Zero problems
ROM-s and development of the Samsung Galaxy sm-j120fn model
Is it possible for someone to create a custom ROM for this model?
I bring all similar but not fully compatible custom ROMs for sm-J120f, they do work but some things do not.
And I also bring the page with the latest original stock ROMs:
Here you can find ROM-s and many tweaks customized for the 120f model (I think its not difficult to customize them for this model):

Or if it is possible to adjust this karnel for 120fn or at least OTG tweaks I would be extremely grateful :fingers-crossed::

Here you can find the latest stock ROM for all Samsung models if you want to return to the original, or for developers to remodel them:

Hey guys, sorry but I cannot seem to find any information on this.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2, i9100, and I want to root it.
The problem I am having is that I am a [noob] yes I admitted it, but I cannot seem to find the ROM for my device.
I attached a screenshot of my device's about section.
Now I know that the steps are to use ODIN, and then download a CF root, but I can't seem to find my ROM. I am from an island called Trinidad & Tobago (Caribbean) and I have updated my device to ICS.
Can anyone please explain to me, what the hell do I have to do to root this device? I want to install a custom rom, if anyone can vouch for a nice smooth rom that looks great!
Thanks in advance!
Cheers!
ZetaJynx!
This method needs to have an external card to your sii. Put the files both in external and internal card too. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1501719

Now if u want to install a custom rom install first a custom kernel for samsung ics 4.0.3 (not aokp aosp) from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1702166 and after install rom. U can do this using the temporary cwm u downloaded before. Is the safest way this because custom kernels had injected cwm and not using temporary cwm. Read well the instructions of the developer before installing , also check before installing a custom rom if it has a safe kernel because excists a brick bug at samsung roms 4.0.4 and +.
I have recently bought Vodafone Smart 4 Turbo (Coolpad 8865U) with Android system KitKat 4.4.2 . I rooted my device via towelroot without any problems and I would like to know If it is possible to flash ClockWorkMod (CWM) or any other reliable custom recovery mod in order to port a Custom ROM. I have been searching for weeks but I still haven't come up with any result, as my 8865U is not listed at ROM Manager application. My device is not listed at xdadevelopers forum too, so i can't seek for any solutions. Is there any way to port manually or I will end up "bricking" my device?
Well you're right about there being no support for your device. Not all devices here are supported. Your only chance is to try to build it yourself. here's a tutorial you can try if you're skilled.

Hello everybody!
Just got a couple questions for ya,
ZTE Imperial (N9101) U.S.C.C.
1. Does anyone know where I can find any custom recoveries and nightly and/or stable Roms?
Samsung Axiom (SCH-R830) U.S.C.C.
2. Same problem for me, Does anyone know where I can find any custom recoveries and nightly and/or stable roms?
The ZTE I have found only the Apollo-Amazon stock Rom, otherwise absolutely nothing, only reason I was able to get it rooted "successfully" is from "SrSroot"
The Axiom all I have been able to find is a Odin flash-able CWM and root combo for this, and a Odin Flash-able debloated stock Rom.
These aren't over the top phones, but are still some great phones that are reliable, easy to use/work with and would be great starter/learner phones for my daughter now that she is wanting to get into modifying smartphones. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Hi guys and gals,I have 3 tablets a samsung tab 2 with custom rom, also a tab 3 no mods roms and then i bought this proline product http://www.loot.co.za/product/proline-l10a1g-10-1-quad-core-tablet-with-3g-16gb-an/kkhm-2683-g220

This is basically the only forum where i could possibly get info. Thanks in advance for all the help offered:good:
Hi there. Like you , I too have a Proline H7516R quad core. I'm trying to flash it with a custom rom but can't find one that'll work. How far did you get with yours? Any help would really be appreciated coz it looks like there's no info out there on these prolines. Also do you know whether these models are rebranded and if so, from which make and model? Thanx man :good:
Hi everybody,
Seems like I posted in the wrong topic (General forum), so I post my question here
I am now using a Galaxy tab 2 P5110, running under Android 4.1.2, not rooted.
My problem is that my Tab is really slow when I use basic apps (chrome, office apps).
In order to get a bit more power from it (removing the Samsung layout, but I know it's a 2012 tablet...) I am looking for the most stable ROM I could use, and if possible running under a quite recent android version.
I am quite new to this kind of manipulations, so I am also looking for a tutorial to instal the ROM you could advice me.
I know I have to root my tab before doing anything. Does the tutorial available here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho....php?t=1657056 - by Weltwon) work with 4.1.2 android version?
I have an other question: Is the root enough to remove the Samsung touchwizz layer? If yes, how to do it?
Thank you all for your answers!

Edit: I have an other question. Is the root enough to remove the Samsung touchwizz layer? If yes, how to do it?
Before you do any of this, check if your emmc is faulty or not by using a brickbug checker app from the play store.
(Requires root) f you want to stay on stock rom but its becoming laggy, trimming the storage would reduce lags. This is because native trim support didnt come until 4.3.
But if you want to move to the latest version of android, most roms posted under the unified section are stable except 7.1 which is still experimetal
--Rooting the tab--
You can use cf autoroot by chainfire but it requires a usb cable, a pc, and odin. Tutorials about this can be found on google. Just make sure you use the right package for our model.
You can also use one touch root apps such as kingroot or kingoroot but they contain bloatware.
And lastly, you can flash a custom recovery such as TWRP using odin and flash supersu from there.
Hope this helps
Thanks you Lightracer!
Do you have an emmc chercher app to advice?
I'm going to read a bit more about rooting ans flashing ROM.
I do not really care about running Samsung Stock ROM or not. My though was to run an Android Stock ROM, without any "layer" (touchwizz, ...), And if possible, the most up to date version.
Is it necessary to enable TRIM if I flash a Android Marshmallow or Nougat ROM ?

Click to collapse
Just check "Emmc brickbug check" in the play store.
If you want the stockiest rom, check out the unlegacy project in the unified section. Its AOSP 4.4/5.1 /6.0/7.1 roms.
TRIM is enabled in most kernels. But if you have the emmc brickbug, it might kill your tab X(
Good luck! Also press thanks if I helped ^_^
