Hey guys, had a custom stock rom on my S6, I'm pretty sure it was Noble Rom, I stupidly factory reset my phone and then wiped it using recovery and ticked the wrong thing without thinking, at this point my phone was bricked.
I managed to get back into my custom recovery and install another rom, upon setup i noticed that the phone said I didnt have a sim card, I tested it in another phone and it worked fine so i know its not an issue with the phone. I then thought it was an issue with the baseband it was based off of, so i got a rom based off of the firmware for my phone (PDA - G920FXXU3DPDP / CSC - G920FEVR3DPD1 / United Kingdom EVR).
However, no matter what Rom I install my sim card doesnt work, so I'm just wondering if anyone knows what I may have done while messing around in Odin or recovery thatcould of made this happen.
Also, does anyone have the stock firmware for the device listed below, I'd get it from SamMobile however the slow downloads take waaay too long.
Model SM-G920F
Model name Galaxy S6
Country United Kingdom (EE)
Version Android 6.0.1
Changelist 7884513
Build date Fri, 22 Apr 2016 07:17:20 +0000
Security Patch Level 2016-05-01
Product code EVR
PDA G920FXXU3DPDP
CSC G920FEVR3DPD1
Thanks in Advance.
EDIT: Just tried flashing TWRP, it passes but then when I try to boot into recovery all i get is a message in the top left saying "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING"

Hi,
So I've rooted & flashed new custom ROM's on my Galaxy i9000 & P5100, specifically to improve performance, though some technicalities still elude me.
For eg. my P5100 has CyanogenMod 11-20140504-NIGHTLY-p5100 though the baseband version states P5100XXCLI5
On SamMobile there is newer versions, though the downloads are around 1GB, and relates to specific countries, whereas a custom ROM is around 200MB.
i.e
Model: GT-P5100
Model name: GALAXY Tab 2 10.1
Country: Austria (Orange)
Version: Android 4.2.2
Changelist: 2392162
Build date: Sat, 04 Jan 2014 07:15:13 +0000
Product Code: ONE
PDA: P5100XXDNA1
CSC: P5100ONEDNA1
MODEM: P5100XXDMG1
Surely the device will function better with the newer baseband (firmware), however, flashing the incorrect one via Odin could brick the device.
Therefore, how would I go about selecting the newest baseband (firmware) if my country is not even listed ? ...

If your custom rom CM11 runs well --> DON'T flash any other firmware please.
The stock firmware inlcudes all device's partition (bootloader/radio/recovery/system and many BLOATWARE apps) Thats why the stock firmware packages need more storage
Thanks for the reply and noted.
However, I cannot update the apps as Google Play Store only states "No Connection" "retry" regardless of the number of times I do retry. (WiFi & 3G is working 100%)
I've tried all the options as mentioned on the net, though without any luck. (Re-flashed, factory defaulted, deleted & amended hosts file under /etc, cleared caches & disabled apps)
Currently the tablet is nothing but a large phone ... which is why updating the baseband (firmware) is ... like the only option I have left ...
Therefore that I'm pondering flashing the latest PDA, CSC & MODEM --- firmware--- (which is an Android 4.2.2 Bloat ROM), followed by an CyanogenMod "update" to Android 4.4.2
Which has me pondering the possibility of ONLY flashing the PDA, CSC & MODEM ... (not neglecting the fact that my country is not even listed within the SAMMobile.com firmware download page)

Lastest Austria(Orange) FIRMWARE
Thanks for the download link, though I already downloaded from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=28194
TAB is now reflecting BASEBAND as P5100XXDMG1 (from previous P5100XXCLI5) with CyanogenMod flashed as the stock didn't come up.
However, I'm still stuck with Google whom cannot communicated with they're servers ....

Perform a FULL WIPE --> Then flash the stock firmware via ODIN again. Don't flash CM before you got it working again
Flashed stock ROM, though same result.
Then flashed SlimROM, though also with same result ...
By accident, found MoboGenie, which allows me to update the apps, as "No Connection", retry, is still relevant ...

