Hello, I'm having a problem that is driving me crazy, I have an S5, and gyroscope isn't working properly, the screen rotation is OK, but the gyroscope test give me Fail, in this days I'm gonna flash stock rom, to see if Omega V20 is giving the problem. But first I ask for some opinion.
The problem is with the VR device, I cant look right and left.... It could be a hardware problem? Is it common? Can I replace the gyroscope?
Please, give me some help.

i got a Problem with my Nexus S, the compass calibration seems to be deleted after every reboot. (Maybe it's magnetic field sensor too idk that...)
Is this supposed to do that? i could not think of thats the right way it should behave.
I want to ask if there could be a Solution or workaround to fix that. Maybe i could save the calibration files (if there are any) and replace them on every boot with a little script? It's really sad that i have so many problems with this phone and i thought maybe i can manage this one.
Hope to get help with this.

Anyone have any problems like this. GPS don't work, camera don't work, gyroscope don't work, and proximity sensor don't work. I've flashed to stock and various ROMs. I'm really hoping it isn't a hardware problem.

Unlocked bootloader, rooted and running cm10. I replaced the screen, but I remember most of the sensors working after relacing it. Vibrate worked and auto rotate sill worked. Then soon after, I noticed all that stoped working. Doesn't matter what rom, kernel, or even if I odin to stock. I fear the worst
Hello again everyone! Has anyone else had an issue during calls with the proximity sensor? When I take the phone away frorm my ear the screen does not away come back on.. I have googled it wihtout much luck. Does anyone know any tips to use to recalibrate it on cm11 with a relay 4g? The only thing I found was this link [I can't post links, but google 'calibrate proximity sensor android legend' should be 1st result] but towards the end the *#0*# dialer code used to test it doesnt work so im not sure if the fix will work or not. Since I expect all of you to be using your Relay 4g's as a phone, you guys must have done something. What do you all suggest? Thank you all for your help!!

CM11-M3 is the only one I've had the issue with.. It's happened during the day, but I spoke to my wife on the phone tonight and outside at night it worked fine. I have been using this rom for 2days so far and i dont make too many phone calls, but its happened roughy half the time..

ok that ensures its the Rom and not hardware...ill lok into it a bit more but its an issue in hex coding within /system/lib/hw/ and was built with this issue from source....had this issue on my last device and was fixed
hi everyone - not a new issue, but seems like most ppls phone has this figured out now after 44s.
Getting ghost touches and very slow/laggy scroll/swipe response...basically have to press and drag the finger to get anything working.
Currently running stock CM11s 44s with a locked bootloader, completely flashed back to stock using the zip file from cyanogens website. but i have tried CM, Omni, paranoid, and have tried diff kernels including franco, but it doesnt seem to wanna work.

I have seen other people complain about this and it seems to be a bug, there is no fix at the moment. Wipe the screen clean with a microfiber/lint free cloth while the phone is off. If you think it's hardware damage then use your warranty and send it in.
hmm. I have contacted one plus and have submitted a ticket a while ago, but they are extremely slow in responding. its been over 20days now. Since the touchscreen works fine for the first 15 20mins, i thought it would be a software issue that i could somehow fix....
There will be a new Touchscreen firmware soon

it's a known problem. I have it too. I don't think a firmware update is going to fix it.

Hello, I have Samsung galaxy s5 G900P with stock rom 5.0 .
I have noticed that the rotation doesn't work even if I activate auto rotation or not , When I test my sensors with this code *#0*# I found that the gyroscope and the accelerometer stuck and the test fails .
I used the safe mode but no difference.
Please help.
I had the same issue. From what I know, if the test fails, your hardware for it went bad. I have to use a rotation app to go landscape. I just deal. Until I get a new phone. There's really only a couple apps it's annoying for, at least in my case. Not being able to track my steps doesn't really bother me. I know if I'm walking enough without a device needing to tell me.

I think if I try to flash another rom maybe it will be fixed?

I have flashed every room available for my phone. Rotation has never worked. It's hardware, not software, sadly.
