[Completed] In need of help with rooting my LG G Stylo android device. Did some steps but lost! - XDA Assist

So my device is a LG G Stylo. Has 1gb of RAM, 1.2Ghz processor. Model is LGLS770
Trying to root phone for first time and lost. I did ALOT of research and videos and i just cant find exacly how. I downloaded and app 'supersu' and 'Root withpot PC'. So far ive learned in order to do this you need to download current su zip file, which i did and transfered to SD card.
Next apparently i need to download a 'custom recovery mode', but i need to make sure that my 'bootloader' is unlocked. I powered down my device, and power/volume down, and into recovery mode. I have also unlocked 'developers options' and then turned on OEM or whatever and USB thing...but i just dont know how to unlock 'bootloader' or how to install CWM or TWRP thing. I also do NOT have a computer....
If you guys can guide me that would be great.
Regards,
Ferranzo

[Completed] [Q] Hisense U971 can't complete boot

Hi guys, I usually solve issues by myself buy I need some help with this one.
I bought my son this device, we rooted it together and changed very lightly the UI ogg's , there was no problem keep using it .
Then we thought why not to change the boot animation, so we downloaded this app from google play called .... "boot animation", and now we can't make it boot at all (WE SEE THE NEW ANIMATION ON THE SCREEN, not rebooting).
tried:
1. hard reset and wipe/factory settings... nothing!
2. no ROMS available ,I found 2 roms but the first one claims that it should work through CMD (the computer can't identify the device), the other one causes "verificaiton problem" when trying to install from SD.
3. sent email to HISENSE , hope to hear from them
I need PLEASE any information from someone who knows how to handle this problem, I think that the only way to solve it is to install a new CWM or ROM from SD , offcourse that id it was samsung device it was much easier.
thank you very much
Lior
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. The best way to tackle this is by reflashing the stock firmware or ROM. All you probably need to do is have the correct drivers installed on your PC in order for it to communicate with your phone. Take a look at this thread:
[TOOL] [WINDOWS] ADB, Fastboot and Drivers - 15 seconds ADB Installer v1.4.2
If you still can't get it to work I'd suggest you ask your question here:

Hi, thanks!
I installed adb+fastboot, adb found the device but fastboot not...
There's no fastboot mode on the recovery, any ideas?

[Completed] Lenovo Tablet S6000L

Hi everybody;
I'm having big problems with a Lenovo S6000L tablet which became a brick for a while and came to (half) life again because I can get into recovery or fastboot but it won't turn on again further than that after a factory reset. I used SP Flash Tool with (stock, I suppose) rom "S6000_A442_001_025_131017_ww_wifi" which takes me to a "Please button to set the Country Code" again and again to select the Country option but afterwards it will show a time "Timeout Failed".
Before it went wrong I had made a backup of the previous rom using Clockworkmod and the problem is that, after the factory reset, I have lost that CWM recovery and canĀ“t install CWM back again from the rom backup which was ok because SP Flash Tool doesn't seem to install it. Installing CWM would solve my problem but I am scared about flashing the wrong files and get a brick again. Of course , part of the problem is that I can't use MTK Droid Tools to install CWM because apparently Debugging is off and MTK DT doesn't recognize the tablet when connected, which SP Flash Tool does.
So could anybody, please, give a hand to make this half-brick work again?
Thank you.
