Hi everyone!
I have installed Android 7.0 on son xperia lt29i . I am facing only one problem. My WIFI is not working. Its not getting turned on.
The phone is out of warranty and cannot be taken to service center . Can anyone help me to troubleshoot WIFI issue?

As per information given, I think you should check ROM is having problem or kernel (if custom installed). I remember flashing a custom kernel with CM12 but after that wifi used to give same problem as yours, I had to install kernel again to remove that bug.
I found this workaround in comments, make sure before trying antything new you have already done research.

I rooted my nexus s according to the guide at jaxov website (i am not able to post link, because this is my first post)
And now my wifi doesnt work . What should I do , is there a fix to that . I googled about this issues and nothing helped.

did you try to flash an original rom and then try one of the other rooting methods?
(they are in the Nexus S forum part)
Flash new kernel from nexus S development section or if u have time then install custom rom

let me explain my problem better : i installed vipers 1.2.1 and it was great the only problem is wifi which i can not turn it on
some guys told me wipe cach+dalvik . then i wiped it and it fixed. wifi found my modem and i connected to internet.
but after rebooting my device while wifi was on, i still can't connect to my modem.
wifi is always on and i can't turn it off. it founded my modem but it always shows not it range.
what should i do now/? is it about the kernal ?? how should i find a good kernal ? should i download it then install it like a new rom?
i couldn't find any solution about fixing wifi problem in this beautiful vipers 1.2.1 rom

Hi I use viper and the kernel I use is Sebastian. I have no problems at all with WiFi. I suggest a fresh installation of viper, with a new download incase the old one is compromised. Do full wipe, cash, dalvik , wipe data factory reset, then install Rom. Then if you wish to install sebastian ( it's a great kernel for battery life too) install like you would a Rom. You should not have any trouble with WiFi then. If problem still is happening after that, l would post on the viper development because someone else might have same issue or know of a fix. Well first you need to see whether you face this bug on Stock too if its in Stock too then its a hardware issue and if not than its CM10 issue which you need to bring it to attention of CM10 Developer for your device
im having a problem with my Snapchat, whenever i record a video then add it on my story a green line will appear. I tried reinstalling it but its not fixing the problem. I've been searching on how to fix it for a month but still there is no solution. if i flash a new custom ROM will this fix the problem? my phone is Cherry Mobile Cosmos One running Android 4.4.2 Kitkat

Hey guys, I'm a newbie when it comes to this kind of thing I.e using flashtool however, I've used it in the past with no problems well, no major problems that affect software. Yesterday, I decided to change the software on my Xperia Z1 because it seemed to be hiccuping and just not really performing well but when I managed to unlock the bootloade,root it then flash a 4.2.2 ftf file on it, I've lost mobile service. Could you please help me? Anything is appreciated. Like I said, I'm a beginner so please be as simple as possible.

P.s I think I messed something else up yesterday when trying to fix this issue - I changed carrier to US or something like that in phone settings so I know I'm Fd. I'm gonna have to flash a new rom but don't want the same issue occurring.
