Snapchat not working - Verizon HTC One (M8)

Basically I've had it working before but now I can't log in no matter what i do. I'm going viperrom 5.0.2 and have had no trouble for months with uninstalling xposed framework if I accidentally logout of snapchat. But this morning I randomly was logged out (happened to my friend on apple aswell) and I can't log in even if I factory reset . I've tried completely wiping my phone and re-installing the rom. I got into a fresh rom and unrooted with supersu and rebooted but my Wi-Fi wouldn't turn on. But snapchat would login so I assumed if was definitely root that was messing it up. So I did a fresh install again and unrooted and for Wi-Fi worked. But snapchat didn't work.
So at this point I have tried everything I can think of to make snapchat login. I've tried countless other snapchat apks. And even tried a blue stacks titanium recovery but it auto logs out as soon as you get in the app.
Please somebody help me

me too any solution??

[Q] App update/install fails.

Yesterday i have unlocked the bootloader and rooted my NS. And after this while syncing (automatic) the applications back to the phone, two of the apps failed to sync with the following error.
"App name" could not be downloaded due to an error.
And after this I am not able to install any new apps or update the existing apps through Market.
I tried clearing the cache, restarting the phone, but to no effect.
Then I tried installing the new market (manual download and install) and installation went through fine!!!.
Even with the new market, I am facing the same problem.
I have searched for a soln everywhere but to no avail. Could someone please tell if they have faced it and how to solve this???
Just now noticed another weird thing. When i press install from the site - market.android.com, the apps are getting installed successfully. Even the failed ones.
Have same issues with my NS too...
Any help???
Resolved!!!
This might be the hard way. But it will work. It looks like the issue happened because lot of applications tried to install/update together. And syncronisation didnt happen properly.
First, I tried a factory data reset. After restarting, all apps started getting synced in a bunch. After around 40-50 apps were sync'ed, installation of the remaining failed.
Then I again did a factory reset. After it started sync'ing, i locked my mobile for 4-5 mins, then unlocked it. Onces some 4-5 apps were installed properly, i locked it again. Did it some 15-20 time and finally all my apps were synced properly. And now I am able to install new apps as well.
I did a factory reset too but did not restore my Google account nor I restored my Titanium backup. Fresh start and it works now for me.
Thanks,
Congratulations!
CONGRATS!
WELL DONE BRO!:laugh::victory:

[Q] Help Thread. Android Self Restarting

I have a rooted samsung galaxy s3 running cyanogenmod 10.1. I use snapchat from the play store and after recording a video in the app, it freezes up, then reboots. I didn't have this problem with the stock rom. The app seemed to work fine before I installed adblock plus which made snapchat keep force closing itself right after opening. I uninstalled adblock plus and started using lucky patcher and after that is when snapchat keeps restarting my phone. Even when I turn off the ad block, it still force restarts the phone after taking video. I've tried installing previous versions of snapchat and reinstalling it but nothing makes a difference. Any ideas?
Help is appreciated. Thank You.
I tried completely wiping all storage and files and even wiping system files and rerooting and clean installing cyanogenmod 10.1.3 but the app still force restarts my phone

Phone just crashed and now having problems booting up

So I'm here at work.. working with my phone plugged in, charging, doing it's thing which shouldn't be much when I look over at it there's a bunch of "application x has crashed" and then reboots. Except it only sort of reboots. It sometimes hangs on the reboot, and if I reboot it 3-4 times it might come up into the OS but then all those messages appear again and it'll reboot itself.
I don't think I've installed anything crazy recently and blocked updates a long time ago when I got it, and am rooted with TeamWin recovery on it. I go into recovery and do a fix permissions and permissions and I get a bunch of errors to the effect of "e: xml error parsing file"
I do see that I have a nandroid backup from about 3 months ago that I might just have to try restore, but it's just weird that it seems like the phone just crashed itself. Can anyone think of any options I can try before I do that?
Also I don't think the phone has ever been updated since I got it as I froze/killed that process. Should I try upgrading to the latest? Are there big fixes/security issues that I should be concerned with that would make me want to upgrade?
Thanks for the help.

1. What did you do to that x applications? Did you just disable like location in the privacy guard?
2. Well, try to wipe the x application's data in settings -> app menu. If you can't navigate to there, try wipe all your data via recovery
3. Try to dirty flash your rom
4. Change into another rom
After a bunch of reboots, I was able to get the phone up but half my applications were deleted including Google Play store and most other Google apps including Inbox, Gmail, Hangouts. I might be paranoid, but maybe it was a Stagefright virus, but I have no proof that was it.
In the end I restored my nandroid from 4 months ago and it's now stable. But seriously I wasn't touching it when it started and then proceeded to destroy itself. Very strange behavior.

Phone password spontaneously stopped working

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 mini on stock rom, rooted. I was looking through Xposed for new possibly interesting modules. I installed one which said you can set volumes to have more than 15 points. So I installed it but I did not reboot yet figuring that I would do that later. I made all new backups of my apps and data using Titanium backup and then tried to reboot my phone but the reboot menu button would not work and the screenshot button at the top was blank yet functional. So I loaded up, or attempted to load up Wanam Xposed to check what was going on since that is what configures my rom and it said the app was not installed when I pressed on the shortcut.
So I rebooted the phone, entered the encryption password, it came up to the lock screen and from that point it would say my password did not match. I tried every password I have ever used, varying case and everything. No password worked. I had not manually changed it either. I had no choice but to factory reset the phone and format the SD card. Also I should mention that when I found out that wanam xposed was not seemingly installed any more, I attempted to install it and it would just say "App was not installed" or something. Then I installed Wanam Toolbox or something, I forget exactly now, but that installed and I rebooted and that's when I noticed my lock screen password was not working.
Any ideas on what the cause may have been and what things I could attempt to do if it ever happens again? I thought there was a thing where you can use your google account to unlock the phone but I could not get that thing to come up.

Disabled magisk quickswitcher module then bootloop

So summary
OOS 9
Magisk 19
Disabled I think is quickswitcher module
Now I just get animation going forever on booting, if I leave it long enough about 20 minutes or so, it reboots itself and goes back to loop.
TWRP is accessible.
I tried MM recovery tool in core only mode but still doesnt boot.
Ideally I need a solution that doesnt involve a factory reset.
Ok the core only mode didnt stick I think, so did it again and the phone is booted.
With no phone app , completely gone off the phone.
It shuts down after about 20 seconds after booting up.
Backing up what I can over USB from TWRP, and this might force me to migrate to my Oneplus 8 pro which has been sitting in its box, but I will still appreciate any input on how to get this running again without a reset so I can properly migrate app settings etc even if its losing magisk.
I managed to keep the phone bpoooted up for ages, and have done things like titanium backups, app setting backups etc.
I then tried to reinstall the phone app from the play store but got a vague "cannot install phone from google".
But at least now I can access settings etc. Take screenshots of settings also. So better baseline for the new phone.
Pretty crazy how all this broke so easily though.
So I dont know how this happened but I managed to recover the phone.
The xXx rom magisk module got wiped when I deactivated the recents module, this removed the google dialer framework and some build.prop changes the rom module puts on the phone.
I initially just added the framework magisk module which allowed the google phone app to reinstall, all my call logs were intact. But the phone was still unstable on booting so had to reinstall xXx which seems to have fixed that, albeit now with added lag.
But I have backed up everything now anyway so will migrate to my newer phone its long overdue, but this post is here now in case anyone else has the same issue.