Hi all, I just recieved my phone and it works fine, problem, I am a Tmobile subscriber and the phone is a SM-G930A Ver. 6.01 marshmallow. I can't update OTA and some other issues. I want to flash to Tmobile and have downloaded these files as well as Odin, phone in developer options correct, etc. Will this work? I am also concerned about KNOX, should I be? Thanks in advance, a newbie.

KNOX only trips when you flash custom firmware, so if you've got the stock firmware files it shouldn't trip KNOX, just make sure you got them from a reliable source (simfirmtool, sammobile, updato etc)
You should have 4 or 5 files to flash with Odin, AP, CP, BL and CSC (or HOME_CSC, which doesn't wipe data, CSC does, choose one)
You can't flash an older Android version on Snapdragon devices but you can sidegrade or upgrade, but since you're flashing from 6 to 7 it shouldn't be an issue.
Hello,
I'm trying to fix my soft bricked phone with this error (no quotes):
"dm-verity verifiation failed..."
I've already soft and factory reset the phone to no avail, as it still will not boot past the Samsung logo. Googling the problem has told me that flashing the original firmware with Odin should fix it, but after hours of searching I still cannot determine what firmware I need to download and use. Reading some of the threads here supposedly i can use firmware that shares my carrier and country but I cannot find the correct combination on any site.
Country: US
Phone: S7 (G930F) - On the recovery mode screen the full designation is G930FXXU1BPH6
Carrier: T-Mobile
Version 6.0.1
Does anyone know exactly where I can find useable firmware for the phone? Everything I see online (like sammobile for example) just has the firmwares for other countries.
Before the bootlock my phone was rooted if it matters.

The G930F is a primarily European device, so a different region than the US.
The firmware version you have provided is an old version of Marshmallow on T Mobile Poland. The fact that it's Poland doesn't really matter it's still EU region.
Now heres the important part....T Mobile in Europe do not use all of the same bands as T Mobile US so although you can flash any firmware for Europe your phone will not work 100% in the US
So first of all flash with either a nougat firmware for United Kingdom T Mobile or Untied Kingdom nougat undranded (BTU). From Sammobile.
I don't advise going straight to Oreo because there may be a fix for older nougat firmware from EU region to work perfectly in US. Once you upgrade firmware you cannot downgrade.
Once your phone is up and running you just need to look on the forum of how to get a G930F device working perfect on US networks.
hi everyone,
i recently bought a used Galaxy S8+ here in japan, with the model number being SM-G955FD and android version 7.0.
i tried updating it manually and using the smart switch app but nothing happens and the app says its up to date.
i tried doing a factory reset on the phone but instead of the normal recovery menu i got a odin menu.
I think the old owner changed the firmware and now im stuck.
im quite new to android so i dont know much about what to do.
any help is appreciated.
Edit:
my firmware is G955FXXU1AQH3, and CSC code is XXV-vietnam.
i tried using odin to install a official firmware but it fails at boot.bin and on the phone it says secure check fail bootloader.
i really dont know what to do.
Im going to dump some info from my phone:
System Info:
Android 7.0
Samsung Experience Version 8.1
Baseband Version G955FDXXU1AQH3
CSC XXV/XXV/SKC
Phone INFO Samsung:
Bootloader Version G955NKSU3CRI3
PDA Version G855FDXXU1AQH3
CSC version G955FOXM1AQH3
Baseband Version G955NKOU3CRI1
Original CSC code XXV
Active CSC code XXV
Avaiable CSC codes INS, ITV, THL, TUR, XEO, XFE, XME, XSG, XSP, XTC, XXV
Its not rooted.
Edit: Forgot to mention but on the back of my phone it says SM-G955N, download mode is in korean and on the Recovery menu it says G950NKSU1AQG7.
