[Q] bsnl 2g data connection apn setting for htc inspire 4g model

Hi,
I'm staying in south india (north kerala) and i have bsnl 2g out there. I'm trying to setup the 2g data connection in my phone. Can anybody guide me how to setup bsnl 2g data connection in HTC Inspire 4g model phone?
I tried with bsnlnet and it didn't work.

well everyone i rooted my Inspire 4G and recently i have been getting 3G when i should have HSPA+ right now but its switching between the H+ symbol and the 3G symbol back when it was unrooted all i had was Edge (2G) and HSPA+ so idk but i need conformation that my phone is still in prime condition please help! and thanks if you do

From the dialer, type *#*#4636#*#* and see what it shows for network type. Mine shows HSPDA which is faux g. If it shows UMTS, then you are on 3G.

The symbols are different as to which ROM you have installed. They seem to mean very little as your real connection.

2G/3G switcher

Hello!
I couldn't find 2G/3G switcher?
Where is it? If it's absent, how can I set up this?

Just found official instruction for Atrix 2.
There is 2G/3G settings in it .
I'm wondering because my Atrix 2 shows just E (2G) in the status bar and don't want to switch to 3G.

On these phones E is 3G, G is 2G and 4G is hspa+

Could you please provide with link on it?
I checked speed and I have just about 10-20KBytes/s which is definitely 2G speed.
I inserted my SIM Card in the HD2 and got 3G icon and speed.

Ok I made a mistake, 4G = HSPA + in areas supported if not then 3G, Edge is 2G and G is GSMA , sorry for the mixup

3G problem on Alcatel One Touch Fierce 2 7040T

hi guys, i own an Alcatel One Touch Fierce 2 7040T
the problem is when i connect to cellular network, i can only connect to a 2G connection, even the 3G and 4G are available in the place where i am, and i know that this phone can run 3G also, but i can't connect to the 3G, i can only connect on 2G ! if i change the preferred network type to 3G only, i lose the connection of internet and calls, and i'm sure that the place where i am has also the 3G coverage, i think there is a problem on bands !! any help please ..

A31 4g issue

Good morning all
I have bought A31 before 2 days and I have an issue with the 4g signal
Sometimes when the phone on 4g internet its loosing internet for some seconds or minutes ( there is signal and 4g icon but no internet )
Then internet is coming back again
I tried to use 3g internet its working fine 100% , the issue is happening only on 4g
What I did :
Rest network
installed the operator original apn and used it without apn also ( same )
I feel the phone is not changing 4g to 3g or E automatically that's why its disconnecting
Any help Please ....
