13 ?? are they major or just the normal one's ? can be used as daily driver or not ?

I've been using custom ROMs as daily drivers for 8 months now. Except FM radio, everything works. No random reboots or performance problems

I'm using AICP which I think is based on CM. Anyway, it's stable and fast even though it hasn't yet received the latest kernel improvements.

I have tried almost all Roma cm and I echo effect in call. you too? no echo which rom?
maybe wrong gapps?

Gapps doesn't have anything to do with audio quality.
People didn't complain and I don't make calls very often so I don't know what your problem may be.

[Q] CM10.2: galaxyfreak or sakindia123

What's the difference in galaxyfreak's Cyanogenmod 10.2 Weekly build 9 and sakindia123's Cyanogenmod 10.2 Beta#2?
Which ROM is more stable, better and has more features?

Instead of asking why don't you try and see every user has there own need of using the rom and its features..

I meant if the sakindia's version has the HALO 2 feature, the s2e...
And do they have any bugs?

Both the roms are stable and dont have any serious kind of bugs.
Havnt used sakindia's rom that much but have used galaxyfreaks rom the rom is stable and smooth.
I use sakindia's rom with pure performance script and it is smooth.
Generally sakindia ports CM without adding eye candy to it (no halo, no s2w, etc).
Galaxyfreak and 7alvi adds all those features
As mentioned previously, if you'd like to know the difference between ROMs or whether a certain ROM is more stable/has more features than another ROM, simply test them out and find put for yourself.
Yes, it will take you longer to find out but it's better to test things for yourself because you might prefer the features/usability of one ROM while other people may suggest a totally different ROM based on their own usage.

I use CM and the battery isn't very good, but it can easily handle a day, perfomance is great, but keep in mind that it has nightly updates and a lot of useful features. As far as I know is the most polished
is here somebody are using blisspop ? maybe this rom is more polished than CM

Are the 6.0 roms stable?

Wondering whether to upgrade my buddy's phone to 6.0 or not. He uses it for work sometimes so prefer not to have any reboots. How has you guys experince been with 6.0 roms? Any specific stable one you would recommend? Thanks.

NuclearAndroidProject is pretty stable, and for me it works better than Lollipop ever has.
Been using Sultanxda's 6.0 from 06/11 as primary ROM. its been stable and smooth so far. here the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...m-kernel-unofficial-cyanogenmod-13-0-t3242700
Using Sultan's 6.0 rom, daily patches. Overall pretty smooth experience.
Sultans 6.0 is smooth and stable. It can also be used as daily driver. The only bug I had was the video recordings. All the videos recorded had no sync of audio and video so I popped down to 5.1.1 Blisspop rom. Otherwise it's a good rom to try and use as daily driver.

Press on thanks if I helped you
Using AOSParadox right now. I have not experienced a single reboot or deal breaking bug (at least for me).
I'm interested too....I know that Cyanogen plans to go out in January with 13CM based on 6.0 but in the meanwhile I'd like to give it a go, especially to solve the audio recording problem.
Any suggestions?

Hi,
most 6.0 custom ROMs alphas are stable and good for daily use :good:
Use the XDA search feature to find them and make your own choice by reading users comments

Using Sultan's 6.0 ROM and it's almost a complete package. A few small bugs are there but thanks to Sultan for keep fixing them with regular updates.
I prefer Official CM13.0 nightly
Omnirom has been my dd since it came out

I was really scared about flash M, and the last week i made and was a really good decision. Its not 100% stable, but it works really smooth and the battery life its much better than L.
I'm using SultanXDA build.
I am on CM official nightlies with boeffla kernel.. Not 100% stable, I would say. you may find some random crashes, no random reboots so far.. but it is fast, smooth, not that battery hog and can be used as a daily driver.

Favorite MM rom, while waiting on N to be stable.

What MM ROM are you currently running , while you wait for N ROM to become more stable.
What's your daily driver ?
Provide Link if possible.
BTW these are all abandoned, but by all means, still very stable and usable.
#1. My all-time favorite MM ROM has to be. Oct OS

There is a two fully stables ROM's based on Nougat, the AOSP Extended and Zephyr OS, in both you can install ViperFX, use root and all the normal things.
my main issue with the available 7.0 ROMs is i really need kernel-supported headphone gain controls. i listen to music via aux cable very often and need sound boosted quite a bit from defaults.
anyone have suggestions on rectifying this so i can stick with 7.0?

Dirty Unicorns, like many custom ROM's, has left XDA... Look at their official project threads on dev-base.com, Google+, or look here: https://devs-base.com/viewforum.php?f=315
