This is not my work
I downloaded it from a site (don't remember)
I suppose it has not been posted, therefore I do
I uploaded it to my google drive, here is the link:

Note: I suppose this version need google based launcher, so you need to install Google Now Launcher to use (or other google based launchers)
I'm sorry if this post is duplicated. This work is NOT credited to me
Edit: work in stock 5.1 with google now launcher

Hello guys, I tried to install the latest version of Google Navigation Maps in my Brazilian Cliq XT (Quench), for that I had to uninstall the actual version (dunno the number)...
Trying to install 4+ versions on my mobile I discovered that Android 1.5 is not supported, so I'm without any version.
If I access the site m.google.com/maps it just show a link to open the app, it does not give an option do install it.
Tried searching on Market, no luck. Tried searching on AppBrain the version is not compatible.
Does anybody know how can I install the compatible version of Google Navigation Maps?
Thanks
You can try the appmod Brut Google Maps; I'm not sure is Android 1.5 is supported, but it is probably your best bet.

@saulob
If I remember correctly Google has added 1.6 requirement just for navigation. GM3.2.0 was first version with both navigation and 1.6 req. 3.1.2 was latest without navigation and with 1.5 support.
@ZeroBarrier, that`s what caused the trouble, Android 1.5 does not support it
@Brut.all, thanks for the detailed info. So, 3.1.2 it is. Do you know where I can download the apk? Gonna Google for it. Thanks.
Thank you for the reply guys.
edit:
Found it on the new, on a site called freewarelovers, new and old versions, too bad I can`t post the link... but, the site /android/app/google-maps
With the version number it was easier
I just ran the 4.4 emulator, when I realized it has the 4.2/4.1 launcher.
Does this mean that G.E.L is proprietary?
Does this mean, CMIIW, it either comes through the Play Store for compatible devices <4.4 ;or not at all (bc GApps only apply to specific API levels.)
I'm probably wrong knowing myself :victory:
Peace
Google Now Launcher is working on my Galaxy Tab 7.7
Maybe you want to try.
Take a look at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2561057, download and install Google Search and Google Home apk. Maybe it's necessary to install new Google play services first.
And done.
Works great on my device.

I'm on Stock ROM 4.1.2. Google Play Services 4.2.43 and Google search 3.2.17 are up to date. Then install Google Now Launcher 0.10.1.920880. Get it here: http://www.share-online.biz/dl/3UO7AY1NS60
Done Worked great for me.
In the meantime Google releases an official Version of it's Launcher which only works on Android 4.4 KitKat.

I don't know where you're from but if you're fine with English language stock Rom from Singapore works great. But to be honest it's not snappier or more stable it's just nicer. The new stuff works finally

So for some reason Google wont install on my Xiaomi Redmi A1 because of Google Go i think? Thing is Google Go is good but the Assistant Go app doesn't really have that much customization. I have the non-go version of assistant installed and i want to use it but it requires the regular version of google to work.
Anybody know a workaround that doesn't require root or such?
Device Info:
Xiaomi Redmi A1 (220733SG)
Android 12 Go Edition
Sorry if my english is bad and this is a noob question
Indeed, you can install the “full version" of most of Google's proprietary apps on a device running an Android Go Edition build. But, as you've probably found out yourself, you won't be able to download these apps from Google Play. You'll need to download the apps app package (APK) from a trusted Android app repo. Be sure to download the correct architecture (ARM, ARM64, etc.) as well as the correct DPI matrix.(apps listed as nodpi are universal and will work on any DPI config). Once downloaded you should be able to install the APK and run the standard build of Google app on your Go Edition device. You will have both the standard app and the Go Edition version of app installed, and you can choose to use either one. APK Mirror is a trustworthy repo for Google's proprietary app packagers.
Thanks for your answer! I'll try to find an APK of google that supports my device. I appreciate your help.
