[Completed] HTC ONE M9 won't stop restarting - XDA Assist

Hi that's my first thread here and... I really need your help because everyone told me that my htc one m9 is dead but I think it's insane. I explain in brief details
I had my phone in my pocket and I Felt That vibrated Every 2 minutes, I thought it was what WhatsApp messages or something like that! But the surprise is what I like blocks at boot on the white screen with green HTC logo Written and restarts ...
I was gone to someone to fix it but was told that the FLASH stops at some stage!

O2 XDA Orbit 2 wont boot! SOS

Hi, I am new to this forum. Sorry if this thread is not in the right place.
I own an O2 XDA Orbit 2 aka HTC Polaris and today evening it froze on me. I tried soft boot, restarting, getting the batt/sim, memory card out but it just wont get past the boot up screen.
Its got the windows mobile logo with a volume bar overlapping it. It just stays on that and I have no clue what I need to do to fix it. I am a bit stressed as it got all me emails and some personal pictures and data which I cannot access.
I have also connected it to my PC via USB bit it wont let me explore the device. I would really appreciate it if someone can advise me on how to go about fixing this problem.
Many thanks

Hello there,
i have got the same problem as this gentleman has mentioned above, is it possible that someone can help us out with this annoying problem, i am very disappointed because its only 2nd day of my orbit 2 and it started behaving like this, your urgent replies will be highly appriciated.
Thanking you in advance.
I have had this a couple of times with my orbit - windows logo and volume bar just stting there. The only way I have resolved it is to perform a hard reset.

Black Screen!

First of all, I wanna say HI to all, cuz NOW am a REGISTERED MEMBER, here on this greate forum!
Secund, thanx to all u out there working ur best, to make it easy for us helpless hehe
Now to the subject!
Got a One X that does not start like it should. I think its something I can solve with my two hands, and hopefully not something too hard for me, to send it to some hardware fixer in some factury?!
The following things happens when I PRESS THE ON/OFF-START-button!
1- The red-charging-light turns OFF
2- The phone vibrates.
3- The red-charging-light turns ON
2- HTC Sync starts, and even "folder options" by Windows 7, there I can select to view whats on the memory, like a USB-stick.
And thats it. The screen remains black. Even in a darkroom, there were no light on the screen at all.
The phone is about a year old and I dont think its broken at all. But its the first time a phone is going black-screen on me, so dont actually know what or how to do.
Thats why I turn to u guys, and hope that you can help me in the right direction!
Big thanx from me and especially Iraq & Sweden!

OK, so it's starting like it should but black screen....
Try this - power your phone off then hold the volume down and the power button at the same time. Should start you up on a white bootloader screen. If you don't see the white screen, it's probably a hardware problem with your screen itself :crying: Do you still have warranty?
The "black screen" issue is a fairly common hardware problem from all accounts. It happened to me this past weekend. It's not clear what causes it, but a lot of people have experienced it.
I got AT&T to upgrade me early to a One. I've been fooling around with my One X, but nothing has solved it. I ran the 3.18 ruu on the chance it was a software issue, and it made no difference.
Game Over!

Hello again and thank you for your answers.
I'm really disappointed with this phone. I did not know it would be difficult and so complicated.
It's not even used much and now dead?!
I've tried everything now. Read through many forums and especially on XDA. Tested with different combinations of keys, installation of RUU and even tried to open it and see what the problem is ... BUT NOTHING
Why should this happen to this phone / model?
Always had HTC and never seen anything like this. Really disappointed: (
That said, I have not been able to solve this problem, but many thanks to you for taking the time to respond and give me tips.
Thanks / Yunyii
try putting pressure on the left side of the screen, near the edge, see if it flickers on at all. If so, it could be a loose cable.

[Completed] [Q] HTC ONE M7 doesn't open/charge - doesn't boot !

My HTC One M7 suddenly blacked out without any obvious reasons,it was working fine and charged (20-25) % .
now it doesn't open, and it doesn't charge and the Red LED doesn't show or flashes.
i tried holding power for various periods of time (15 sec, 30 sec, 1 min,..) also tried the power+Vol.Down , Power+Vol.Up , and the Three buttons for also various periods of times and it doesn't blink , it doesn't open.
i also tried to open a strong flash light in the sensors up the screen while doing these steps and it didn't work either.
the phone is in a mint condition, never had a problem with it before since i got a month ago.
when i connect it to the PC, it makes the plugging sound, and it show "Qualcomm "something Driver.
i need help please

Stuck in a boot loop please help!!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for stopping by to read my post and hopefully help me with my issue. This started yesterday and I am not sure what I did but the phone acts like it's going to boot (it's pretty slow loading tho) and gets to the background of the phone then the phone one plus 7 pro goes back into the rebooting again and again until the phone is over heating. Please help. I'm also noticing now that it's stuck currently on the T-Mobile pink screen.
I'm hoping this is enough information for everyone to get a idea of what's going on. I hope someone can help!! I'm dying here without my phone. Lol thanks so much for any help out there.
