[Completed] Stuck in a bootloop after enabling the Knox security - XDA Assist

So, here is the situation before I got stuck in this bootloop my device (Samsung SM-J500FN) was rooted by Kingroot which never gave any problems.
Everyone was happy until Samsung decided to keep pushing these SE Security notifications by this so called Knox security.
Anyway, after many unsuccessful attempts of trying to sabotage this Knox security, I had to give up. It wasn't long after that until I decided to just follow the notification.
Meaning I enabled the Knox Security and accepted some sort of terms and conditions, the device rebooted and it never came back on.
I've searched all over the internet desprite looking for solutions, I tried wiping the cache, I tried a factory reset even tried reinstalling the firmware using Odin but no results.
Please let me know if you have any idea of what is going on here.
Thanks in Advance!

Root worked fine for some time and then suddenly fell into bootloop

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has an explanation for this.
I have T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 G930T and had working root for quiet some time until one day some apps started to crash. So I thought I would try clearing app cache and rebooting. Thats when the phone fell into a bootloop and got stuck on the Tmobile logo. I was able to boot up with factory reset but still would fall into bootloop again when restarted. So I redid everything by going back to stock and reroot. Now everything seems to work fine but I was just wondering why that happened? I mean its not like I'm getting bootloop while rooting but all of a sudden after its been working fine for quiet some time. I wouldnt want it to happen again since its a hassle setting up everything.
I am on the latest PIA firmware and could it be google and samsung security are catching up? I think there were rumors where your google accounts could be blocked for rooting which seems highly unlikely. Many are also rooted on PIA firmware but I havent heard of anyone mentioning this. Anybody care to explain to this noob?

[Completed] Verizon LG Lancet Android Setup Wizard Loop

Finally got around to fixing the screen on my LG Lancet with Verizon (stock OS Lollipop), and it already had a factory reset on it so I figured I would try to root it again. I had success and started doing what I normally do; getting rid of system apps. One of these was the Setup Wizard.
Started getting notices on screen that setup wizard (and other apps I uninstalled) had failed. This made the phone unusable. So I did another factory reset thinking I would just root again without uninstalling system apps this time.
Now I am at setup screen and right as I am about done going through it ( email, language, wifi, etc) it fails and sends me back to beginning.
So now I either need help to get past the setup wizard, or to out the original OS on with all the system apps o it won't put me in this loop again.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Greetings and welcome to assist. Unfortunately factory resetting will not bring back the missing apps, you may need to reinstall your original firmware. If you ask your question here

the experts there may be able to help you

Thanks so much for the reply! I figured that is what I would have to do but didn't know where to start. Will hit them up and see if I can get anything back.
Thanks again!

s8+ pin unlock after restart

I'm having issue unlocking my pin after rebooting my phone, I'd have to input my pin and select ok multiple times in order to unlock my phone and screen shuts off in between untill it randomly unlocks after a few times trying to input pin. I have tried to Google the problem to no avail. Anyone gets this or know the solutions? I'm using face unlock on us based s8+ if that helps anyone.
Same here this morning. Finally 15th attempt did a factory reset as I had set to do in such circumstance.
Restored from Samsung and Google and going again in about an hour. Now I'm leery about using pin*face security.
Just updated my custom rom to the latest version. Maybe help, maybe not.

Perhaps Samsung rolling out Bixby changes yesterday, which both roms share.

Android Tablet is dead

Hey all
This my first time in here and I don't have plenty of experience when it comes to android so please be patient
I have a chinesse iconix tablet that has been giving me hard time. it installs apps without confirmation (I believe these apps are trojans), I tried installing firewalls and antiviruses (kaspersky and bitdefender) but nothing changed, finally I installed a trojan killer and it found the trojans but once I gave it the order to clean them, it got stuck so I rebooted my tablet and unlickily now it's dead, when I try to turn it on, it gets stuck on the logo, I tried wiping the cache and restoring factory settings but nothing worked so now I'm stuck
Anyone can help please and be patient to explain in details (like a dummy's guide)
Thanks all
did you solve the problem because I have the same

First, those trojans probably came from some other app that you installed and that app is what installed the trojans. It is common when dealing with Chinese software.
Second, you will have to flash your stock firmware to solve this.
Do a Google search for:
"Return to stock (your specific model number)"
If it is available, that will find your stock firmware, the instructions to flash it and the tools to flash it.
If it isn't available, you are probably out of luck.

Have you tried restarting the phone? I had 1 time yesteday too, suddenly, the phone was idle, and when I checked Wifi found nothing. Restarted and then it works again. Not sure if related to March update or some other stuffs

Wow...after a factory reset, that's pretty much it!
You can try doing the reset network settings button (you can search it in the search bar in Settings or find it in the Internet setting on top right button [wrench and reset circle]), but I can't imagine it doing better than a factory reset.
The best/last thing that can be suggested, since it states you are rooted in your sig, is to flash the latest Full Factory image (March) and/or with the "-w" intact (since you stated that you did a factory reset so I imagine your phone is wiped anyways) and see if that doesn't fix the issue. The best 3 methods to achieve this is using the online Android Flash Tool, the tool PixelFlasher that can be found here on XDA, or manually using platform-tools (you must've used one of these in the past to be rooted, so I assume you're familiar).
Hopefully you get it figured out. Worst case, the phone is still under manufacturer's warranty and you should be able to get it replaced with a refurbished if it truly isn't resolved...

Yesterday I dirty flashed March update bmand disabled verity stuff. It forced me to format data. Is it enough or is there a better clean flash way ?
Btw I tried the reset network thing without success

Mmmm...when you stated you "factory reset", it wasn't clear whether it was from the OS system setting or when flashing...
I don't think there is a "better clean" way to flash and/or reset the phone. If you're not flashing/sideloading OTA (which you aren't)...
It (reset network) was a very long shot, but worth exploring just in case it hadn't been tried yet...
I mean, I guess you can try Android Flash Tool and even go as far as to flash to both slots and relock bootloader to get a pure, stock status and see if the problem truly sticks that way. You've already wiped the phone, so I doubt this could hurt or you lose anything important at this point. But I can't imagine dirty flashing the latest March update (or even including disabling the verity stuff) wouldnt've addressed or reset things to set the issue straight...
If it's still there after relocking the bootloader and flashing to both slots, then it's warranty exchange time (if you ever want to resolve the issue)...
*most likely the flashing somehow wrecked the system board radio enough...
If/When this works, you'll need go through the trouble of unlocking the bootloader, and reflashing the Full Factory image with disabling the verity & validation stuff, before rooting again.
Ok I think it's a hardware problem. When I shake my phone, I hear something moving.
I dropped it from my bed saturday night. The wifi module must be disconnected.
Let's send it to Google....

Are you sure that what you are hearing move when you shake the phone is just the OIS for the camera? All phones with OIS will make some noise when you shake them.

I don't know my friend. Google will send me the return process tomorrow. They told me 7 to 10 days for repairing. Why did I sell my old oneplus ?

I have had several OnePlus phones and they have all been great for me! However, I am having no problems with my 7 Pro either so....YMMV
