3.5mm Headphone Jack software fix? Help? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

Im having an issue with the headphone jack. When i plug in headphones or the aux cord in my car the phone recognizes it and plays music. But if the cord is twisted or moved (not unplugged) it pauses the music because it thinks i unplugged the jack. Is there a fix to this? Maybe a software fix to stop the music from pausing when the jack is unplugged?

That means that the jack is dirty.

Fuze headphone/audio out issues

Have any of you experienced issues using the TP as a Aux in for your cars?
For some reason I can only get clean audio out of the phone by plugging in my charger. The second I pull the power cord off the sound gets muffled and distorted. Same with both TCPMP and WMP.
I tested the plug on my headphones and the sound is clean? Whats the deal?
Hi. The charging noise is caused by lack of grounding. The only way to solve this is buy a bluetooth audio receiver so there is no physical audio contact with your car.

Headphone Issue

Complete newb question. Just got an audio converter cable (goes from the charger point so a normal headphone can plug in). I put in headphones and I don't get stereo sound (sound only one side, the right side). How do I get sound to change from mono to stereo?

[Q] Headphone Jack Intermittently Working

Anyone else having issues with the headphone jack working or partially working? Yesterday, I noticed that I had my phone plugged into the 3.5mm aux cable on my car but couldn't hear any sound and today I tried listening to music with some headphones but was only getting sound out of one headphone jack (these were on brand new Bose Sie2i). For the hell of it, I rebooted and it worked fine -- my guess is this is a software issue.

headphone Jack glitch

Hi, my headphone Jack on my AT&T HTC One A9 are glitched and everytime I plug in headphones the sound still plays through the speakers. I know the Jack isn't damaged because when I used the app sound about to force the sound to play through wired headphones then the sound plays through the headphones. My question is if there is anyway to make the jack recognize my headphones without the help of a third party app

i've the same issue in mate 8, occurred right after I've upgraded to nougat.
i have the same problem
Maybe you've got some dust inside the headphone jack?
Any answers?
I have the Mate 9 and I am experiencing the same issue with the aux cord. I connect it to my card but the audio plays through the phone and not through the car stereo. The headphone jack is clean and when I connect headphones it plays through the headphones. It just not recognizing the aux cord.
