Which mi 4i rom is the best for gaming ?
I own a Mi4i but want to answer the question more in a general way. Mi4i processor is not a performer.
Best roms should be one that don't run to many processes in the background. AOSP based roms with only essential features should do good. A good custom kernel with the right settings can speed up the device if it's working. Same applies for builds with a custom toolchain like uber or saber.

Can u suggest me any particular custom rom and custom kernel ?
No, I said you what I want to say. I think I've given you enought hint's. It wouldn't be serious because I play simple games like spacepeng, so I don't know. I think you own the wrong device for you intend.

Actually no one can give you an apt answer rather than yourself for which is the best. You may have to try yourself to know which is the best kernel, just like your try ROMs. Go to your device forum, pick up the most active kernel threads, read comments and feedbacks from members in the thread and you can try after getting an initial idea about the same.

Hello, i didn't find any answer so here's my question :
ROM :
What's the differences between 2 customs ROM ?
I mean, i have seen like 10 different ROM based on the same android version but i don't see any difference.
Why shouldn't I stay on Cyanogen ? I don't get it.
Kernel :
I think i kind of understand the benefit on a custom kernel (overclock, maybe better battery life ?) but isn't it too risky ?
How does kernel compatibility work ? Is it based on an Android version ? Do 5.0.0 kernel will be compatible with a 5.1.1 version ?
Do you really feel the difference compared to the stock cyanogen one ?
And my last question will be : does cyanogen 12 (and 12.1) have OTA update or do i have to flash new zip every day ?

The ROMs might look the same but they're not. Features are implemented in different ways, plus there's a lot of unique code that you don't see which can affect many things, like speed and battery life. Also, you'll find that different ROMs have different feature sets. All in all it's up to you to decide which one is best for you, so have a look through them and pick one to test out. If you don't like it you can always flash another.
Custom kernels can offer extra features like overclocking, undervolting, fast charge while connected to a usb power source. There are risks involved, like if you overclock it can reduce the long term life of your CPU, undervolting too much will lead to instability.
CM12 (and 12.1) are nightlies which means there's a new build every day to update to (if you choose). You can either flash them manually or download via the OTA system. Not all ROMs have the OTA system.

Yes, as far as I know the gestures are implemented, they have been on all ROMs that I've tried anyway.

There are various differences between stock CM kernel and custom kernels, far too many for me to go into. Honestly though, the difference in battery life really isn't all that much. I never use a custom kernel and I still get great battery life.

It should be after the kernel source is released by Motorola for Marshmallow... Chroma is a simple AOSP ROM with some add-ins, just need the proper device tree and kernel source, some of which could probably be stolen from CM, and some tweaking for the device specific stuff.
I have mostly given up on custom ROMs for the Moto G3 though, the stock ROM is so tightly coded and efficient, using a 3rd party ROM almost always reduces battery life and performance to some degree.

I agree, I think my days of flashing 3 roms a day like the 2nd gen are over. It's going to be hard to beat stock.

I have testing some LineageOS based ROMs lately in my P5110 and P3110 and found no overclock option so far ?
Considering the low hardware profile in our tabs and the actual real overlclock, better user experience and battery tunning / real gain we get with some CyanogenMods 6.0.1, I see no point using, until now, the new LineageOS based ROMs!?
So I ask: Is there any known LineageOS ROM or compatible kernel with overclock potential that allows to improve the user experience as the "old" CM 6.0.1 does ?

No luck here as well mate, I've been forced to stick with CM13 since OC and themes are a must for me
Best user experience, for me, is with CM 6.0.1 from "[ROM][P31xx][P51xx][MM][6.0.1][Linaro][SaberMod] CyanogenMod 13" (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2686613) and "[ KERNEL - AOSP] Dhollmen Espresso" from (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176563&page=138).
Can run everything I need with good speed and make tweaks to allow battery savings even possible!

1-There is still no overclock available.
2-I am not a developer (yet) but I think the tab is fast enough as it is (running Slim7 if you want to know) and I don't think overclock is necessary. The place to start for building a kernel is google. I think I saw a guide in the past.
Also, keep in mind that devs make things because they want to and get no reward for that. So don't ask or press them to make anything. If you create your own kernel it will be greatly appreciated, but I think you wouldn't like people constantly asking you for something (and yes, overclock has been asked for a lot of times in the past).

so I've recently entered in the world of roms for OP6 and I've tried few of them, and there are some which I like for their appearance, some for performance and some for the battery, but here's the scenario:
there is rom A which I like for its appearance and then there's rom B which I like for its stability and the battery longevity
So as far as I understand and please help me if I'm wrong here, the kernel is supposed to handle this right? how the battery performs and stuff?
Coming back to the question, considering the roms are for the same model and based on the same android version (please add if any thing else is to be considered), can I use the kernel of rom B on rom A? and also considering that the rom B's description page has provided the GitHub link for their kernel.
This is what I've understood and think will help me achieve what I want which is rom B's battery longevity in rom A, is there any other way to achieve this or anything else on this?
I've presented a general scenario but the roms on which I want to try this is Syberia rom with havoc/awaken kernel.
